  Hi.Here is my problem: in Windows 10, while I'm in a game session full screen, if someone calls me on Skype, instead of a small window centered to answer the call on the current game I get a black screen. In windows 7, it wasn't the case, I could just answer of in the game, just by clicking on the small window that overlayied the game and continue playing happily. I know that it's more a problem of Windows 10, but if we could get Skype to work stacking game would be nice, especially since a black screen on you the current game session is very dissruptive.

  Well, I tried anyway, but I don't think it could be fixed, because in windows10 any notifications get you a black screen, in some cases, it crashes the game (all within a game fullscreen).

  The problem occurred on a fault that Dell Vostro 2510 with the additional option should only do the downgrade of Win Xp (from Vista).  As noted, on normal startup, the system will remain in a blank screen after the Windows Xp "loading" screen.  And on safe mode, it will join Mup.sys and then hang there.

  The closest thing that I got from a web search was a thread in forum saying that the official info from Microsoft was that it was a question of Win Xp/motherboard (http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/topic/31874/?o=40 halfway to a post by Bobb Fwed).  The poster provided no link, so I don't know how official his info was really.

  I suggest you to try the steps below and check if they help to resolve the issue.

  Configure your computer to start from the CD-ROM drive. For more information on how to do this, refer to your computer documentation or contact the manufacturer of your computer. Insert your Windows XP installation CD, and then restart your computer.

  a. when the message Press any key to boot from the CD appears on your screen, press a key to start your computer from the Windows XP CD.

  b. press ENTER when you see the message to install Windows XP nowand then press ENTER is displayed on the Welcome to Setup screen.

  c. do not choose the option to press R to use the Recovery Console.

  d. in the Windows XP licensing agreement, press F8 to accept the license agreement.

  e. make sure that your current installation of Windows XP is selected in the box, and then press R to repair Windows XP.

  f. follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

  I just got a refurbished Compaq 7700. It has Windows XP for drives of the refurbished computers.

  I try to boot from the hard drive (HD) and infinite loops, it is never past the initial home screen (black with blue status bar).

  I can't open the safe or the HD mode, it freezes at kmxstart.sys and then restarts again.

  Do a startup repair and see if that fixes it:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  This function is called Aero Snap.

  When you drag a window, you can break it down to the top of the screen to enlarge the window, or share and on the other, fill half of the screen of the window.
