  When I'm on IE, I can type in the web address, hit "enter" and be directed to the place where I want to go. It is now in the Firefox application. Pretty weird.

  Try going to view > toolbars > Navigation toolbar. That will bring the address bar back.

  I also see that you are using an older version of Firefox. You should consider updating. There are many benefits to the latest version of Firefox. If you are interested, take a look at article of knowledge Update Firefox to the latest version.

  At the top of the screen on a page web I generally had the address in the top field and right, there was always a Google search engine. Now that the window has disappeared and all I have is a significant window of Wikipedia and I can get Wikipedia search results. It's like they have taken over.

  Have a project just converted HR 11 7 and when I generate WebHelp, the entry field and search button are not displayed.  The skin used (Default.skin) shows both options selected.  What must I do to get them to display in my WebHelp?

Now with the Internet Explorer that comes with Windows 8, I type in a Web site and that you click on and get a Bing search engine, which requires an additional step in the selection of the Web site, I just typed in the address from the Bing search engine bar.  I found that after you type the desired web address, I can avoid the search engine Bing by passage of the mouse to the small arrow on the right side of the address bar, but is it possible to simply hit and do the same thing or is my address permanently hijacked by Bing bar?

  I'm running on Mac OS X 10.7.4, Firefox 14.0.1. This problem did not exist until this last update of Firefox. Basically, a preferences panel opens each time data is entered in a field. It doesn't seem to be the same preferences panel you see when you open preferences through normal access Firefox, IE. Firefox > Preferences. All the choices listed in this special preference pane are specific to Firefox. I have a screenshot that I could include if wanted.
