Satellite T110 - loop 'system configuration '.

Hello

I'm a newbie, but not a total newbie. Just bought a new Satellite T110 pre-loaded with Windows7, lit, the first screen asks me to choose 64-bit or 32-bit, I clicked on 64-bit machine then entered a default factory recovery mode, but has now been locked in a loop of "system configuration" with several reboots during more than an hour - that makes any sense?

Kind regards

Pash

You won't believe me, but it makes sense. I obtained through Satellite L500 and I noticed the same thing.
After nearly one hour and several OS reboots was pre-installed and configured correctly.

But he was now locked in a loop of "system configuration" with several reboots during more than an hour - that makes any sense?

If the recovery procedure is not in the end it makes sense. Recovery procedure may take up to 2 hours.
Any donation interruption t installation and wait for that configuration and recovery image installation will be completed.

  • Satellite A300D-135 - BIOS - System Configuration data read error

After starting a Satellite A300D-135 laptop computer, the following error message appears:

    3070M extended RAM passed
    512 KB of L2 Cache
    System BIOS with a shadow
    Video BIOS with a shadow

    System Configuration data read error

    Press to resume, installation

After pressing F1 the machine starts Windows, very well, but the error message is quite irritating, while it comes with a loud BEEP

I tried the following things so far (in that particular order):
    -Load BIOS default
-Flashed the BIOS with the latest version of the BIOS (2.80) for this type of model
-Reinstalled windows with HARD drive format

All the these did not work.

I saw the same message appearing on several places on the internet (on different laptops with a Phoenix BIOS in common), but so far I have not been able to find a working solution.

It might me a hardware problem, but all devices (vga, soiund, lan, wifi, usb, hdd) seem to work perfectly under Windows, so this does not seem the question). Another solution that is mentioned in some forums, replace the battery. But because the phone keeps time correctly I don't think it's the case either.

    Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Hello

The POST (power on self-test) BIOS checks and detects errors on the motherboard.
I think it has something to do with the hardware on the motherboard problem.
I doubt that you can solve this if update of the BIOS and the BIOS default settings didn't change that.

What to say; I think that the technician of the ASP should run tests to check what's wrong or what cause this I think it is question of s mobo.

  • Satellite L500D - always get the system configuration

Hi, I'm trying to get my new laptop of wifes of configure. It's a L500D.

I chose 64-bit and all I get now is system configuration. Then it will come in saying we need restart to install the drivers? has been doing this for about 30 minutes now, is there somethig wrong or is this normal?

It's the 10th time, it has gone and done that.

    Hi Ryan,

I have the same Satellite L500 which is similar to yours and that of s. The laptop restarts often enough until the installation is complete. That s not unusual, it is necessary to install all drivers and tools you need.

So I hope you didn t stop or cancel this installation. Just wait a little longer and during this procedure, you can drink coffee and watch TV! ;)

  • Re: Satellite L850 - Toshiba system settings utlity starts with error message

    Hello

I had this problem for months and I'm sick and tired with her...
Whenever I try to start the configuration utility, I get the following message: Please install Toshiba system driver first.

I have all the drivers, and they are all to date. I use Windows 8 on my Toshiba Satellite L850 1kt. I also tried on Windows 8.1 and it has the same problem. In addition, it is impossible to uninstall the system configuration utility, it gives me the following message: Setup has intterupted.
    Andrew

Stand by. According to specification for laptop, your laptop has been offered with Win8 pre-installed 64 bit. When used with the factory settings, everything should be OK.
    > I use Windows 8 on my Toshiba Satellite L850 1kt.
Do you use original Win8 that you got with your laptop or your own version? Original version is tested and should work properly. Have you changed anything or removed from the system?

Reinstall if possible original version of the OS (recovery image) and I m sure that everything will be OK.

  • Satellite T110-107 - Reboot does not work properly

When the power button is pushed to the power and wireless lights, fan whirs a minute then nothing more happens. If I remove the battery and leave it for 30 minutes then it starts fine when you push the power button. Currently abroad, but have access to the internet.

    Running Windows 7.

    Suggestions welcome!

    Hey Buddy,

Since when did you notice this problem and have changed something on the hardware configuration?

