  There is unfortunately no way to use both headphones and speakers at the same time. This is because tghere's a disconnection physical power for the internal speakers when you plug in the headphones. It is not by software. The only way around this would be to dismantle the headphones Jack and solder connections that are broken when you insert the headphone permanently.

  I recently bought a Satellite U200-115 and have a quick question. I was typing earlier today and I accidentally eliminated one of the keys to its position. I then spent the last 3 hours trying to attach it to the laptop.

  I was just wondering if the mechanism of how the keys are placed on the base of the keyboard has a special technique to be applied on the keyboard?

  The key is divided into three parts, and it looks like not to I broke one of these parts but im having rear attatching boredom. I would be grateful for any help you are able to provide.

  AFAIK there is no special technique. You simply press plastic key. It will click and the key will be placed as before.

  I agree with the user above. Not all Satellite A350 models support a second HDD. The point is that laptops are country specific products and this feature is not available everywhere. In addition, all models A350 by using the same notebook case in order to have a crack but no connector.

  Hey Buddy,

  Good idea you have unfortunately it of not possible to use 3 monitors at the same time. You can use the internal monitor and an external monitor but not the two external monitors. This is not supported in the graphics card.

  Then, you use internal monitor, VGA connection or internal monitor + HDMI connection. That s what you can do.

  The HDDrecovery usable only if you are able to access the Windows Advanced Boot menu. There is an option called fix my computer which will start the Toshiba HDDrecovery.

• Satellite U200-122: Fingerprint Software does not work properly with Firefox

  When I first installed Firefox on my U200-122, everything worked fine. Connection to different sites by fingerprint has been problem free.

  After an update of firefox, the problems started. Rather than fill my username and pw, fingerprints of popups software and asks if I want to register for the site (which I did well before).

  Established since Fingerprint FF 2.0.0.6 ist is correctly installed. If I remove this configuration FF, get out, restart the installation, and come back in FF, it everything works fine... until the next reboot. I tried to install the latest version of the software of fingerprint - did not help.

  There are two reasons why your favorite external resolution is not available:
  (1) the chip graphic card does not support this
  (2) or the graphics card driver does not contain this resolution.

  In your user manual, you can find all the external resolution supported and available
  But I guess that the 1920 x 1080 is not taken in charge

  The graphics driver does not include the resolution you want to choose and so you cannot select it!

  I have a portable Satellite L850-1v0.
  My monitor is an A.c.e.r X233H
  Windows 8

  I have the setting 'Disable the display' 5 minutes.

  However, when the laptop off the screen I get a small box that bounces around the screen stating "Cable not connected". The monitor is connected via the VGA port.

  If I connect the monitor to my other machine it turns off fine and do not show this message.

  The message appears because the signal to the external display was interrupted because of the setting: turn the display off.

  I have laptop Dell XPS L702X and you want to connect two monitors external to it when I'm at my desk.  The laptop has a HDMI and display Port.  Could someone tell me 1) if it is possible to connect two external monitors to my laptop.  I do not know if this is supported.  (2) if it is supported what would be the best way to do it.  Here are some of my thoughts, but I don't know if they will work

  (1) port HDMI to a monitor and Display Port to the other monitor.  It will even work?  The monitors will look the same?

  (2) HDMI to DVI Splitter.  This seems reasonable but it will reflect the entire screen or I will be able to extend the desktop.  I don't want to see the same thing on both monitors.  Will also be this gradient.  I was kind of hoping it Full HD that I don't need absolutely.

  Well I thought about it.  Option #1 work.  You can connect two monitors to the Dell XPS L702X.  In fact, I have three.

  (1) the computer screen

  (2) monitor 1 using the HDMI output on laptop to the HDMI input on the monitor

  (3) 2 of Montor output using Mini Display Port to VGA input on screen (using a Mini Display Port to VGA cable) I see these cables everywhere on the internet, but they all say to use with Mac.  I call the Dell technical support and they managed to send me the right cable for use with Dell.  Others may work, however, I'm not sure.  It is unfortunate that Dell doesn't have a Mini Display Port to DVI - D.  I want conversion back VGA is going back in time.  The display seems perfect for a regular job but don't know about the movies or games.

  Complaints to Dell if someone he cares

  (2) I finally decided to call Dell technical support.  I should have done this earlier, but every time I call the technical support they want me to pay.  Fortunately I get assistance for a new computer.  I'm starting to feel better Dell again.  Technical support told me that I could connect two monitors using HDMI and Display Port.   They me even a cable for the display port.  OK, I'm getting happier.  However, technical support also told me that I couldn't use 3 screens and that I would need an external video card.  They tried to repel the horribly rated usb docking station that they sell.  In all of the right specifications mine but reviews everyone has problems.  Anyway they Support went above and beyond (and I was not screaming or complain to them) that they actually had a technician out the cable.  Now, it is an exaggeration, but was really nice, because I was not happy with Dell for the moment.  I hooked the two monitors and extended my screen and to my surprise, all three screens worked.  Yahoo!  So happy.

  It was a frustrating race with bad information throughout, but ultimately, I'm happy.  I hope that you don't have to go through my frustration and make just the satisfaction of having 3 screens.
