SD5010 DVD Player USB Toshiba problem

Hello

I recently bought this DVD player, when I play a movie through my USB always, it stops before the end of the film and cuts back to the main menu. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I tried resetting the DVD player and that didn't work. I deleted a few movies on the stick, and that did not work.

What is the USB itself? It's a 16 GB.
Thank you

Theoretically, it could be a problem of USB if strongly recommend to test this using an another sticks too.

    Need help!

My P200-1EE won't play HD DVDs. At startup the HD DVD software with an HD DVD in the drive, the drive displays on the screen, and after a short time returns an error. The message is ' + Toshiba HD DVD Player - impossible to output the video to an external device. Please change your display device by pressing the FN + F5 keys after the end of the application ' +.

Problem is that I do not use any display on the screen of the laptop. Only the screen of the laptop is available when I use FN + F5 suggestion. It does not cure the problem.

Drivers are up to date as far as I can tell.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I searched this forum for similar issues and I think I have a solution.
It seems that the Realtek audio driver causes this problem.

According to this Toshiba document a new soud driver installation will help you solve this problem of HD - DVD.

  • DVD Player Toshiba laptop not recognizing discs

My DVD player portable Toshiba Satellite M300 no longer recognizes discs.  When a disc is inserted, the player turns on but does not recognize that a disk has been inserted.  I have read that it is a problem with the installation of the Vista SP2 but unable to find a solution.  Can anyone help?

It is unlikely to be caused by the software (Windows), but is much more likely to be an optical drive down (hardware). Try to start with a bootable CD/DVD, your installation of Vista/recovery DVD for example (do not run recovery!) or a Linux Live CD. If the reader does not recognize the drive outside of Windows you will know for sure that the material is bad. Contact Toshiba technical support for replacement in this case. Hello
I had not used my DVD player for a long time, and when I tried to use it again the other day that he has stopped working. Where to insert the DVD and the DVD player provided Toshiba starts a message pops up saying
"Impossible for the release of the video on an external device. "Please change your display keys of the device by pressing the Fn + F5 after the end of the application.

I did what he said and further and have made sure the computer does not recognize somehow, another device connected to my laptop. All that shows is the LCD screen of the laptop and nothing more. No clue as to how can I fix? I don't have an external display at the moment as im at Uni. so I can't plug a hook to the top and see if it works like that and then properly close. • DVD PLAYER CAN'T READ DVD MEDIA IN THE STUDIO HYBRID DESKTOP

You will appreciate the help a lot about this question. I have the desktop studio hybrid 140G. For the past few weeks the cd/dvd drive rom played inconsistent dvd media files. But since last week it has completely stopped playing DVD media. Although it opens the audio cd and dvd software installation files. I updated the dvd player but the problem persists. On the control panel if I check the current status of the dvd player, it shows - works correctly. I am running windows vista and the cd/dvd rom drive is TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS - T633A ATA Device. Hopefully, there is a solution for this that I am running out of ideas. • His grave suddenly on a DVD player, but in the first, still and WM Player

    Hello

The sound on the DVD I burned in still suddenly falls to almost inaudible--but only when played on a DVD player! The problem does not occur on a computer (well in the first, still and DVD sounds good on all players like windows media, real player, etc.).

Drop noise happens in the same place, about 40 seconds in the 1/2 hour video. Then, the sound blasts at full volume for the end credits I inspected the 2 audio tracks in the first and track volumes do not change, nor my knots of volume control in the securities themselves explain the problem.

Why it would sound good in all applications on a computer, but not on a DVD player... and why the first 40 seconds would sound good on the DVD player?

I could hear volume of 'regular' dialogue in the left and much softer, but not absent, in the right. I can't guarantee this isn't an artifact on this end.

I think you have solved the audio problem at first. Looks like you have a stereo audio track from a source who had a microphone in a single channel. Instead of panning, "fill right" (or left, I always have to check myself on this) so that you get the dialogue on both sides.

I don't think that you dismissed a phase problem. But I suspect that when solve you the problem of the track, your audio will be correct.