It is difficult to say why it happens but it must be a hardware problem, you still have it installed the newer version of the BIOS for Satellite T110? You can download it from the official website of Toshiba:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But before you start the update, close all running programs (also AntiVirus and firewall).

  • Satellite T110 - WLan connection has recently stopped working

I have a Toshiba Satellite T110 with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Wireless has recently stopped working with the yellow exclamation mark showing above the symbol of the unit.

Looking at the pilot management screen, the following message appears.

"This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

Nothing I have tried seems to shake this error.
I tried the Toshiba assist diagnostic tool. It simply says that the wireless connection failed his test.

I don't know how problem was that the system worked for about three weeks, without a hitch, but I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this problem.

I could try a rebuild, but I prefer not to lose my OS.

    > "This device does not work properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) »

I think that there is a simple solution; error message is clear enough; It is said that the driver cannot be loaded this means something has happened to the Wlan driver
In my opinion you should visit the European driver of Toshiba page and should download and reinstall Wlan driver again!

  • Satellite T110 - 10K do not access D.Link, DIR-635 router

Despite the fact that my laptop at home is excellent work and have access to a Zyxel wireless router constantly, I can't access the DIR-635. I recognize the router, enter the network acess code but after hard try reports: "it is not possible to access the network xxxxxxxx."
I've updated the driver software on my Satellite T110 - 10K, but I stll unsuccessful.
    Can anyone help?

    > Despite the fact that my computer laptop at home is excellent work and have constant access to a Zyxel wireless router I can't seem to access the DIR-635

This means that there is no problem with the laptop or WLan driver because you are able to connect to my Zyxel router!

I think you should check the configuration of the other router DIR-635
Check the encryption settings, ssid (wireless network name), the type of encryption, filtering by mac address, channel WiFi (my router uses channel 11)

  • Satellite T110-121 - slow wireless connectivity

Hi there, hope someone can help me.

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite [T110-121 | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/product/Satellite-T110-121/1080681/toshibaShop/false/] laptop and it's absolutely great in every way, but it connects to my router wireless less than 512 Kbps.

I have an another Toshiba laptop, I am about to sell ([U30013U | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=UK&com.broadvis ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 137279]) and the wireless speed is normally around 15mbps. All other laptops that were already connected to my wireless router are normally not less than 15mbps.

The T110-121 is super fast when it is connected through ethernet, therefore, the problem lies only in the part things wireless.
My router is a netgear dg834g, and I'm on DSL of the Virgin.

The only major difference between my two laptops from Toshiba is the new are listed as being supported network: 802.11b/g/n connectivity and my oldest with the connection the faster is listed as: a/b/g. This would make much difference?

I should also add that I removed all potentially problematic pre-installed software, such as Mcafee and I use Avast.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

There is a difference between simple standards of WLan 802.11 A, B, G or N.
If your router supports 802.11 G or N then I would recommend choosing 802.11 N Router and the settings of the Wlan because the 802.11 standard card standard is the fastest and the most recent.

Please check if the wireless network card is configured properly. You can do this in-Wlan card-> Advanced tab > Device Manager.
You could improve also the unique parameters and performance of WLan.

Last but not least, please check the Windows 7 power management because the WLan performance might be decreased in for safe battery power.

An update of the WLan driver should be judged as well.

  • Satellite T110-107 restore win7 after replacing hard drive

I am now out of UK to work, won't be back in a few years

I had problems with my hardrive to the satellite T110-107 and unable to start my laptop
So I went to the local repair center of Toshiba and replaced my hardrive
The problem is now I have no operating system in my new hardrive

I am able to restore my previous pre-installed system?
pls pls pls someone tell me?

    Thank you so much!

    Hello

Of course, you can install / recover the computer laptop back to factory settings.
To do this, you will need the drive recovery Toshiba for this device.
This disc can be ordered here:
    http://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

But the Satellite T110 does not seem to be equipped with an internal optical drive.
So, you will need to connect an external USB ODD in order to be able to recover this unit.

