Save a photo used to file E-mail open on desktop

I just reinstalled windows8. When you save a picture of an incoming e-mail. I have save it and stick it on my desk. I can't open it. a box comes up saying windows cannot open the file. Noah he gived me two choices. 1 research programs that will open the file. 2. use the default windows service. Or we do something. If I click with the right button on the file on the desktop and try 'open with' I get the same message. I tried to attach the file to this document and to receive a message that says "error loading invalid or no image received."

Matt, thanks for your help, when I read your response, I started going on brand new. What I found, it was, the picture in the mail does not open, but when I went to another email and saved the image, its opening without problem. I think that the problem was in the original file from e-mail, it may be corrupted somehow. Everything seems to work right now. Once again thank you for taking the time to help.

  • Save to PNG using IMAQ file write file does not save good Gray Scale

Hi - I have a simple VI which reads a raw U16 file and then try to save the option IMAQ write PNG file (because I want the 16-bit format).

I defined a custom color table which is just opposite of gray, and this is applied to the image.

The Image displays properly, but saves the PNG file with non-inverted grayscale.

    U16 RAW file is titled "Martha 1849-02-001-6 - view0000_raw_grey_16bit.raw' and sent to ftp://ftp.ni.com/incoming. "

How is it and how do we get this working correctly?

    Thank you

No! your custom color table to display the images, not apply to the image.

In additional, it cannot save the palette as well as the 16-bit image. The pallet can be stored with 8-bit 'indexed' image.

What you can do - if you need just reverse gray, use IMAQ opposite to calculate the negative value of an image.

  • Not able to use the Handle returned by open with LockFileEx

    Hello

I try to use the file returned by open handle to lock the file using the Windows SDK LockFileEx function. It gives me an error like invalid handler. PL suggest me the solution.

    Kind regards

You use a SDK function to open the file? The ANSI fopen() function handle or CVI OpenFile() functions won't work - you need to handle SDK function.

  • Help using 'save in the series of files (several files).

    Hello

    My name is Daniel R.

I am a student doing research internship and was put on a project using LabView (with no experience using Labview).

I'm using LabView student 2013 version 13.0 edition.

Now the VI I created is to get data from a PMT using a Rigol DS1204B connected to Labview.

The problem that arises has been save to a series of files (saving automatically). I intend to take at least 1000 tracks and naming manually, each is not very effective. I have my VI attached, if someone kindly took a peek. I suspect that the problem is her 'write as leader' in the block diagram. I put the option "Save in the series of files", however, when I double click on the "Write to the measure" box, I see that 'Save in a one file' is selected, and after a second, it automatically converts the option 'save in the series.

I did not have enough experience about why he wants me to name each file, so I'm tender hand for help.

Advice or improvements on my VI is also appreciated.

    Thank you

    Daniel R.

  • Save the photos in an e-mail message from an Apple device.

When someone sends me an email with pictures displayed in the e-mail, not as an attachment (usually an Apple device) I can't back up or do something with them, except the copy - but where do they go in windows when you copy them.  You are not prompted to save anywhere and I can't find them.

When you right click on the image what options do you have. In my case I'm getting that copy, after selecting that I then open Paint and select Paste and the image is in the Paint window.

From there, I can choose it Save (save as) and change the file format, record the location and name.

Hello, if I update to creative cloud other members of my team on CS5 will be able to access and use my files until I save as IDML?

They will be able to open your files, but is not a long-term viable work flow.

Features specific to newer versions will be lost or flattened when they open files, reflow of text is possible and even probable in both senses.

A durable workflow requires that you all on the same version.

Question: Mac 'Photo' stores all the photos in a single folder and access this file level understand I'm going to Show Package Contents > Masters after a right-click on the photo library.

Then, you can view all the files.

    Step 1

Is the best way to reach above it hang out in mac external drive 'Photos', I created via the Finder?

    Step 2

Then delete the files in the directory of Masters or the photo library

Never make changes to the internal structure of the iPhoto or the library of Photos with the Finder or any other app ever.

To do what you want to do first export the images of Photos:

    File-> Export

and send them to your favorite place.

Subsequently, remove them from the library using the library interface.

    This trick of the user

    https://discussions.Apple.com/docs/doc-4921

a details of the options in the iPhoto export dialog. In a few minor differences, the options of Photos are the same.

