Screen flashing during alarm compact Z3

I currently have this thing: when my alarm lights, the alarm screen blinks like crazy. No question about the alarm itself. Just the alarm screen. I searched the net, no link on what could be the cause. Help, please. You feel it too?

The problem, it is caused by a third-party application.

  • Hi, my screen flashes during playback of movies from Netflix

Hi, my screen flashes during playback of movies from Netflix. It happens with other applications or when I play DVD. It begins in about 5 seconds in movies and it happens about every 4-5 seconds. The screen turns white for about a second, then it shows some horizontal lines, and it goes back to normal. And after a few seconds, he begins anew. I also noticed it always happen when I move my mouse during playback of a movie at Netflix.

My PC is HP Pavilion 17 inch. I3 Haswel processor and Intel graphics card built-in. 8.1 to win

I've updated all the drivers, but nothing helped.

    Any suggestions?

Figured out. Change refresh rate of 60 Hz 40 Hz p p and it solved the problem.

BTW, HP helpdesk is completely useless... He does not call them – at least their 'free' in India support is completely incompetent.

  • Satellite A305 - screen flashes during processing

Not sure if this is normal behavior, but I have a new Satellite A305.
From time to time so that he (initially), treats the entire black screen momentarily (as a quick glance) and then turn on again.

I've never had a laptop behave like that, except at the start, so don't know if this is normal behavior or the result of a problem.

It is not easy to give an answer to this, especially if it happens from time to time. What I can say is look at this problem and if you really think that frequently, contact the nearest service and ask for help.

  • When you use the application phone on my Droid, the screen flashes

The phone is a Droid that is original, bought in December 2009 at Costco.  The service provider is Verizon.

For example, when I call automatic CVS Pharmacy prescription refill service, the screen flashes and is mainly off makes it difficult-not impossible to enter a list of numbers of RX to recharge.  It is repeatable.

I tried to use the phone to access the payment system of automated mortgage payment to my Bank, a large National Bank and had the same results. It's also repetitive.

    I am running firmware version 2.1 - update1.

I'd appreciate any help anyone has this problem.

    Thanks in advance,

    Glen

I think your problem is that your fingers trigger the proximity sensor.  When you enter the numbers on the phone during a call make sure you hit the first speaker key.  This will disable the proximity sensor and the screen will not virgins on you you are trying to enter numbers.  I hope this helps.

  • Screen flashes while taking pictures using the Auto flash and front camera on

Question: Screen flashes with blank white light while taking the photo using a front camera with the flash light on which is so annoying

I could be wrong, but I think that this is how flash works for the front facing camera.

  • iMac screen flashes black in Photoshop CC

    Hello

I am posting this as well in CC Adobe and Apple forums as I do not know where the problem lies, but I would really appreciate this problem:

I use Adobe apps on an iMac CC brand new (still in time to get the full refund). If you use Photoshop CC (2015.5) the entire screen (not only the Photoshop window) goes black for about half a second when any icon tool exceeding a certain size of pixel passes of the tool to the pointer icon icon or vice versa.

This happens for example when the icon of the fate of the area of the image on the menus or the dashboard or window, or when it comes in and out of the right click menu change brush size. Any situation when running the tool pointer or pointer tool. It does not always happen, but it happens most of the time, maybe the type of pointer movement has something to do with it, well it happens with fast or slow transitions.

The problem only occurs when the brush is superior to certain dimensions - never when it is less than the critical size. The critical size may vary depending on whether the Photoshop was opened for a while or just launched (I don't know too much about). There is also an interaction with the hardness of the tool.

    Thus, for example:

On the blur to 0% hardness tool, the screen flashes black when will top 80 pixels-never less than size. 100% hardness, it flashes from 64 pixels. Same for the Brush tool, Eraser, etc. I think it happens with any appreciable tool (don't have not tried them all).

I use a Wacom Intuos PS and the Magic Mouse from Apple. The problem occurs at the same time if they are both connected together or separately.

The problem occurs even when Photoshop is the only application running.

