  I created a panel that is filled with project allowing a user specific information.

  I want to save this information as well as the project and read it again to repopulate the Panel when the project is reloaded.

  You'll want to keep it without doubt in the dictionary of the document by using AIDocumentSuite::GetDictionary (). If you are not familiar with dictionaries, learn about them and watch AIDictionary.h. They are fairly easy to use.

  You probably want to just write the information in a document, save and fill initially dependent. To do this, you'll want to notifiers kAIDocumentOpenedNotifier & kAIDocumentWritePreprocessNotifier (in AIDocument.h).

  What?  Can you please rephrase your question in order to understand what you're asking?

  If you ask how a file on the remote site via FTP without FTPing any dependent files?  That the answer is Yes, you can do this by changing the SITE > dependent files: option in the PREFERENCES to enable the option "prompt on put/check-in."  The next time you download a file, you will be asked if you want to also download dependent files.  If you say NO and check the don't ask again option, then you will always simply load the file and not the dependents. You can change it back at any time by changing the preferences of this setting.

• Move a clip back to the Panel "organize."

  PE9 bought two days ago.  It is installed and running on my iMac w/Mac OS 10.6.4.  I have some old home movies that have been converted from 8mm to < .mov > files.  The files are .mov > important PE9 organize panel OK, no problem.  The clip resulting (large - about 1 hour 30 minutes) can be moved down to the timeline and I work it in the timeline panel.  All goes well until then.

  Because I shot a variety of scenes at different times, with different themes I must necessarily divide the clip into several small clips.  By doing this I am able to separate the resulting from several clips preparatory to create their own individual film, IE my home theater can be connected between them, and my daughter family photos I would separate and then connect them together for their own film.  This is done easily using iMovie by moving the clips back up to the equivalent of the Panel organize so that they can be used later to create their own film.  However, I find that PE9 does not allow me to move mounting clips or save the Panel organize.  It's my problem.  What I am doing wrong?  What is a normal feature of PE9?

  Moving clips between the chronology/timeline save the Panel organize, it was simple and easy with iMovie.  Still, what I am doing wrong?

  I'm sorry you "broke down." Obviously I didn't explain better, but that's how PE9 would work for the example you gave me

  Select all the files in the Organizer PE9 and drag all the files on the timeline.

  Mark the entry points and clips from your family you want not to include in the first film

  Dragging in IMovie are the same as the PE9 deletion. Nothing is really deleted. It is revealing that the editor will not include them in the film. Just another way to do the same thing.

  If please check, is your Photoshop and Bridge are updated to the latest version.

  In addition, reset the Photoshop preferences default back so if there is no change in the settings of this problem.