  • If I get the dvd of recovery to win s 7 of the manufacturer, what problems is I meet when I try to boot from a usb dvd player

    Separated from this thread.

OK here is what I was asking.  If I get the dvd of recovery to win s 7 of the manufacturer, what problems I will get when I try to boot from a usb dvd player.  I worry because my computer is uefi firmware. should I disable secure boot, make sure the dvd usb drive first in the boot order.  What other bios setting I would be worried.

You will get a facility better if you find the ISO to create such media as discussed in step 1 of the clean reinstall Windows 7 follow these steps to get the best possible installation.  You can even create flash media if that's easier for you.

Regard to Recov disks that reinstall all the bloatware factory, Yes, you must disable Secure Boot in firmware that doesn't support UEFI to install Windows 7, and then start the media as a UEFI device.

After installation, you can pick up some performance and optimize the installation by following Clean Up Factory Bloatware .

You can also do a Clean install Windows 10 improvement using the Windows 7 product key, as this is explained in this link.   You can at any time change to Windows 7, even move back and forth until only is installed at the same time.

    Hello

I'm new here so I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not, if I'm not I apologize.

I have a Satellite P200-1EE and tried to play DVDs on Toshiba HD DVD player but everytime I try it comes up with an error message saying "an error has occurred in the audio output settings. Please check audio driver is set up correctly. »

I tried the update audio drivers but it tells me that I have already installed the drivers the best.

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    Hello

    What OS do you have?
    What is Vista?

If yes then another question; have you installed SP1?

Please also see the European driver of Toshiba page and choose your model of laptop.
There is a DVD HD v4.32.00 patch reader.
The other version 4.51.07 HD DVD player is a full version and if the patch won't work, then you must install the full version.

Any kind dbo know the answer to:

Could it be caused damage to run a USB connection external 3 1/2 "HD (160 g) - say a .avi movie - into the USB port on the front of the unit?

That is to say, power supply of the unit will be responsible for the extra bit Ok?

Or is this the wrong forum to ask this detail? :)

Thank you - everything you need to know about would of course be appreciated...

    See you soon

To be honest, it is Toshiba forum created for calculation problems.
In any case, check the drive specification to see if the USB port has enough power for external HARD disk. I had old DVD player and I could only use USB keys.

You can try to connect USB HDD to see if the drive will be recognized correctly. You won't damage anything.

  • Satellite Pro A300D - cannot play movies on a Toshiba DVD player

    Hi guys,.

When I play movies in Toshiba DVD player I get the following error message: "unable to output the video to an external device. Please check the external output setting after the end of the application. TEMPRO, I installed and tried to install all updates - some of them were for different hardware so wouldn't install.

I get a similar problem in Windows Media Player "Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with the digital copy between your DVD player and the video card protection decoder. Try to install a driver available for your video card. VLC player works fine. The drive otherwise normally functioning.

It's the same problem, as described in this thread: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=201029&tstart=0, but all the answers are a similar problem with HD DVD on a different model (P200).

Anyone know how I can fix this problem? I'm not sure I can be bothered to go back and reinstall Vista etc...

    Thank you
    Alex

    Hey Buddy,

According to the Toshiba DVD Player error message: are you trying to watch DVDs on an external monitor or TV?
In your case, I will try to reinstall the DVD playback software. This means delete the current version and then restart your computer. Then download and install the latest software from Toshiba DVD player.

But to be honest: it's that everything works with VLC media player as it s very big and small media player that can play all audio and video files. Isn t it? ;)

  • Screen keeps flashing using a Toshiba DVD player

My DVD player plays DVD video but the screen still flashes, can anyone help please?

You have an Intel graphics card?

Well, if yes then I know what could be the problem.

Primarily this question didn t appear initially. Am I wrong?

The problem is that the automatic update of Vista installed has installed a new version of the graphics driver on your laptop. To my knowledge, this could affect the Toshiba DVD player.

You must remove the installed graphics driver and should install one on the page of the Toshiba driver that is compatible with your laptop series.

    Check it out
