• Notification bar screen burn

  Someone else screen burn from the notification bar I noticed today I watch a video in widescreen. My maxx HD does this, but it was worse. It's on the top and the bottom of the status bar and the shading of the on screen nav button. Now it would be nice to have the option to hide the tray completely. I can hide with nova, but if you open an application up to the top. I hate just that these screens burn in so easy. I wish they had built in burn protection where the screen is still moving slightly invisible to the naked eye as HD TV do now to prevent it. It would be great if bike would build in an option to hide the bar all in chrome or apps are open I don't know is what cause it is because its always there and just burn away. :-/

  It is a known fact that these screens will get screen burn. There are apps that will help you minimize what you see on the screen. • Sony Vaio Duo 11 screen burn-in problem HELP!

  So I have the above mentioned material element and overall it is very good.

  BUT I have a problem which becomes more noticeable from day to day.

  When you use an application for a period of time, say 10 minutes +, whether subway or office back to the main menu of tiles Win8 show up with a burn-in of the previously closed app. This "burn" doesn't go away unless I turn the computer off for about 10-15 minutes. But using the PC as usual always brings the same effect.

  I am not running any unusual software or configurations bizaar. I tested this on different levels of brightness and 40 Hz and 60 Hz, but the problem still persists.

  Nowhere can shed some light on whether this is a normal occurrence on the Duo 11? If this is not the case, what steps to follow recommended action?

  I do experience non-permanent screen burn ins, visible only on dark images (but not when the pc is turned off), who are the backbone of the entire screen, with a width of about 2 centimeters. When I turn on the pc after that it was off for a while, no burn in is predictable; Then, it takes a few seconds when a new image is "blocked" and is expected in areas dark images of wallpapers. When I turn the pc off the burn ins disappear. I've already updated the BIOS and drivers, and it does not solve the problem.

• When I use Windows 10 on my iMac (27 inch, at the end of 2012), why do screen running after the minutes of its use?

  When I boot back into OS X El Capitan, I can see screen burn-in remains of my Windows 10 homescreen.

  My screen on Windows 10 resolution is located at 2560 x 1440 (recommended).

  Last time I got the shot screen SD card in black and never returned to normal...

  The PC works fine on the external screen...
  I can see what is on the computer laptop screen at the back but is almost completely black...

  My guess is it is the lamp of the screen burned!

  Sounds like an inverter problem.

  The FL inverter (very small part behind the screen frame) is responsible for the backlight of the screen and it controls the backlight.
  If the FL inverter will start to malfunction, then you would see everything as behind a fog of ticks, I think this is your case

  I recommend contacting ASP which would be able to help you.
  The P300 notebook is not very old, and I think the warranty to be valid.

  Dear HP users,

  I've had my HP Pavilion dv5z-1000 for four years now.  My parents bought this computer during the sale of the labor day in 2008.  After almost a year of daily use, I encountered my first problem.  One night during my first year of high school the screen burned completely. In my head I was scared and called HP the next day.  Thank God I was under warranty and they replaced or repaired the LCD screen for me.

  Nearly a year later, when no unsecured computer does the same thing again.  This time I couldn't see the computer zap or FRY in front of me.  I turned it on one day and to my surprise, the screen was black.  I took out the battery, turned on the computer with the charger, and the screen started to work again.  Unfortunetely, these two hours of happy he was working while on the load screen went black again.  I called HP and they said I would have to pay because I wasn't not under warranty anymore.

  My father has bought a new computer dell laptop after that and I used it since.  I'm now going to College, and I desperately want to FIX this HP computer and use it as a backup.

  While on the current the sceen can work for a certain period of time.  Sometimes, the screen can last for 2 + hours or only barely 1 minute, in which there are flickers constantly and then boom - the screen goes black again.

  I tried these solutions and I tried to connect the computer to an external monitor (my LG TV) via an RGB - PC cable and the result is connectionless.  I heard that there are countless problems with screens HP including, in particular, the model I bought.  If anyone has any suggestions on what is causing this problem please let me know.  I still don't know if this is my video card, motherboard, the LCD screen, or if the wire connections are damaged/loose.

  I agree with you that it is the power inverter and that is why I asked you to use the flashlight. Electric inverters cost less than $20 and a computer store should help you to replace at least for an hour work. Some stores charge $40 - $150 / hr would be fork and I think that in my area, most is about $50-$ 80.  I think that the forums of HP (I think we have to show you the answer?) would be a good reason to buy another HP!

  Hello, about a year and a half ago, I bought a model 23 inches from the S2340M (from Amazon). The monitor was working fine until recently. A week ago, the left side of the screen burned the image of what I was watching. This caused a tint of green/gray and individual pixels can be seen. I tried the included air conditioning LCD function which doesn't seem to change anything. I also tried a regular white image, and an image black and white flashing screen adjustment, or gave me a bit of luck. I used the diagnostic tool which leads me to believe that the persistence of the image is irreversible. Any suggestions?

  I bought a w700 iconia in October and shortly after that I began to encounter a problem with the speakers where they would make a noise very cutting/static when using it. I had to disable the right speaker but I was wondering if any of you had this problem and if you have fixed it because I don't want to send away for warranty because I use it every day. Is also normal to have screen burn ins after a short period of use? I also have a problem where the screen becomes extremely bright for a second or 2 after being on a screen saver.

  Several questions.

  You'll have to send it in for the problem to the speaker, it is either loose or damaged and not easily fix at home.

  The screen will show roughly stable ghosting of the bright images. It is not one problem other than the appearance. Try reducing the brightness on the screen if it bothers you.

  The auto brightness sometimes takes a second or two to address when there is a big change in the image of the screen. If it bothers you just disable the auto brightness function.

• Screen seems to leave behind an impression "burned in".

  I just bought a new Apple Watch yesterday and today, I noticed it seems to be a printing / "burned in" blurs left on the screen when you move across my screens.  Is this normal or is this a problem?  I hope I explained this good enough but I have attached pictures.  The bright white says 'no notice' from this screen but the red and orange blurs are what I'm talking about. And no, this isn't thinking bringing

  I have an iMac end of 2014 27 "5K and have noticed a few short persistence / burn on my screen. It seems to be more visible on certain origins than others.

  I would return the Apple iMac (its less than a year) or are there steps I can take to fix this myself?
