Screen freezes at startup
Interesting problem popped up on my new install ESXi 6. When I start the server, start seems to stop at the dma_mapper_iommu loaded successfully. The server itself will continue to boot and works very well, however I can not access the server via the console directly.
I tried the key combinations (Alt + F1 / F2 / F12). Rebooting produces the same result.
The problem started after I replaced my network card. I was using a Broadcom BCM5751 but I had some problems with her fall from the network at random. I threw in an Intel PRO/1000 Pt Dual Port card and he had no connectivity issues, but now I have this problem.
Any ideas?
Remove "DirectPath i/o" graphics device and restart.

Recently installed Google Chrome and started to add some PC problems. This could be a coincidence, but I was wondering if the Chrome can somehow interfere with the operation of Windows. Thank you for any light on the topic.
Hi Anoop,
Thanks for your reply. I checked the links you recommended, but did not find anything of note when I checked the logs events or performance. (I can't seek enough carefully.)
Fortunately, the problem disappeared in the past few days and he can not Google Chrome to what has caused the occasional screen freezes. To answer your questions, Frost moved not just with Google Chrome, there is no error message and I have not recently updated the latest drivers.
In any case, at the moment seems to agree, and if a conflict between Windows and the Chrome is not a good experience then it's probably just a coincidence that I met problems with my shortly after its installation.
Once again, thank you for your help.

Satellite A60 - white screen Freeze on Boot up
Hello
My laptop Satellite A60-106 has developed a problem starting up upward. It just hangs on a white to the startup screen until I see all the graphics. It seems that it can access the CD/DVD drive, but any attempt to start with a recovery disk fails in the same white screen and it freezes. I tried the advice from manufacturers that power with the F12 key and another suggestion on the
CD hold down the C key while powering brings the same result.Nothing other than the white screen. I tried F8 to see if I can get into safe mode but it will not exceed the original deaf of readers and then silence. I can't imagine a way to get it to allow me to pass. I'm sure you can however? I'd be happy to format and reload but if I can't access the drive so how can I do this?
I wanted to increase the RAM, but all the suggestions in the book of the hand do not relate to the layout of my laptop. The small Access window on the bottom of the laptop will not provide sufficient access to the RAM? Poking around the RAM could have induced this white screen lock?
Thank you
CharlieHello, Charlie
To be honest you have serious problem and I really don't believe that you can solve alone. It is not easy to say with certainty why white screen occurs at startup to the top. In my opinion there are several reasons responsible for this.
-Display (electronic LCD screen, cable)
-as far as I know white screen occurs if FL dimmer makes background light but there is no signal display can be defects on the motherboard and there is no video signalThe best thing you can do is to contact the authorized service provider. They check your laptop. They have special tools and there is no problem to know why this happen.
Good bye

Hi, I have a G50 - 70 is only around the age of 2 months. Since then, he has had a problem with the immediate freezing at startup on the Lenovo screen where white swirling points stop. It happens about 1 in every 2 or 3 times it starts.
I thought it would be Bios so I installed the 2 updates that have been released without effect. I tried to turn it off to quick start and the alternative boot - USB, LAN options.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

S20 freezes on startup with installed PCIe card
Today I made a new S20 (4105 - 94G) Win 7 x 64 BIOS: 60KT31AUS
I installed the Quadro FX 580 without problem.
When I tried to install a Firewire 800 PCIe 1.1 card x 1 system freezes during startup, with the ThinkStation screen with the Intel logo visible. No error message, no beeps. I waited for several minutes. This happens in all three PCIe free slots (x 1, x 4, x 16).
The card in a Sunix FWB3414G (LSI chip).
I would like to know 1) if any of you have this card work in an S20, 2) suggestions of what to try next.
Thank you very much in advance for any help or advice.

Computer HPp6203 of desktop screen freezes randomly
Original title: windows 7 freeze
I have a high HPp6203 desktop screen freezes at random no program special time frame or action. Unable to move anything or courier. Just before that happens blue circle appears next to Messenger then it freezes. No new software has been installed. Start button / Stop button to clear. Works fine in safe mode. He had already done once before and I restored it at the earlier time and it changed but now it won't let me restore uniquement3 days before and always an error if the restoration is never completed. Thank you Gary
Hi G Conrad, j.
Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.
I would appreciate it if you could provide the error message to better support on the issue. In addition, I would like you to answer the following questions to refine the question.
- You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
- You are able to use the system anyway after the system hangs at startup?
There are a few reasons your computer might hang, freeze, or crash. So I would say, you can remove the external devices except the mouse and keyboard, try the following steps and check if the problem persists.
Method 1:
Step 1: Try to start your system in a State of services necessary to the operation and a minimum set of drivers enabled, called Safe Mode.
Start your computer in safe modeStep 2: If the system works fine in safe mode, try to clean the system startup:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows
Note: See "how to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to prepare the computer to start as usual after a repair.
If method 1 does not work, see the steps in the following link and check if they are useful.
8.1 Windows, Windows 8 or Windows 7 hangs or freezes
Disclaimer : The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.
Hope this information is useful. If the problem still persists, please post back for further assistance, we will be happy to help you.

mini iPad screen freezes and close Web pages
Recently, my iPod mini has been the screen freezes while on various Internet sites, and I was also watching a Web site when the Web page is suddenly closed and I am struck to the homescreen (which displays the grid of the app). When the screen freezes, I have to do a hard reboot because the iPod does respond to any stimuli. Freeze the screen became much worse after the 9.3.3 iOS and iOS 9.3.4, closing only started after that, the newest Web page updated.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then restart the unit.
