Satellite Z830-10J stucks in a loop of the installation

Hello

I need help... I have a new Z830-10J. During the first
configuration of the laptop crashed and restarted. I always get
the error

"The computer restarted unexpectedly or met."
an unexpected error. Windows Setup cannot continue. To install
Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer and then restart the installation. »

After the reboot, I get the same error again and again... Pressing F8 does not bring
repair options. Each option (Safe Mode, debugging and so on) doesn't lead only to the
same mistake.

What can I do?

Best regards
Markus

Meanwhile, I have a bootable USB key with win7, but the
RepairOptions can't find a backup to fix... but I see
3 partiions, besides that theres a normal system backup and
a boot partition.

Edit:
Im going to download the demo version of Win 7 Home Premium and
will install this one. Don't you think that I am able to 'restore' the system
After installation? Otherwise the whole software of tohsiba
is lost :(

  • Noise of fan on Satellite Z830-10J

    Hello

I just bought the Toshiba Satellite Z830 - 10J and am very surprised by the loud fan noise!

I read on other forums that the sound could be stronger depending on the device or that an update of the BIOS might help slow down the activity of the fan when the laptop is running idle. Anyone know if there is a cure for the fan noise?

For me, it's really impossible to work with such a current noise!

    Thank you for your help.

At the time don t think about upgrading the BIOS.
What you should try is first of all the settings of cooling method.

Open the power profile that you use (probably balanced) > Advanced Power options > Toshiba Power Saver Settings > cooling method and change the two optimized battery options.

It should reduce the activity of fan cooling.

  • Satellite Z830-10J battery discharge when the system is shut down

My new Toshiba Satellite Z830 10J ultrabook with Win7 64 bit. all updates, works fine and shows no anomaly, there is however a strange exception.

When the battery is completely charded and I 'pull the plug', the system runs on the battery for sometimes more than 5 hours, so I guess that the cycle of the battery is ok.

When the battery is now fully charged again and I SHUT down the system and not using it for a few days.
Then the battery is completely DISCHARGED to 0%, and the system does not start, until I plug.

This phenomenon occurs in less than a week. So: loading of the batrery 100%, turn the system off, pull the plug, want to re - use the system after 7 days, yields 0% battery charge.

Is there a specific reason for this?

    Great! Thanks for the comments!

  • Re: Satellite Z830-10j - which driver should I for blocking touchpad?

I installed my new Satellite Z830-10j. No recovery or other. Clean fresh new windows. Seems to me that all drivers were forund by Windows. But I can't restore the driver or software for this little button above the touchpad. It is the button to block the touchpad in the case where you write a lot about the keyboard.

    You have an idea?

    > I have installed my new Satellite Z830-10j.
Out of curiosity, but why you did that? What is the reason for this? I mean you've had perfectly configured and don t working well the OS and I understand the people who do this.
Did you create recovery media until you have installed the version of the OS?

In any case, I assume that you lack Toshiba Value added package.

  • No external boot on Satellite Z830-10J - SOLUTION

After changing the options in the BIOS, I'm on this forum and found a solution, which does not work for me.

The book u refuses everything I tried booting. USB and DVD - key in each port, BIOS everything that can be changed.

Finally, I forgot the USB-2, 5 - HD to make a connection before resetting and: Yes, it works. Acronis initialized drives, so I can join, once the Satellite is committed to start the external device.

The other thread was closed, although my solution is not mentioned. That's why I created this one.

I U940 satellite without optical disk driver and construction of my laptop is quite similar to your Satellite Z830.
I had my machine with pre-installed Win8. After the creation of recovery media (USB), I used my original external USB ODD to install my own Win7 64 bit version using the installation disc of Microsoft.
Charge after driver SATA I ve installed Windows successfully. External USB ODD has been properly recognized and everything worked OK.

The only thing I've changed was secure boot option in the BIOS.

In any case, thank you for your ad.

  • Satellite A300-1RZ - stucks Windows 7 upgrade on the first step of the installation

    Hi all

I'm Italian, I an A300 Satellite with Vista Home Premium I paid 30 euros for the free upgrade to Windows 7, which reached my House yesterday. I got 2 DVD:
-1 to 'prepare' my phone: * TOSHIBA UPGRADE DVD *.
-1 upgrade operating system: * WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM UPGRADE DVD *.

+ The first step: + use the first DVD: all right, "the system is ready to install Windows 7, insert the second dvd. When I insert the other, I accept the license and after that, the first step of the installation: * "check system compatibility."
    * These steps is my problem.*

I reworded more than 10 times the praxis but it blocks at this stage, I left the laptop at this stage, throughout the night, but today morning she was always there, no progress, it is clear that there is a problem, but I do not understand if it depends on my cell phone or on the DVD.

