  I just bought this printer and when I scan multiple documents color using the manger, they come out in black and white.  Is it possible to scan several documents by their food in the feeder?

  I understand that you are not able to scan several documents from the ADF in colour. I would like to help out you
  with this issue today.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  I have provided a document for how to scan multiple pages and how to change the settings for scanning. Please select your operating system from the list. Scan.

  The HP software, it will give you the ability to scan in color. The binding of advanced settings, uncheck the option to create a new file for each analysis, or combine multiple in one file scans, if you want multiple documents to save in a file.

• How to scan a color document in PDF format (in color) with 120 envy

  I can't scan in color in PDF format with the desire of 120. I googled to are if possible and can't seem to find an answer. I chose PHOTOGRAPHY instead of DOCUMENT and types of modified file, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I no longer get several files or a black and white version of a scanned document if I choose PDF. Is it a setting I'm missing?

• Printer won't scan in color?

  My personal printer is a HP Officejet 6500 a e710n-z

  I have for a few years now and it was working perfectly so far

  But tonight, when I tried to scan a picture, any program, I used or settings I changed, the image would not scan in color.

  On the setting of the color, I got an image in grayscale.  On the determination of levels of grey, I had a mess Bacon, black and white.

  I have tried everything I can think to solve this problem, including: combing through the support forums, run the diagnostics on the machine and manually restart the printer.  Nothing works.

  If anyone knows how to solve this problem, please please tell me what I need to do so that the Analyzer produces color once again.

• OfficeJet Pro 8620: Scanning in color and put the scanned on my computer, is it possible?

  I want to be able to scan to my computer and in color. There is however no setting I can find on the printer, and HP apps on my computer Mac, there is also no way to set all scan settings, such as color scan instead of grayscale. The web interface of the printer does not provide such a definition either. There are settings to specify where scanned files is put in the analysis to the computer, but how digitization is made, what resolution and color / gray scale is not defined anywhere.

  This should be a trivial thing to do, but I didn't spend hours trying to find such a context and have now given upp!

  All I want to do is be able to scan a document in color and put it in a folder on my computer in PDF searchabe. All this criteria seems to be impossible to do. There are no parameters anywhere for all this really bugs me. This makes this more or less impossible to use printer/scanner.

  I have a lot of documents that I need scanned in color using the charger and I don't know where the parameter must use the scan black and white to color. Help, please. I am a mobile notary and there are ready docs that I must return to the lender.

  I can print and copy in color very well and I can scan in color using the flat bed but not the charger.

  I see that you are having problems when scanning using the document feeder. Have you tried to do a scan using the HP Easy Scan application? HP Easy Scan is a free app on the App Store with tools to scan documents and photos to a Mac running OS X 10.9 or later version.

  Please go to http://hp.care/2d75fhX to get detailed instructions to scan and also to change the settings, including the color settings. If you don't have the application, you can also download and install the application from the same link.

  These measures should be the case, I would like to know the results

  Make sure the registration color scans at is not read-only.  You can do this by right-clicking on the folder and then select Properties.  Ther will be a box with the unalterable words beside him.  Make sure that the check box is disabled.  If the box has a check or anything in this document, click it until there is nothing in the box.  Let me know what happens.

  I (try) to use a HP Officejet Pro 8500 a scan in color to a macbook (OS 10.6.8).

  Currently, I am only able to scan in grayscale using the cable or the touchpad with the program. I checked the settings and I don't see an option to change this. Anyone able to help me with this?

  Can you use the front panel of the unit to run a scan PDF?

  If so, please try the steps below and do it me know any changes:

  1 open the HP utility and select your device.
  2. based on Scan Settings open "shortcuts Scan Manager.
  3 select the affected shortcut - save as PDF - and click on change... (or double-click on the shortcut).
  4. in the section of scanning from an HP device, click the blue triangle to expand the menu.
  5. in the expanded menu now, open the drop-down next to the Mode
  6. now select the color option, and then click OK to save the changes. The next scanned using this workflow is displayed in color.

  If the problem continues without change, please specify what software used to scan.

  I'd love to help you with your Deskjet 2130. I see from your description, you are able to print in color, but you can not scan in color longer. I am convinced that I will be able to help you find a solution, and I ask only that pay you it forward. When solve us the problem, I would mark you kindly post as accept as Solution so that others have the same or similar problem can find what worked for you.

  You said that your settings are correct, but I wonder if you try to change your preset scanning if it would work. You have the scan on scan document or scan photo? Can you also check the color scanning settings and let me know what it says?

• Acrobat XI does not scan in color on Win 8.1!

  I use a Kyocera 6526 cdn as a network scanner and latest acrobat XI as digital delivery of Dell on Dell new 8.1 Win machine.

  My other computer, a Win 7 machine does not scan properly. It uses a standard version Arcobat XI installed from a cd/dvd.

  Please try to use "Color Image" preset mode to scan your document based logo. You can also perform custom analysis and set "Color Mode" to the "color" for the scanning of your document.

  Hello, I can not scan to network drive using the above mentioned printer. Scan to USB key is possible.

  I downloaded the update (version 20160331) firmware image, but impossible to install the program. After double click, nothing happens. Any ideas?

  The printer is not compatible with Snow Leopard, it is supported on Lion (10.7) or later versions.

  The update of the firmware utilitywas not desinged for your operating system and therefore does not work on it.

• Not just with scans of color

  I have a 6520 printer all in one, and every time I scan a regular white piece of paper it comes as a cream or yellow off white color.  Why does do this and how can I analyze is actually white as the color of the paper I'm scanning?

  Thanks for responding to me! I have some ideas in mind for you to try.

  Run the print and scan the doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for all conflicts that may be causing the problem. The tool will show you a report at the end. If there is a problem that the tool could not fix, you will notice it in the results. Try to scan the image.

  Be able to reset the printer and make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help solve the problem of scanning. Try a scan again.

  If the steps above do not seem to help, try to completely uninstall the printer software and reboot the PC to complete uninstallation.

  Who should do the trick and have the normal scanning work again.

  The workflow default scanning set up to scan documents in black and white. Be sure to change the settings for scanning to scan color documents:

  1 open the HP utility and select your device.

• HP Envy 5532 Printing green lines across the page when scanning in color

  Hi, I'm Green striped wallpaper is the best way to describe it, when I scan a document color the entire page has this striped background green and the image being analyzed. The printer is around the age of 18 months.

  I tried all the diagnostic tools that are available through the printer, nothing seems to clear it.

  Any suggestions?

  Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

  I understand that your e-all-in-one printer of 5532 Envy is scanning with green lines. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet , not a surge protector. Once it's done remove any paper flat from the printer and turn the printer off, then on again. Finally we will try to make a copy. If the copy has lines so you have a hardware problem. If you are able to make a copy without lines so you can have a software problem.

  If you have a hardware problem

  While the printer is turned on remove the cable at the back of the printer for a minute, turn on the printer and try to make a copy.

  If the copy always has lines in it then we will make a factory reset the printer. I'll send you some pointers on how to do so shortly in a private message.

  If after the reset you still have lines in print then the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP support by clicking here and filling out the form below.

  If you have a software problem

  I can provide you with more information, but I need to know what operating system is on your computer. If you are not sure what your operating system is you can click here to find. Please let me know what you use, and I'll be better able to help you.
