  Marcelo,

  to make it quite clear, Lightroom can't sync between two desktop computers. It can synchronize between only one computer and one or more mobile devices. Synchronization between computers has been a very requested feature, but Adobe has not given us yet. You will need to designate one of your computers as your main machine mounting and synchronization here. There are tricks to get all changes from one computer to another in phase, but these are not negligible and may corrupt catalog if you're not careful.

  I had a huge task I'd like to simplify with a bit of Applescript.

  Basically, I would like to move or copy a lot of files in a new folder structure.

  I have a few different folders with all 500-4000 jpg, see image below.

  First picture shows the old structure, 2nd picture show the new structure I would accomplish.

  

  I want to do is have a script to loop through and take the first 4 characters of the file name and create a folder with that name in the location of my choice.

  Then, create a new folder in the parent called JPEG folder and copy all of the files with the same name specific to this folder.

  So far, I've been able to automate the creation of folders and subfolders.

  You could try the AppleScript script which is a simple bash script wrapper.

  It will allow you to choose the source directories and destination and then analyze the source for jpeg files tree and copy the jpeg file with name starting with excatly 4 digits IJKL to the correspondent-I000/IJKL directory in the destination. In the destination path directories are created as it should. For example, your screenshots, you can choose the folder '7000-8000' or its parent directory in the source directory and the "OBJECTS" folder as the destination directory.

  Any jpeg file which doesn't have a name starting with exactly 4 digits is ignored. Verbose output of the CP (1) and any errors will appear in the result pane / window (Apple Apple) Script Editor.

  Briefly tested under OS X 10.6.8 but no guarantee of any kind. Please make sure that you have a full backup of the original directories before running this kind of script.

• CMD never opens and copy files, and then close by itself under normal circumstances?

  I played guild wars 2 and all the guest suddenly opens and then closes. a few minutes later, it opens again and copy the 2 files then closes. is this normal or part of any benevolent known subprogramme?

  Recently, my photoshop CS5 played upward and often when I try to save files it will freeze to the point of crash and clicking on ok. Today too it crashed when I tried to open a photoshop file.

  It's very frustrating because I'm a graphic designer and trying to complete an urgent task, but I suck because anything I do is save and I have to keep starting over. It is literally broke down about 40 when the day is over and I lose so many hours that I just haven't.

  Please help me, it came out not the case and needs to be repaired emergency.

  Yes, you're crashing on a good bug known to MacOS.

  Apple is still working on a fix.

  But in the meantime, go run disk utility and repair your disks - which must repair the disk of the data structures and avoid the bug.

  For my flex app, I want my client can save their configuration files for display and it can use next time. So there must be a pop-up window to show file names and promte a user window between the name of the file.
  
  I know there are two possible ways to do this:
  First, save the file to the web service and then download on the local machine and vice versa, download the file to the web service and the flex application then read these web service configuration files.
  
  I don't know if this method will expose more information about our server or not. Just that I'm not sure that the question of security in this way.
  
  Second, simply save all the files for the web service based on the user name, and then I use popUpManager to create two popup windows to interact with users in order to get the name of the file.
  
  It will cost space on the server if there are too many users. In fact, I read a post on this forum stressed the PopUpManager.removePopUp () method cannot release memory properly.

  If I apply that I would like to send data to the server to save it and the request from the server the next time the application starts. This makes your application a much truer 'web' application, because the user can return to their work from any computer. If you download the file, you will not be able to read in the Flash Player - you will only have to upload to the server and then the request of the player, so there is no real point to that.

  In other words, there are really only one option: send to the server to save the data, reading from the server to get it back. I think that a server would be gigabytes of space; How big can your data be?

• How can I save and copy or move individual emails and maintain their "Date received" Informaion "Date sent"?

  I frequently need to find an old email and used to achieve this by sorting the email in Windows Explorer by their 'Date '. Slip / deposit via Outlook does not retain the "receiving" and/or data "Date sent", but Live Mail does.   A. click Start, type in diskmgmt.msc search box and check if you're able to drive E: see.

  ·        What is the exact error message that you experience when the system hangs during the installation?

  I suggest you to disconnect all external devices that are connected to the system such as (printers, scanners, etc.) and see if the problem is resolved.

  This occurs mainly, if the system (hardware or software) is not compatible with the operating system that you are trying to install on the system. I suggest you to format the partition in which you try to install Windows Vista, and then check if you are able to install the operating system or not.

  UTL_TCP provides a tcp socket interface client. This can be used as an FTP client. Utl_http provides a web browser client-the box of files can also be sent by e-mail with UTL_SMTP and UTL_MAIL.

  You should also ask if the code from PL/SQL Server acting as a client to push a file to a server, adapts the architecture of the application at hand.

  Your code is loaded in 5 x 3 is because two of your cells have newline characters (\n). The reading of the worksheet VI use return or line break characters and your delimiter to figure out how to split the string into an array.

  A solution might be to replace all characters from end of line with something else, and then reinsert it after reading of the worksheet.

  It can do what you want, even if it's a bit bulky. It's a little confusing if you don't understand "------" string formatting, but it essntially replaces all '\r' and '\n' with '\\r' and '\\n', including the conversion of the worksheet does not read as an end of line character.

  Background intelligent transfer service has been my problem.

  Changed to manual/stopped.

  Win 7 slow, moving and copying files, all fixed.

  Update - BITS was not the problem. Do not disable.

  After a new installation on a new HARD drive, I had the same problems.

  I have an ATI FireGL v5600 graphics card. After I have updated to Feb. 2012 pilot, NO more problems.

  I have long suspected that the graphics card was the problem. Problem solved for me.

  Best advice: update all drivers as soon as possible.