I tried to boot the laptop with Windows 7 DVD inside, start the system by the DVD, but it ask me to format the partition where are the files of vista and is not an upgrade. I bought an upgrade just do not remove previous programs and do not format the first partition of the drive of my laptop.

How do, which can, I turn to?
Does anyone have the same problem?
    Does anyone know to escape?

    thanx 4 your answers

    A Dread

    Hi a Dread

That s strange because I didn't have a problem with my Toshiba upgrade disk. Everything worked fine! :)

I put t know if you read this, but here's an update statement step by step:

As you can read before the upgrade, you need to remove some programs if they are installed on your computer.

  • Satellite A300-15 a does not start after the installation of the alcohol program

    Hello...

Satellite A300-15 has, I bought yesterday and after completing the installation of Vista, I tried to install "Alcohol" but my judgment of the laptop and now I'm not able to boot up the laptop.
It does not start in any mode.

I forgot to make recovery disks. I think that alcohol is not compatible with Vista. Error I get is below.

Can someone tell me the solution?
    Please help urgent

"A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: blah blah... "

Looks like a problem familiar to me, as I had the same one with the Daemon tools. After installing these tools, I couldn't start my Windows XP. I guess that it somehow mixed upwards of some drivers or registry entries, but not sure about that.

OK, you can try to uninstall tool first start Vista in safe mode (press F8 before Windows starts upward).
You should then be able to enter in Vista without problem.

  • Stuck on "Checking system" during the installation of the driver. J4580 all-in - One Printer, Windows 8 64-bit

    Hi all

I have no idea why it doesn't work. For always remains in stage "verification system. There is no bar of progression, just an of these in loop task bars, so I can't say if something is really installation. Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Thank you!

    Janek

    Hello again,

I followed the steps and even once, it did not work. However, I found a solution

I tried to install the software after I cleaned the temp folder and did a clean boot, but the same questions redoubled. I opened the Task Manager and I force closed "HP Installer re-install Plug In (32 bit). This caused an error that caused the installer to uninstall/delete anything on my computer. When I tried to install the software after that, it worked. Clearly there is something already on the system at the origin of a problem.

    Thanks again for your help!

  • Satellite L675 is stuck in a loop of "system configuration".

I have a Satellite L675 pre-loaded with Windows7 64-bit, because it was very slow, so I decided to recovere it at the default out-of-box factory.
But he was now locked in a loop of "system configuration" with several reboots during more than an hour - that makes any sense?

    Kind regards

If the recovery procedure is not in the end it makes sense. Recovery procedure may take up to 2 hours.
Any donation interruption t installation and wait for that configuration and recovery image installation will be completed.

  • Satellite P500-190 stuck in a loop

Well, I try to summarize what has happened so far.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P500-190 has started acting as each task is too big for him, constantly showing disk hard loading, programs did not respond for a while... then I ran the reconverty tool, reset the c drive, the problem still there.

I ran all the error detection of characteristics of pc, no hardware problems or software detected. So I installed malwarebytes anti-malware and ran a scan, it finds errors, but before I could act, the program froze again no response. Press ctrl alt del, black screen, no response... reboot. Now my dosent pc even trying to start windows, only error detection program and each restart goes like this, even after going through the program as it is said.
I tried to get to the other menus of repair, but it says I must be logged in to do this.

    Any ideas how to continue?

    Hi bug

Please reinstall the recovery image and boot OS without having to install additional stuff.
Do not connect to the internet and check the functionality. Open some pre-installed apps and see if they will not work correctly.

Play around with these factory settings and let us know if there is a problem.

  • My Satellite Z830-10J is extremely wobbly

Since I started using my ultrabook, it's very wobbly.
While I'm typing random texts he keeps flickering and it's incredibly annoying.

Place a piece of paper under the angle front folded left solves the problem, but this isn't a stable solution.
The strange thing is that the continuous problem occur, no matter where I use my ultrabook
(this isn't on the surface I normally work, since he's been on hundreds of different tables at the University Library).

At first, I thought I would get used to, but lately, I feel like hopping has been getting worse.

How can I fix or can Toshiba fix this?

What Satellite Z Ultrabook do you mean exactly?

    According to you the question:
    > How can I fix or can Toshiba fix this?

Don t know if you can fix it, you can check if the flaps at the bottom of the device are placed correctly, but I think that if there is something wrong with the cover of s for laptop, the Toshiba service should check it out.

  • Speakers satellite Z830 - 10 M is turned off when the lid is closed

    Hello

I'm running a Z830 - 10 M with an external monitor. I want to close the lid of the portable computer, but use the internal speakers, but when I close the lid, the speakers will cease to resound!

    How can I fix it?

    Thank you.

I guess that your laptop goes into mode standby when the lid is closed.
    Right?

In this case, you must set the option to choose what closing the lid does nothing to

This can be found in the control panel-> Power Options-> in the left column
