screen problem, black 2009 m after the login screen

Since I downloaded the updated HP I noticed my monitor freezes for like a minute after the Windows 7 log on screen. The log on screen is visible, but after that it fades to the transition to the desktop, the screen stays black for a minute and the only thing visible is the pointer. Office windows load after that and is visible, working properly, etc, but since the update, it takes more time to load. I checked the monitor, the monitor display settings and driver windows display settings - everything seems to go well. I can't find a solution to this annoying problem.

My pc is a HP Pavilion p6110y, running Windows 7 64 - bit (upgrade from Vista), Pentium Dual Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60 GHz, 6 GB Ram, 500 GB HD

The monitor is an HP 2009 m.

Any help would be great!

You can try to use msconfig to prevent some programs from starting automatically.  It can be a process or service that is causing the delay.

Here is a document describing the msconfig (it is for Vista, but the program is the same in Windows 7): http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00819747

The first thing I would try is start diagnosis, reboot and see if the delay is gone.  If it is, then reload msconfig and go through the startup items tab uncheck a few at a time and restart to see what elements cause the delay.  This, until you have reduced the offending program.

If start diagnosis does not remove the delay, then it might be something else in the system of the cause.

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

    1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
    2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
    3. Check your hard drive for errors.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED parameters

The following settings appear on the blue screen.

To view the settings, click on this link.
    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559239 (v = VS. 85) .aspx

    CAUSE

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. TO
interpret, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0 x 80000002: STATUS_DATATYPE_MISALIGNMENT indicates an unaligned data reference was encountered.

    • 0 x 80000003: STATUS_BREAKPOINT indicates a breakpoint or ASSERTION was met when no kernel debugger was attached to the system.

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in theinc directory
the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the
    • Reference of the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2
(the address of the exception) must identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If the exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system
has been launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly,
Make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Make sure all new hardware that is installed is listed in the
    • List of Microsoft Windows Marketplace tested products.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A service driver or defective peripheral system can be
    • responsible for this error. Hardware problems, such as the incompatibilities of the BIOS, memory, conflicts
    • and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable
or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during startup
sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe
Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the system startup procedure
in Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third remote
control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the boot of the computer service
by using the Recovery Console, and then by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the bug check 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You should also
Run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or
Once the installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and system
BIOS incompatibilities. For problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with the absence of disc
space, reduce the number of files on the disk drive hard target. Find and delete any temporary
the files that you do not have to have files hidden Internet, backup application and.chkfiles files that
contain fragments of file saved to disk scans. You can also use another hard drive with more drive
free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

Can't do anything with it. Can not connect, cannot turn off. Nothing. Totally frozen. This occurred after a driver update. Any suggestions or is it dead?

I was able to make it work. I had to hold the key to power + 15 seconds to power off. Then I attached the keyboard. I booted up and it came in portrait mode with the connected keyboard. I connected it but the monitor came in portrait, which is really weird when the display is connected to a keyboard. So, I have attached a mouse for easier movement of the cursor. I went to the display settings and changed landscape which is how I use it in tablet mode. Locked the landscape view. Stop. Removed the keyboard. Started and connected. Display came in landscape mode so everything is GTG. I guess that Intel display driver update default portrait mode Tablet without a keyboard. Don't know why I wasn't able to get the login box appears without the keyboard. Maintain 300 black loading other software and I had left no processor. In any case, as I wrote above all is GTG at least for the moment. If nothing else I learned something about Intel display updated driver on a tablet or 2 in 1.

  • Problems with VPN tunnels after the upgrade to PIX 7.0

It seems that Cisco has revamped the VPN process on the new Version of PIX 7.0.

After I've upgraded, I noticed that AH (i.e. ah-sha-hmac, ah-md5-hmac) was no longer supported and all my container transformation games OH no were not converted.

Another question, if you have enabled on Versieon 6.3, names when you upgrade, tunnel groups will be created (formerly "identity isakmp crypto, crypto key isakmp peer ') which will include a hostname (hostname of identity) instead of IP as it was to the point 6.3. Guess what... Nothing works! Having to delete and recreate it using the IP address.

