• Saving preset question

  I have a set of steps that I use to create a certain glance at my picture. I use a combination of filters, copying layers 3 - 4 times and styles of layer. I think I have 10 steps.

  Is there a way where I can save it as a preset, then, where if I import a picture, I have to click on the saved preset, and he made all these 10 steps for this photo.

• Reload saved Preset on open

  I hope someone can give me some advice with presets. I am working on some automation/scripting for any libraries and hoped to be able to have the update of PSD files when a registered external change preset. For example, if I have 100 files using an external saved preset, I change the preset, then that will be reflected in the 100 files. By default, it seems that PS detects that the external registered preset has changed, but stick to the pre-selection of origin (attached in Appendix a "(modified)" on behalf of presets).

  I guess it is a solution to this using Photoshop scripts, but I was hoping that there is something cleaner maybe?

  Any help/advice/direction would be greatly appreciated!

  What type of presets are you talking about? Presets like curves? If such is the case, Photoshop loads just the values of the preset curve you or levels, and that's all. It does not associate these values more with the real preset.

  I use PP on my laptop for years, from CS5, CS6 and CC without any problem. Yesterday, I was working on my project current PP CC and all of a sudden, he crashed and after that refused to load any project, showing me this error log: http://i.imgur.com/I6kL3G8.jpg.

  So I advanced and erased all the temporary files, the media places paid and so inexplicable computer, cleaned the registry, I tried different harrdrives, tried to create new projects - all the same. I it was then narrowed down to the following: when I delete everything in the folder C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\7.0 it works perfectly - but of course all of my workspaces, presets and custom etc. keys.  (that date back to CS5) disappeared. I was even upgraded to PP CC 2014 just now, but to import my precious presets, it chrashes once again, give me the exact same error message. So I tried to copy ONLY the file .keys or ONLY 'effect Presets and custom items' etc. - no chance, if NO preset file before is in there, PP does not charge not all projects.

  Could someone help me with this please? I absolutely would NOT lose all these presets, because I CANNOS SIMPLY restore everything what in like 15 minutes. Not even an hour also. I hope that the descripiton of the problem is clear and thanks in advance for any tips.

  If you can open a project after you delete the folder, first make a new project and import that into the new.

  Then add the presets. See if it will work.

• Need help saving the workspace layout

  At Photoshop World, Julieanne Kost has mentioned that she likes having all of its panels to the left. I tried this at home and really like it like that, so I saved a new workspace.

  

  My problem is that when I opened a new image, the image window floats behind my left side panels and it drives me crazy! That's the problem...

  

  I really want its default value to a place I put all new document created or the image that opens, but I can't understand how to save to this place and I searched online and in the preferences. Can someone help me to be lacking in this position below?

  Yes, there is a way to do this.

  Start with a workspace that has the panels to the right.

  Important: have all the files open.

  Also important: open the panels you want to show by default, such as layers and nuances.

  Now, as shown in the screenshot, drag the panels as a group by placing your mouse pointer where the red box, and then drag it to the Toolbox until you see a blue line. This means that the panels will be anchored instead of float and won't allow your documents open under him.

  Save Workspace, and then open your files.

  Hi, thanks for the quick response. I just realized I've done all this time, I think I'm going through various round tables, I always press B by default when I'm on the Panel, I need to draw this changed the brush in pencil which I think is why the spacing and the modified transfer.

  Sweet plugin!  Seems to make me exactly where I want to be.

  For people not wanting to go with the plugin route, the tab "developing fast" in the library module almost did what I want, if I am ready to go with x-5 for the shade instead of x - 2.

• Manage dynamic tracing presets?

  I have some saved presets to trace that I want to get rid of. I don't see a way to manage. I think there will be a way to do to the Magage function workspaces.

  Edit > tracing Presets. Select the one you want to move, and then choose export Presets... then same thing and import presets.

  I don't see another way to move them. You can add or delete Presets dialogue box well.

  The correct path is HD > Users > (yourname) > library > Preferences > Adobe Illustrator CS4 Settings

• 2015.5 have not migrated presets

  When the upgrade since Photoshop CC 2015 to 2015.5 he has not transferred the new Document size presets. The installation Panel expressly provides that the presets are transferred to the new version.

• I can't save several effects as a preset

  Hello!

  I am PRE9 running on my pc Windows 10, 6 GB of memory.

  I'm re-thinking some old video files.

  I support the scene, click on effects apply the effects I want and change them.

  Stabilizer, color balance (RGB) and refine to get the desired effect.

  Now, I should be able to highlight the effects and save them in my presets.

  However when I do this it records only the stabilizer.

  I'm doing something wrong.

  You can save multiple effects in a preset of effects recorded in my presets in Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1.

  If apply Stabilzer, sharpness, color for the clip Balance.

  Click on edit effects to open the Palette of the properties files.

  Change the Panel for each of these effects.

  Hold down the SHIFT key, and then click each of the 3 panels to select them all at the same time.

  Click anywhere in the selection and click Save Preset.

  You will find that saved Preset under edit header/effects/my presets.

  I've been there and actually done.

• CC 2015 reset workspace is different. Why?

  I opened the window the program monitor to display it on a second monitor. I want to reset the workspace when I do the second monitor. Time, it was I would go to the window > workspace > reset the workspace current. In CC 2015 'Reset the current workspace' has been replaced by 'registered reset work space.' When I select 'Reset saved workspace' is not restore the default workspace, seems, restore it in the last set-up that I have used and remains unlocked, the monitor of the program window. I never saved the workspace is doing it on his own? Should I have created a new workspace before unlocking the control panel? Is there a way to restore a default workspace in 2015 CC or is my monitor program unlocked forever now? Side note, I doubly pissed that my only option to support is a * forum.

  The only way to solve this problem (for me) is to reinstall the first.

  I brought changes in reverse by default and then made a Save Changes to this workspace. Bad move because I need default WS from time to time.

  If you want to change your WS and save it, you will need to save it as a new workspace.

• Lightroom CC - development of non-visible presets on the context menu in the library Module

  Just installed Lightroom CC 2015 - loving the speed increase in the develop module.

  When I select a bunch of images in the library module and right-click (Windows of course), 'developing' settings from the context menu has a number of things listed, but missing completely all presets that are usually visible.  This was voluntarily removed in Lightroom CC, or is this a bug?

  If I pass the develop module, all my presets appear on the left hand side correctly.

  In the library module, they are all listed in the box "Saved Preset" above to develop quickly, but they are just missing now from the context menu.

  I tried to reset all my prefs (ctrl + alt + shift on restart) - still the same.

  Any ideas?
