saved file has the wrong timestamp

I have Dreamweaver MX2004 installed on two PCs, both have this problem... (the two Win XP home sp3)... When I save a file with DW time is 2 hours before my system clock. Even if I just upload (FTP) a file with good time... She is replaced to 2 hours in advance. I find this curious y at - it a setting or tweak somewhere? It only occurs with DW.

PLEASE IGNORE MY PREVIOUS ANSWER. THE HIDEOUS JIVE FORUM SOFTWARE ALLOW ME TO CHANGE IT.

Upon further research, it seems logical (not a bug because it works as expected) in the behavior of timestamp in MX 2004 that changed in later versions of DW (from v.8)

http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/400/kb400972.html#how_dw_determines_change

«So that Dreamweaver MX 2004 knew for some distance and local files were identical, Dreamweaver MX 2004 set the local timestamp to match remote timestamp after each put or get.» This led to a question of ease of use, since now, you don't really know when a file has been updated locally. Dreamweaver 8 changes is no longer the local file date/time stamp to match the distance of time after putting / if then it will reflect the local time, when the file last saved. »

I'm afraid I don't see any way to change this behavior without upgrading to CS4. I don't see Adobe issuing a patch for MX 2004, given that the code has been created at the time when Macromedia owned DW.

  • Photoshop saving files in the wrong place

I started using Lightroom, most recently being forced to leave the opening by their lack of support and development.  I have the latest version of CC 2014 of two (5.7.1) LR and PS (2014.2.2), and the operating system is Mac OS X 10.10.2.  When I send an image to Photoshop to be edited, Photoshop saves it in the wrong place when return to LR.  Instead of returning to the same folder that the original came, he returned stepped to the top of the hierarchy and renames it as the record that she was originally (sequence, if tried repeatedly).

For example, if I have a folder system in LR such as:

    2015

    January

    27

    < filename.cr2 > <-original file being transmitted to Photoshop

When I use "Edit in Photoshop" on < filename.cr2 > of LR, when I save the file after modification, using the close box in the window/tab and then clicking on "Save" when the confirmation dialog box appears [edit:] Note: the file name IS correct in the [\Edit] save/Cancel dialog box, the file is incorrectly registered as < 27. psd > in Januaryrecord.  The original file remains in the original location.  for example,.

    2015

    January

< 27. psd > <-new, edited, badly in a subfolder to modify and resave file name

    27

    < filename.cr2 > <-original file still correctly

This prevents also from stacking, because LR doesn't add images not in the same folder.  Repeating attempts end upward with < 27-2.psd >, < 27-3.psd >, < 27-4.psd > etc., all saved a step upward path in the folder of January.  It does not matter if I select the file to change it from the record of 27 , the January file or folder 2015 , he always he did the same thing and returned to a step upward from and named, the folder in which the original file resided.

He seems to be a problem of the PS is not a problem of LR, but I can't yet find a solution I tried each preference, which seems to be in no way affiliated with the backup or a file that controls the behavior in both programs, nothing helps.  I'm sure it's just a problem I have-D-10-T, but I can't find it yet.

Post edited by: edit Ken Lucke added noting that filename is correct all the way up to and including the Save/Cancel dialog box during the closure

The location to save files is your choice. Once set correctly, in the folder you select in LR, it will be always saved there.

In LR open preferences and go to the external publishing tab and down select what you want the edited externally to be named (IIRC the default is to add "-Edit.psd" you can change it to what you want.)

Select an image, a picture, and then click the export button. In the dialog box that appears at the top right and export to: make sure that it is set to HDD, then in the next section, "Place of export" select "same folder as the original picture. You can then select whatever other options you want to export and click the export button (you can delete this image, once this step is completed if you want).

Now when you right click and select Edit in and choose photoshop just click Save icon or Ctrl + s or command + s and not save as. At this time you should not get everything save dialog windows. The file should then be recorded in the original folder, with the name of the file and modify (or whatever you chose as add it to the file name) and stacked with the original, if you selected in the external publishing tab.

  • My incoming mail has the wrong date and time on this subject. How can I fix it?

incoming mail has the wrong date and time when they arrive in my Inbox.

The timestamp on an e-mail comes from two places, time on the mail server settings and the settings of the time on your PC.  This time setting includes the current time, the time zone and setting time summer time.  If one of them is off, the timestamp will be wrong.  You can check on your PC, but not those on the mail server.

import 1 file to the wrong file. How to correct?

First of all, make sure that you have backups of all your photos before doing this.

In Lightroom, drag the folder in the Control Panel folder to the new location of the file where you want it to be.

Another method: in your operating system, COPY (and not move) the photos where you want them to be. then in Lightroom with the right button on the folder and select the folder location of updated and point to the new location of the photos; Once this does not work, delete pictures from their original location using your operating system.

  • Upgrade to MACos Sierra now all my 'saved' go to the wrong folders

I was wondering if someone else has upgraded to the beta version of MacOS Sierra. Now, when I save a file, it goes in the wrong folder.

For example if I have a folder with the 6 files in there:

    Folder 1

    Folder 2

    Folder 3

    Folder 4

    Folder 5

    Folder 6

And I chose to save it in the folder 4. When I go into the folder 4 it isn't here, but if I look in other files, he sometimes recorded on file 2, sometimes 6 file is in the right area, just in the right folder.

    Anyone experience anything like this?

better to demote, still beta beta

  • Why my Acrobat files show the wrong name when it is opened?

This has happened on two different folders in last week (that I actively noticed while working with them). The files are saved and read the hard disk as the name I gave them. When I opened the file to review some information, I have a different name (from a different document) on my window in the bar of tasks and when it is active on the screen.

Because these files are of two types of businesses and organizations, it sounds unprofessional, if I transfer files to my clients without resolving the issue. Please tell me it's something very simple, I'll even take a 'duh!' so I can fix this before I have to send the files.

  • LR updates files in the wrong folder when you import by date

    Hello

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did a quick search, both here and in Google and could not find anything.

I have a new camera (d700 YIPPEE!) and then import files LR4 (with the last update) to help to organize it by date option, the files are put in the wrong folders, for example photos of 22 December will go to 23 December and so on. I checked the date and time on the camera: it's OK (it's also good in the EXIF data).

I don't know if it's something with the camera or with the LR update, because I have them both at the same time - I've ever had this problem before with D200.

    Someone had the same problem?

    Thank you

    Kasia

ETA do not know if it matters, but I'm in Australia, UTC + 10, in which case it is a related issue of time zone

There is a known bug and still not fixed, when import them directly from a camera attached and creating the folders by using one of the models to date Lightroom. This ADDS the time zone bug that is defined in the local system for the real time that the image was taken, then creates the file dated accordingly. So in your case, a picture taken after 1400 local time is placed in a folder with the next days date.

The solution is either to import via card reader (it's only on direct import of the camera who bites the bug), or by copying the files from camera to hard drive before you import it. You can also import like today, but recognize that you need to rename the file after import... which is pretty easy to do.

  • When you rename a file change the last timestamp consulted?

I was in a heated debate with one of my instructors today associated with a test on the access timestamp question when you rename a file. Through my research and testing to rename a file via the command prompt, it does not appear that the process of renaming a file will change the date of that last file access. Access and modify times will change to the directory that contains the file, but not the file itself.  So my understanding is that it is not, however, my instructor insists that it is, can someone shed some light on this topic please?

    2. click on 'Edit' and then on the button 'Add '.
    3. put in your user name in the following box and click on 'OK '.
    4. This will grant access to the folder "System Volume Information" username

Once the Windows CMD appears, type in the following commands:
    CD "C:\System Volume Information.
del "I want to file delete.txt".

Continue the above command for all the files you want to delete.
A good tip is that you can actually drag the files you want to delete in the CMD window to save typing you the full name. Enter del in the CMD followed by a space, and then drag the file that you want to remove in the CMD window and it will automatically add the name of the file for you.

  • Home App has the wrong address for my house

I am creating a location of automation in the Home app on iOS 10. The problem is that this app and only this app, does not show my house to the right place.

My contact card has the right address it and maps shows my house to the correct place. Home app shows a marker a few blocks away and I don't know where he is from this place, because I can't find any way to change the address of a House HomeKit.

In addition, address location automation search does not at all. He suggested addresses in places ranging from nearby towns to the country across the ocean, but nothing for the town that I live.

If this had happened to me, I remove and re-add my house such as described here (bottom):

  • My data file trace the wrong frequencies in MWO

I'm plotting a S parameter file, but frequencies in my chart do not match the frequencies in my file.

Sometimes when you try to plot data files (let's say the measured data) against the results of simulation, you get unexpected results.  This coming do not select the right frequencies to the extent.

When you add a measure to a graph there is a selection of default frequency, but you can replace it.  The extent of dialogue for this field is inside, as shown here:

by pressing on the ' > ' to the right of the Freq Sweep field, you can see that there are two selections of possible frequency for the file for the data file.

    • Document is a list of the frequencies in the actual data file

    • Project is the list of frequencies in the frequency list of the projects and those who most probably used by your schema.

If you try to plot two different measures against each other, you'll want to make sure that you have defined two measures on the same bandwidth.

Another thing to watch if you are using a data file with a small number of frequency inside points is the interpolation method.  We have a knowledge base article that explains how to select an interpolation method and the trade-offs.

  • Saving files to the Web browser

I do a plugin for windows which will save the files locally from PDF files open in the web browser.

I use the code to save my files below

    PDDocSave (pdDoc, PDSaveForceIncremental, ASPathFromPlatformPath)

    char *) lszValueDocPath), ASGetDefaultFileSys(), NULL, NULL);

    here

    (1) pdDoc is a PDF file open in browse

    (2) lszValueDocPath is the path of the local system

The problems that I face are as below

    (1) the code works fine on XP and Vista (UAC off) and it does not work when UAC is enabled

    (2) the browser in which PDF file opens, as IE or Firefox hangs after save the file.

    I'll appriciate help as much.

    Thanks in advance.

You have a lot of questions here...

    (1) you must build the ASPathname elsewhere and NOT online.  You must check for errors (in which case it fails) AND you need to release it after you're done with it.  In addition, you can consider using other methods to do this, since your method will not work for Unicode-based files names.

    2) entry from the local file system browser, you do NOT want an incremental save - evolving to save the simple changes on an existing file, NOT the path to another (aka Save vs. Save As).

    (3) UAC is a property of the OS which is designed to prevent EXACTLY what you are trying to do - move local web content without authorization of the user.  You must obtain the permission of the user (via the appropriate OS calls) in order to elevate permissions to allow this.

Difficulty of these things and you shouldn't have a fall.