    See an example...

    tunnel-group OTHER_END type ipsec-l2l

    IPSec-attributes tunnel-group OTHER_END

We found the solution for this problem. It appeared that the perfect forward secrecy is enabled at the other side. If a 'card crypto outside_map 10 set pfs' is necessary. With the pix 6.3 version that appears not to make the difference, the vpn works even with pfs disabled on the side of pix.

  • Problem writing to XML after the dialog box

I use ScriptUI to create and update XML in a document (using the Document.XMLElements methods).

Before opening a ScriptUI window, I can read and write XML without problem.

But after opening a window with some ScriptUI resources, I can only read the existing XML BUT NOT WRITE!

My write method is called by a key event:

    ...

    var myXMLRootNode = / * instantiated * /.

    ...

    myWindow.okButton = / * instantiated * /.

    ...

    myWindow.okButton.onClick = function() {myXMLRootNode.xmlElements.add (myTag, object)};

    ...

It seems that the onClick callback works OK for reading (I can recover all existing values without problem), but not for writing.

    Any idea?

    Hey!

Well, the thing is that you must close the dialog before first in writing in order to document.

    myWindow.okButton.onClick = function(){myWindow.close(1);};

    var myWin = myWindow.show();

    if(myWin == true){

Suggest you download and save the Fixit. Then configure the system before the clean boot by running:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista/Windows 7

Once the Fixit has been downloaded and the system is started in the pure State, check that the native Windows Firewall is now on if a 3rd party firewall has been used previously. Now run the Fixit and choose the default mode. Restart once it's done and see if the system can be connected to the update servers. If he can't, then rerun the Fixit and choose aggressive mode. Turn it back on when he finished the race and updates.

  • Problem blackBerry Q10 has after the last 10.2 OS update

    Hello

I recently received a notice of update for OS 10.2 on my phone and everything went well.

However, when I try to take a picture, I noticed that my media card is no longer recognized. I know all my photos and apps are still there, but I was wondering why it rises more?

It is not available when you try to send files or via the file manager.

I turned off the phone and it was restarted by removing the battery too.

    Help, please

    Thank you.

Since you have done a battery pull I would make sure that the card is firmly connected. Try to remove and then do a battery pull and then after the re-start, insert the card and re - start again. Have you tried the media card into a computer to make sure that it is always good and readable? Also, when in-camera slide down to settings and make sure that you "save on media card" "lit".

  • HP Envy 15 black laptop after the login screen.

The laptop was working OK up to now just get a black screen after login. I can hit Ctrl alt del, but nothing happens

    Hello

Try the following - this implies that you are under Windows 8/8.1.

Stop of the laptop and leave it like that for 10 seconds.

Tap here to f11 as soon as you press the power button until you see a message "Windows is loading.

On the next screen, select your Keyboard Layout and on the next screen, select Troubleshooting.

Select 'Advanced Options', and then select System Restore.

Click on yourcurrent system O and then wait as the system restore window opens.

Pick a point to restore at least 48 hours before that this problem occurred first and then proceed with the system restore.

    Kind regards

  • Problem re-installing VISTA after the removal of Windows 8 Preview Release, all I get is a black screen with a message "Not found operating system"

I recently tried Win 8 on my VAIO laptop spare parts on which I ran Vista, after having previously deleted all the files and documents (I don't use often the laptop). Having concluded that Win8 will really work correctly with a touch screen (and the display size was bad as well), I uninstalled WIN 8, understand that I have to re - install Vista from my rescue disks. This I tried successfully a few months previously to make a clean reinstall. However, after removing 8 WIN via the Control Panel, I can't re - install Vista now. All I get is a black screen with a message "The operating system not found" and the rescue disks do not register. What can I do? I like Vista (although I now run Win 7 on my PC) and really want to put it back. Grateful for the advice.

Well I finally fixed it by tweaking the BOOT BIOS settings and find something along the lines of VAIO Setup. I'm afraid, I just don't remember exactly what I did, but suddenly I found and ran 'VAIO Hardware Diagnostics' gave me a heart when it announced "no error was detected on the Vaio. Then I saw there was an entry for 'VAIO Recovery Utility - Recovery Wizard' and everything started to load. Since the 2 recovery discs I had. Finally, I ran MS Office and Small Business CD-ROM and now everything is back the way that it used to be. Here I had taken more note of how I got to the well Recovery Wizard. I hope that I never have to do it again!