You will buy this external USB CD/DVD drive or you would borrow such a device someone

  • Satellite T110-11U - cannot find the router WLAN

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite T110-11U. Have had since February and loved it-fortunately it wireless used throughout the House. Then one day on a month, unless I was in the same room that the wireless router, Wireless does not work. I have 2 other laptops (and iPhone) which still connect wirelessly throughout the House and the garden without problem.
As you can imagine, it was very strange. When I take in the garden, my other laptops are all networks wireless in the region, but my Toshiba can't find any.

Suspecting it was a driver problem, I made sure that the wireless drivers are up-to-date. With no joy, I got the system as it was at the time of purchase (do a complete restoration by interupting, starting and leaving the hard drive to be deleted and reinstalled etc.). Still the same problem. I even changed the rooms in which the router is, and the same problem - the Toshiba cannot find the router unless the router is located a few meters from the laptop.

Until I lose the will to live, can anyone suggest the cause of my problems, or is it time I admitted defeat and brought back to the Comet under warranty (where likely test next to a wireless router and tell me everything is fine!).

    Thank you very much

    Steve.

    Hey Buddy,

Did you check if the wireless network card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager? There may be a yellow exclamation or unknown device. Try also updating the driver WLAN from Toshiba Web site:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

    See all other WLAN routers?
The wireless network card can be activated using a combination of keys FN + F8 and in the BIOS. In the BIOS, you should also load default settings and test again.

  • Satellite T110-10R with Realtek 8187se - connection drops on battery

    Hi my friends,
There is a big problem with my laptop.
    WLAN signal strength: very good
other laptops have these questions in this network.
    Yes, here's my problem:
ca mode, there is no problem with the wireless connection, but on battery mode, my wlan keeps disconnecting connection, disconnection, connection... sometimes, this occurs several times in a single minute! It is quite painful and embarrassing.
This happens with different network wireless, tried different ones - not only my home network
    my system:
Toshiba Satellite T110-10R with Realtek 8187se
    Windows7 64 bit.
here a brief overview on the things I've tried
    -Update BIOS!
    -Update driver!
    -Reinstalled operating system!
    -power options: max performance
-even in all power options, I put a maximum performance for the settings of the wireless adapter, on batteries, too
-Properties of the wlan in Device Manager card, I disabled the option: allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
-in the same window, advanced, active 802.11 d

Well, despite the fact that I have this problem on my home network AND other networks, I tried following things on my router at home:
    -updated firmware update
    -reset the device
-no automatic IP (don't know the correct English term) - that I put on my laptop, too
    -wlan changed to 802.11 b, g, b, and g, also tried wep
WLAN - channel set to auto and not auto, try different channels
-turned off all power saving features

... as you can see, I tried everything I KNOW...
Maybe, you guys have something for me that I didn't...

Well, hopefully, someone can help me with this problem...

    > ca mode, there is no problem with the wireless connection, but on battery mode, my wlan keeps disconnecting connection, disconnection, linking

According to my experience, this has something to do with the old driver and power saving.
Depending on your message, this happens only in battery mode. So in my eyes, he pilots s/issue of energy saving

    I found some interesting documents:
+ Wireless network card not working anymore after the change from AC to battery mode power +.
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB12033K0001R01.htm

+ Wireless network connection disconnects when the AC adapter is removed. +
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB12033H0001R01.htm

The second doc recommends updating the driver Realtek WLan may be, you can also try a page from Realtek.

  • Satellite T110-11U looking for WLAN Driver

    Hi all

In the traditional way, I joined the forum because I have a problem, but was unable to find a useful solution.

I have a Satellite T110-11U I bought years while in the United Kingdom. As I'm about to upgrade I'm about to give to a friend who is currently irrelevant.

The original HHD gave a time there is forcing to adapt again and load Win7 64 bit independently. I want to say I have to reload discs, but they never work!

I loaded all the latest drivers, but the WIFI driver does not work. From Toshiba Web site says I need a driver for Intel (wlesslan-20150928095045), but I'm sure it's a realtech interface.

I connected the laptop to the internet via the LAN interface and did a search in the Device Manager. Nothing. Still shows the "other devices".

Can anyone share a link to the driver that I need or offer any practice, but not too much technical advice as to what I can do.

    Thank you

    Ady

    Ok

    I finally found here:
