CC of PP and PP CC 2014 crashing when loading presets, workspaces etc... Help?
Hi all
I use PP on my laptop for years, from CS5, CS6 and CC without any problem. Yesterday, I was working on my project current PP CC and all of a sudden, he crashed and after that refused to load any project, showing me this error log: http://i.imgur.com/I6kL3G8.jpg.
So I advanced and erased all the temporary files, the media places paid and so inexplicable computer, cleaned the registry, I tried different harrdrives, tried to create new projects - all the same. I it was then narrowed down to the following: when I delete everything in the folder C:\Users\[username]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\7.0 it works perfectly - but of course all of my workspaces, presets and custom etc. keys. (that date back to CS5) disappeared. I was even upgraded to PP CC 2014 just now, but to import my precious presets, it chrashes once again, give me the exact same error message. So I tried to copy ONLY the file .keys or ONLY 'effect Presets and custom items' etc. - no chance, if NO preset file before is in there, PP does not charge not all projects.
Could someone help me with this please? I absolutely would NOT lose all these presets, because I CANNOS SIMPLY restore everything what in like 15 minutes. Not even an hour also. I hope that the descripiton of the problem is clear and thanks in advance for any tips.
If you can open a project after you delete the folder, first make a new project and import that into the new.
Then add the presets. See if it will work.

Hi guys, any help on this is much appreciated because I have a job due in 18 hours and I'm in big trouble, if I can't solve this problem.
I was editing a project in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 (update to the latest version) and when I tried to access the same file today it gives me the error message:

I saved the other version files and they all seem to be working properly so I know this isn't my HD which is corrupt. In fact, my suspicion is that it has something to do with a blur effect that I use. The only problem is, I can still access the file to remove the effect that the project file does not open.

I use a Macbook Pro
OS X version 10.9.4
2.6 Ghz Intel Core i5
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

This has not worked for me also, but I did try and import my existing project into a new project and copy all the files. Works fine now.

"Disk zero" was almost full warning. I deleted the files opened to create space. However, photoshop CC, crashed before that I was able to free up space. As you can already read in your crash report - the crash has little to do with Photoshop and everything to do with your Nik/Google SelectiveTool plugin.
Disable this plugin and contact Nik/Google for an update that fixes bugs in this plugin.

Satellite L675-11R - crashes when loading the BIOS
Hello
My daughter L675 crashes when loading the BIOS.
Yesterday the system firstly could not start with a "Boot failed" error, as the HARD drive is not found.
I restarted and is gone in BIOS - the HARD disk was recorded and shown as a first Source of seed. After reboot, the system has failed again with the same error.
After several attempts, even if it does not. now that appears in a black screen, blinking cursor top left. Hot start works, but another key not seem to provoke a reaction. I can't start the BIOS Setup.
I removed the HARD drive and connected it to my PC. It was recoginized and I am able to write to it. A W7 disk verification completed successfully and some problems have been "fixed". But when I reinstall the drive of the laptop, it still does not start.
I double checked that the drive & Modules of memory are well inserted.
Any ideas I can try?

Well, the cursor blinking in the upper left corner is a typical sign of a malfunction of the HARD drive.
I think you need to format the HARD drive using other computers. Delete all partitions and insert the HARD drive into the L675 again.
Then try to install the Windows system on this device.In addition, you can try to check this HARD disk using a 3rd party software.
Drive Fitness Test is a free tool that can help you test the ability of the HARD drive.
If some errors would be detected, then a replacement HARD drive would be desirable. -

I've recently completely removed, disabled and reinstalled all my Master Collection Adobe Creative Suite CS3 to fix some problems with another application in the suite, and now I'm surprised bridge continues to fail. In my mobile workstation, the same software (bridge) uses to run.I tried to run Bridge under several compatibility modes. All have failed.
Is there any bug to know, that I should be aware of? Any difficulty?

Have you tried to reset the preferences? Hold down the CTRL key and launch Bridge. You will get a window to reset.
By accident, it means that the computer has to be reset? It freezes? Error messages?

Photoshop CC 2014 crashes when you open or save PNG files
I'm having a problem where open or save PNG files causes my copy of Photoshop CC 2014 crashing.
I've updated to the latest version, restarted my computer and don't have any plug-ins installed. I also re-installed the application program cloud creative, although I have not tried a sequence complete uninstall/reinstall.
I'm running an x 64 version of Windows and we tried the 64 and 32 bit versions of Photoshop - or work.
Other file formats do not seem to cause any problem - the problem is specific to the PNG files (Adobe Photoshop does support on any PNG as LibPNG library? Maybe an older version was installed by a different application?)
This question seems to have taken place in the past on the Adobe forums, but there is no clear resolution.
Part of information is missing, but your CC 14.1.2 DO CC race not 2014, and14.1.2 must be updated to 14.2.1. Also, I don't see the date of you video drivers. Looks like my CC 2014 and my 14.2.1

Firefox crashes when I try to download updates to a number of different programs, etc. I tried to download updates LR4 and Adobe flash from Adobe and driver updates for Wacom tablets. Crash to desktop and laptop. I changed browsers and was able to download the updates. I first noticed what is happening on 12 December.

EliteBook 2740 recharge does not and HP product Assistant crashes when you start the battery check
I just buy an elitebook 2740. When I hover over the battery and plug icon in the taskbar, it says do not charge battery. I tried to uninstall the ACPI compatible driver in the Device Manager and scan for new hardware to reinstall it, and it worked the first time. But now it does nothing. When I open produced tune, I get an error message and the program crashes when starting the battery check.
Yes, I downloaded and installed the BIOS and chipset drivers and followed by the shutdown sequence. It's the job niow. I called Technical Support and learned that the battery does not load when it reaches a certain percentile because the computer recognizes it has a good charge. When it is less than 95% fresh or so, it will load. Mine does not work correctly. Appreciate your help, I wasn't aware of this design feature before now. Overall it was a good exercise.

Before 4 opens and then crashes when loading project
I realize that first Elements 4 is old, but I still love and use it for all my projects. Here's my problem: I've been running for 4 months on my new laptop for Win 7 HP 64 - bit, but only today it started to go bonkers. It opens fine, but when I open a project, it minimizes the window pre as soon as it loads. Even if I tried to re-opening the window, he refuses to return to full screen mode.
I tried the Vista compatibility and even XP, which runs under administrator privileges, but nothing helped. It is the result of a virus or a newly installed program? I return to the edition...

There is one thing I need to clarify-do you mean that you can no longer open a new project, one that is empty? If Yes, then you can skip the test below, well we could get back to that, if we can get before you open a new project.
When you say "raw AVI files", these are DV - AVI, a special form of AVI? This ARTICLE will give you more information about the file formats.
You mention Audio WMA files. As an AVI file, those can contain a lot of different things, but more on that in a moment.
With Win7-64, 4 GB of RAM is all that Win7 should work, and leaving not a lot of excess for the programs.
Now, the projects may become corrupt or unstable, because of many things. Active in a project can become a problem. Test a project for the 'bad' assets is to ensure that the pre is closed and then 'hide' the assets of pre. As the project file, of PREL, contains none of the assets, but only following absolute paths for these assets, it's farily simple. How they structured their active records can greatly simplify this task, or cause a bit of work. It sounds as if your project is pretty simple so far and should not be difficult to follow these steps to test:
- With the pre is closed, go to or records, where the assets are located and move the folders elsewhere. Don't forget, the PREL uses absolute paths, so that this original path no longer apply. At this point, I also would separate active by type, say with video files in a folder 'Video', still Images in a folder "Images" and the Audio files in a folder "Audio". You'll see why in a moment.
- Before starting, and then open the project problem.
- We will be faced with a message dialog box, asking "where is file _? Since we moved these assets, we must help the PrE to find them. Simply navigate to the proposed folder, where the first asset. The display of the dialog box offers a Finder, but since you have moved things, you should have this info. Locate the first file, claiming before.
- Once you find it, pre will do two things: make the connection again and then look in the folder for other assets, used in this project and also a link to them - pretty neat, huh?
- Given that we have separated our assets by type, if the first type, say video, very well, that we can exclude those charges. If the project crashes here, we found at least one problem.
- When meadow comes to the following assets, reappears on the screen of the dialog box, and we will do the same thing: find the file, claiming before, and again, pre will restore the link with it and this search for the active folder. If all goes well, we can probably exclude those assets as a problem.
- He repeats until either the project managers, or until project accidents, or crashes. If this happens, we reduced things down to a single type of assets. That's why we separated - it's active troubleshooting much easier. Note: Titles are written in XML, in the PREL code, so nothing concrete there for them at this stage.
Whatever you do, don't choose NOT save, and especially if you decide to Skip Media, or cancel. Only do a Save_As, so to NOT overwrite your original PREL. Never overwrite original PREL, if you are having problems.
Please report it on this test. The project fails with a specific type? If Yes, what is this type of assets?
If you have a certain asset of this type, you can redo the test, moving, say half of these goods again and rerun the test. If the project crashes with either the first half or the second, you are closer.
