My computer hangs-enter a dump; then he said: it's my driver, and when I click on this prompt - it comes up with a solution of virus protection - what gives?
It can help to look at the files minidump against accidents with a debugger.
Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?
The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:
If you have problems to compress the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the desktop
In addition, you do not necessarily have compress the minidump files, you can download one at a time.
In addition, you are running the latest version of the antivirus software?

Satellite Pro L510 - crashes and blue screen
Hello
I am a new user of the Toshiba Satellite Pro L510, since last September, barely 3 months.
Recently, had met 2 crashes (2nd is today s). As it happened today, there are blue screen that appears, which included messages like 'crash', 'written' physical memory... etc.In addition to send it for repair for this new laptop, I don't know what is the best way to manage this accident and what might be the best way to prevent this accident.
Recently I installed programs such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008, anti-virus program (Sophos), which I think are necessary (the first was for my studies as well).
Would appreciate any pointers to advise me if these could be the causes of the accident, and that I have to do to keep the better laptop or y at - it any generic deficiency maybe I should take notes.
Thanks in advance for any advice for this laptop.
Kind regardsHey,.
First of all, I must say it is very difficult to say whether this problem is software or hardware related, but in most cases these accidents are caused by software or drivers...
I put t know how many programs you have installed, what OS you use and if there are compatibility problems, but you can test it yourself: Toshiba start recovery disc recovery facility. After that, you have the same settings that you have purchased.
You should examine it a little these parameters. If everything is ok, it was just a problem software or driver. ;)

conmputer crashes and blue screen appears and the computer restarts
my computer guard crash blue screen appears and then the computer restarts, reinstalled windows xp and the problem persists
If you reinstalled Windows, then you can be sure that it is hardware related.
The three most likely culprits are the processor, graphics or RAM card. Unfortunately exactly identify the problem will always be tricky unless you have access to the spare parts that you can switch to turn.Neilwww.nwarwick.co.UK -

Data url (data :) are crashing and laging browser)
Browsers support a pseudoprotocol ' data:' that analyzes the input as a file encoded in base64. I use this Protocol very often, especially for debugging, as it is not well implemented.
My questions about this:
Is there known hacks that would prevent Firefox does not (for even a few minutes), when data long what URL is opened (HTML page means long long, yet less than 1 MB)?
There the chances that something more practical apply for virtual downloads?
(Notice that I have write Google chrome.) This is because Firefox is just parsing the URL - and in fact, after the last update, it is immaterial).
After some research, it seems that the best answer would tell me, that in Firefox, the files can be backed up using Blob. GitHub user eligrey has also set up a framework of the compatibility of this feature : it uses base64 url as a fallback option.
It is a direct response to my question. But thanks for trying. It's still a mystery to me, though, exactly how it is implemented.

HP envy 15 t-j100: screen went white and caps lock flashing after update bios!
Update my bios to the latest version via app HP support and after it restarted the screen are empty and the caps lock flashing! What can I do about it?
Thank you for visiting @omidmiri.
Here on the Forums of HP's Support, you have access to many members of the community with solutions and suggestions to help. I understand that you have a problem with a black screen and the Caps Lock LED flashes after a BIOS update.
The led near the caps lock shift keys and numlock blinks if a fault is detected during the boot process. The LEDs flash multiple times in a sequence and then stops.
Please try to manually perform a BIOS recovery, as follows:
Turn off the computer.
Plug the laptop using the power adapter.
When the computer is always off:
Press on and hold the Windows key and the B key at the same time and then press in and hold the power button on the laptop for a second.
Release the power button and the keys.
By following these steps, the BIOS will reach the EFI partition in order to recover the BIOS to the latest known version of the BIOS from the hard drive.
Source: Documentation computer won't start not and Emits a LED or beep Code .
If this does not work, please use the above original document to calculate the number of flashes and troubleshoot accordingly.

You said the details of the error checking 0x77 - KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR. "This bug check indicates that the data page of the kernel of the required paging file cannot be read in memory." The reason for the inability to read the data were "STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT' -"{Device Timeout} the specified on HS IO operation did not complete before the expiry time."
Most likely, this could be due to a problem with the hardware, as a problem with your drive. These details, combined with your description of the problem, further suggests that this may be the case. Check your event logs (Event Viewer in the in Control Panel Administrative Tools folder) to the messages relevant or notable. You can also check the cables involving HD are nice and warm.
As your hard disk may be involved, you want to ensure you had a backup of your data before doing large thing (a backup good and verified, is never a bad idea, anyway).
Check the behavior in safe mode and the boot, as described below (follow the links):
To treat blue screens, following general tips:
Consider running chkdsk on all partitions. Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.
Also consider running SFC/scannow.
If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?
Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review. Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.
Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.
It may be useful to use the driver verifier. To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings - > then-> the names of the drivers select in a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all non-Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.
Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem. In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.
Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then transfer it to your SkyDriveand provide a link.

My pc stops and restarts a blue screen when there is an update to download and install. It is well after I installed the update. Is there an automatic Start Up in the "Local View" app that I can start
[Original title: updates Crash]
Hi William,.
If the PC crashes and displays a blue screen whenever you try to install an update, then it could indicate some other underlying problems in the computer. What was the error message displayed when the computer has started a bluescreen?
Alternatively, you can refer to this article for more information on blue screen errors:
