  One of the is for audio in and one for the audio output. Some versions of some have a plug S/PD/F. Chances are the reason why you get static is that if you connect a headset with a microphone jack, it will try to behave like a microphone. It will not work properly.

  It is actually both a Lightroom and Photoshop Elements problem. The version of Lightroom you are using search Camera Raw 9 to make sure that the image is properly translated when it transfers from Lightroom to Photoshop Elements. Lightroom can see that you have only the version of camera raw. Lightroom notifies you as well as the transition between Lightroom and elements might not transfer all adjustments using Lightroom. So, it should give a free choice either way you or edit a copy with Lightroom adjustments. The second option is the one you should choose. Then Lightroom will create a TIF or PSD file (depending on your external editing options) and send this file to the elements.   While creating my new monitor, I changed the computer video display mode at 120 Hz by accident.  Now I see something on the monitor other than the words not taken in CHARGE the MODE.

  I answer my own question because I found my solution, thanks to my grandson (freshman to Renselear Politech).

  My computer double exit DVI.  My grandson told me to connect my new monitor to the other output because the output does not get touched when I changed the original mode of production.  He has worked and is automatically selects the default monitors mode.  Then I've reconfigured the original output using the integrated display software. Solved!