That said, these are the images also on the iCloud library? Because if that will complicate things greatly. In addition, what you will lose the functionality of non-destructive editing. Better to save the images in a library of Photos and keep all of your options.

You can do this in several ways - split the existing library or create a new one and hover over the images. There are different ways to do it depending on what you choose.

Alternatively, simply move the entire library to an external.

  • With Photos I can no longer share photos using Microsoft Outlook. Why?

Using iPhoto we went to the file and click on sharing. My photo/s would go to my Microsoft Outlook mail as an attachment. No problem.

With Photos vs, 1.2 apparently Mail is the only option to share photos. How can I share Microsoft Outlook?

To be able to share Outlook, it must provide an extension of application for sharing by mail. Apple Mail has such an extension, but the version of Outlook I have installed (version 15.13.4), does not provide a menu app extension share, and therefore it is not possible to use it for sending photos directly from Photos.  I don't know if the new version of Outlook includes an update to the app extensions.

  • Why attached used pps files opened after the latest Automatic update of the ie8?

Attn: Microsoft Brainiacs; IT IS VERY ANNOYING!
attached pps files won't open if clicked in outlook express/ie8 after automatic update more recent.
When I try to open files pps attached, this is what I get.
    a box with a red x will appear and this is the message;
"this file has no program associated with it for performing this action.
Create an association in the FOLDER OPTIONS Control Panel."

Before the automatic update, this function worked fine.
Also, the association for pps files is still there in the Folder Options Control Panel.
and more if I save the pps file attached somewhere / anywhere and then click on it, it opens fine.
.. This failure to launch opening pps files attached, that happened after the latest Automatic update,
.. just one more why people hate automatic updates or updates of any kind.
like the previous functions of work suddenly and inexplicapbly no longer work after the update took place!

  • When open my photo album file and clicking on a photo to see the excel program opens the image viewer.

I open an email with pictures.  When I click on the photo attached to the view, the excel program opens and not the image viewer.

One of photo accessories save somewhere you can find it (for example, your desktop computer).
Right-click on the file that you saved and select open with, then select "Choose program" (at the bottom of the context menu).

If the program you want to use is listed as one of the "recommended programs", select it, click on the box to "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and click OK.

If you want to use the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer to view photos (personally, I like free IrfanView better) AND it is NOT listed as a program "recommended" or under "Other programs", follow the instructions below:

    in Windows Explorer:

    • On the Tools menu, click folder... Options
    • Click the File Types tab.
    • Scroll down to the extension that you like, for example "JPG".
    • Press the restore button, if it exists.
    • Press the Advanced button.
    • Click the Open action.
    • Click on change...
    • In the Application used to perform action: enter C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\shimgvw.dll,ImageView_Fullscreen %1. "C:\WINDOWS" is the directory that contains your Windows installation.
    • Press OK

You'll want to repeat for each extension (GIF, JPG, JPEG, etc.) for which you want to change the behavior.

  • How can I eliminate the photo appear on the Windows Mail page when I attach it on email?

Using Windows Vista.  When I send a mail with attachment (file, photo, etc.), file or page, photos usually appear on the e-mail page,

with very large size. How can I eliminate to appear?
The short answer is you can't. Like Outlook Express and many other mail clients, when you join a photo, a copy shows after the text of the message. If you set read all messages in plain text, you won't see the copy, but you can't control how the recipient will see it. The only sure way to not show is put ii in a zipped folder and attach that.
  • When I get an email, according to windowsmail with attachments, I can't file attachments by using the file command menu

original title: impossible to file attachments in mail

Hello; I'm with family Vista premium and windows mail as a messaging system. I was with IE8, and now I've migrated to IE9.

When I get an email, under windowsmail with attachments, I can't file attachments by using the file command menu. This option is blocked. Under windows mail, I went to tools, options, security and made sure that: Let not the attachments which are unsecured... box be deselected. It makes no difference, and I still can't save attachment like this; I CAN SAVE BY CLICKING and opening the attachment and save it but it is not satisfactory that I can't save the attachment by using the file command menu.

    Can you help me please?

IE9 is certainly the culprit and there is more questions. I know that some MVPs have contacted their MS threads about it and even received no answer.

My guess is that MS will not address this issue. Do not forget that the development team of Windows Mail is dissolved by the MS in June 2006. (Yes, while Vista was still in beta). I seriously doubt they care.