Please help, because it is almost unusable now.

    Specifications of the computer:

    iMac, retina 4 k, 21, 5-inch

Processor: Intel Core i5 to 3.1 GHz

    Memory: 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Graphics card: Intel Pro Iris Graphics 6200 1536 MB

The Photoshop memory usage is set to default values:

    4500MB (70% of available memory)

    4 levels of cache

    Tile size 1024K cache

I just downloaded and tried the oldest version of Photoshop - CS6 - available through my driver's license and the problem is exactly the same, this is not limited to a particular version of the CC in Photoshop.

  • Control LCD screen flashes on and outside

    Hello
I have a 6 yr old HP w15e LCD monitor, it is quite old. But recently, it's showing strange things. Whenever I turn on the power to the monitor with or without the CPU video input, continuous screen blinking on and outside (I think there are two seconds between the two slot and power off).
I tried different power cables, but still screen flashing. So help me to record this thing.
    Thank you.

    Hello @shan678,

I understand that your w15e HP LCD monitor continues to blink off and off and you seek help to fix. I provided you with a few steps, you can try below:

Step 1. Unplug the power cord at the back of the screen and the wall
Step 2. Press and hold the power button for at least a minute
Step 3. Plug the power cable in the monitor, and then to the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
Step 4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
Step 5. Navigate to the factory reset option and select

If the steps above did not resolve your issue, you can try the monitor on a computer or other device to see if the problem persists. If not I think it would be preferable that you contact HP Support for service options.

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • Screen flashes black when playing games

When I play the games. The screen flashes black for a few seconds then goes back and re-offend?

After reading this description of problem a single sentence, it is not easy to tell a lot about your problem.

Perhaps you should tell us something about your machine, pre-installed OS, display driver you are using and of course, be a bit more detail on this subject.

  • Satellite M300 - screen flashes white

Toshiba Satellite M300 on 18 months old (using Windows 7). Display has had intermittent problems. Screen flashes to a white screen. Now if the lid is moved while he was working, "white" screen completely and returns to normal when returned to 'the sweet spot '!

Have not yet tried another monitor. Driver is up-to-date. Assuming that maybe it's a "bad connection". Use turned off with the closure of the lid that changed tonight.

    Any ideas? :)

    Hi KezRev,

Theoretically, it could be a problem of connecting cable or internal problem display but you should test another monitor first. Just connect an external monitor to check the image here.

If the external monitor works properly it s the LCD cable internal or visualize a malfunction. So, contact a service provider and allow technicians to check your laptop. They can fix this problem and order new parts. :)

  • 10 update, the screen flashes.

Update Windows 7 10, (last night). My laptop screen keeps flashing and I can't use the computer at all. How can I uninstall Windows 10 & back to 7?

I suggest you only start Win10 in safe mode. Because you screen flashes the only way to do so is in the password screen. When you're at the password screen, click the power options in the lower right. Hold down the SHIFT key and select restart. This will get you to the troubleshooting page. Once you're in safe mode, you can return to Win7. I suggest you google "Win10 starting in safe mode" and "return to Win7 from Win10. It should provide you with screenshots. I hope this helps.

  • Screen flashing in Satellite L500D

    Welcome!

I have a laptop Toshiba L500D. For about two weeks, something is happening with my laptop. Laptop is turned on and when I open the lid, or closed, the screen flashes, change colors, you can see the different bands in black and white or in color, usually the screen is distorted.

This happens when the cover is at an angle from 0 to 90 degrees, when there is more than 90 degrees, then it is not the case.

Probably something not going under the screen of the laptop on the hinges. Only way out is a service?

It is a film in which this problem is presented.

    Please answer

    Hello

Yes, I agree with you that there may be a problem with the connection.
But it of not possible to say exactly what's wrong.
It may be something wrong with the sensor that turns the backlight on and off, or maybe something wrong with one cable

There is no other choice for that pick up if the guarantee is available (it should be valid 2 years long if the laptop has been saved) then should be set the laptop for free.

    Good luck
