I am running Win7-Pro running and Firefox 36.0.4 on my HP laptop and my wife's HP desktop. That office knows this 'freezing problem until the mouse moves on the screen ". The problem occurs in Safe Mode. Don't know what else to try, but willing to try anything. Thanks for your help.

    In FF 7.0.1 this bug/behavior appears with hardware acceleration ON and OFF - no difference.
    Now - for two days with FF 8.0 - downloads seem to work as expected, without stops. I'll test a few days, and if this problem is gone I'll mark this thread as resolved.

    Hope you can help. So far, I'm impressed by my toshiba satellite m70-169.

    He has recently developed an intermittent fault: when the tilt of the screen the effect of light mesh on it and the screen freezes. The mouse also hangs at this point.

    If I tilt the screen one way or the other I can get it to work properly. A slighy inclination of the screen can cause the screen to freeze again. The problem is getting worse, however.

    The above user is right. It s too risky to disassemble the laptop without having any experience with laptops.
    It is why I always recommend taking to a technician.

    People from bad news. While this problem is certainly wrong with 25 and 25.0.1, I also saw him on 24 on Windows 7 after downgrading from 25.     I have a very strange problem with my Macbook Pro 13 "Retina display.   When I login, the system freezes once I have stop moving the mouse.  If I permanently move the mouse, the system works, but if I stop moving for about 2-3 seconds, the system hangs and I have to force turned off using the power button.  I have troubleshooted all the way to the bottom for a pure install of El Capitan 10.11.6 but even after cleaning install it always does the same thing.  Of course, it looks like a HW problem but I just wanted to see if someone else has had this problem and if there was a solution that was not related to HW.
