Second series of recovery media

I have a Pavilion g7 laptop that came loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium. I mad a recovery media immediately set. I just used upgrade Express from Microsoft to upgrade my operating system to Windows 7 Professional. I would now like to create new recovery for this new OS media. The HP Recovery software will not allow a second set of recovery media. Is it possible to get to create this new set?

Thank you for that. I had already started an image with Macrium. The downside is that he isn't a Virgin upgrade, so my image taken 21 DVD. I will, of course, keep them as a fallback, but will probably buy an inexpensive external USB & rerun. I have a 'hard' together as opposed to a digital camera that is located on a hard drive that may fail. Well. Thank you to check what I feared would be the answer.

  • ProBook 450 - second series of recovery media, blue screens windows 7 (win 8 okay, not the hardware problem)

    I had a new HP probook 450 G1.

Immediately, I swapped the 750 GB for one SSD drive and tried to install Windows 7 from the recovery media. The operation has failed. Contact HP support, they sent new media.

I used new media. Windows 7 operating system installed. As soon as I install the drivers, the PC goes in a loop of the blue screen.

I can install the chipset drivers and wifi. Don't know what the other driver is causing the blue screen. I can also install from the windows media 8, so this isn't a hardware problem - wife hates just windows 8.

Basically, please either give me a few troubleshooting steps or I'll go back to the PC. I'm NOT insterested in a manual process long to determine which driver is the problem and the recovery download media manually the drivers one... should work.

After you have reinstalled the original 750 GB hard drive with the replacement media, I managed to an attempt to "recover". So, I decided to sit and try, by the process of elimination, all drivers.

It turns out that the technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver was causing the problem. When I installed everything BUT that, the laptop works very well. Notice that I use a fairly new SSD Crucial of M500. It is quite possible there are other people out there see it. You really need to install the driver of rapid storage technology, it is fast enough - not not even 100% sure what good to give the driver.

So I gave myself wrong guidance by the initial recovery of defective media. The second group of work recovery media, but the version of the driver intel 12.7.3.1001 does NOT work with the Crucial M500. I checked the Intel site for driver downloads, and it was not clear that they have a newer driver appropriate right now. Maybe someone else can tell?

  • Can I delete the second partition after recovery media creating?

    Hey,.

I just create recovery media, with 2 DVDs and I wonder if I can now delete the partition on the HARD disk, which contains a folder named "HDDRecovery" called 'Data'

I ask here because I don't want to do something stupid. Thanks in advance for the answer

    Hello

There is nothing special, just remove them as you usually do. The thing most important you have already made the recovery discs. :)

  • T60 WinXP - how burn you a second set of recovery media?

When I got to my T60, I tried to burn a recovery CD game.   Unfortunately, I ran out of media before completing any of the value and cancelled the it.

It seems that our friends at Microsoft have blocked me to burn a recovery CD second and complete set.  Leaving me without a complete set of recovery CD.

Anyone know what I need to do to be able to burn a full game?

    Thanks in advance.

There is no need to start from scratch! Just delete and re-install the Rescue and Recovery application in XP. Yet once, you will have the possibility to make recovery disks.

  • HP recovery media does not, need to do the second set of recovery on USB media.

    Hello

I have a new HP Envy laptop that I have created a set of recovery on six DVD media.  These work very well, but are a pain in the end to keep pending next DVD to load.

So I tried to make another recovery media and place it on a USB key.  Discovered, that it will not allow a second value created.

So I then ordered and paid for a recovery of HP media.  A beautiful labeled Microsoft USB key came. Great, I thought.

My laptop because of my fault I failed and wouldn't boot.  So I decided to use my new HP USB stick and after that go into the BIOS and disable the boot from USB stick and start secure etc as he said to it returned with an error that "this computer can not be recovered from this media!"

I then pluged in my DVD - ROM external and used drive recovery media that I did and it worked perfectly!

I tried the live chat with a technical person of HP and they checked the serial number and said I got what should work.  They could do a repair ticket and send the laptop.

It makes no sense to me as I have the unit upwards and running, but I wanted to know how I could get a USB work recovery media.

I ended up saying goodbye as they were of no help.

    My questions are:

    (1) why this media does not work?

    (2) is it possible to make a second set of recovery media?

    (3) is there a way to transfer my recovery media DVD 6 on a USB?

OLD POST > I first noticed the order said it was a pn 735088-002 and a sticker outside the wand that has the same number, BUT when he looks at a name on the flash drive is 735088-DB2... >

    UPDATE:

The new USB recovery media came today from HP.   He had again the same top part number that the original order has been 735008-002, BUT this time the corresponding came USB drive name to the tile. 735008-002 , I inserted this new media and it is fully charged.

Thank you for all your help.

  • HP ENVY Desktop - 750-167c: HP recovery media creation

I recently bought a HP Envy desktop computer and I tried to create a recovery media and I get a message saying that the partition does not exist. The machine is Factory reconditioned.

What are my options to move forward. I'm guessing that the mahcine should have this partition when it was "reconditioned."

    Thank you.

    #HPExpertDay

I suggest you call HP support that could take a command remotely on your computer to see what goes wrong, and then if necessary, they might send you a series of recovery Image factory (depending on the situation).

  • Satellite C650 14U: recovery media creates the recovery partition?

Hello, I used the recovery media creator to create a USB flash drive recovery media.

If I can use that to restore Windows 7 installation on a new hard drive (as the SSD) will be the drive itself have the recovery media on that partition?

So if I then lose the USB could restore again by pressing zero when turn?

Or it does not retrieve the Windows partition and nothing more?

    Thank you

First of all, the new hard drive itself has no partition recovery on it. The recovery partition is a copy of the system partition and locates at another location, therefore, restored from a recovery media unit contains just the partition system without recovery partition.

Second, if you have a recovery on a local disk partition, you can always restore by pressing zero when power on/off. If this isn't the case, I am sorry to say that you don't you have no source of food.

In third place, somehow, we can say that it only retrieves the system partition.

  • Is it possible to download the Toshiba Recovery Media Creator?

    Hello everyone,

I have a question on the Recovery Media Creator. Is it possible to download it from toshiba.com? Because I can't find it here... I deleted from my computer cell, just thought that I should not use anyway. But now I have to install a second time to remove stuff from my laptop.

Hope someone can help me here,

    Robin.

    Hello

To my knowledge, this is not possible because the Toshiba recovery disc creator is part of the image of Toshiba and it can be used only in connection with the files of images available from Toshiba.

If you would like to format the HARD drive and install the Win 7 OS own then Toshiba image files would be unavailable and the Toshiba Recovery disk Creator will not work.

  • Satallite L50-C-1FR - Question on recovery media

I recently bought a laptop Satallite L50-C-1FR. I deleted and added many applications. I used the Recovery Media Creator to make recovery DVD. During the process of textual information said that there is a recovery image on the hard drive. This is not specified, it is how to work my three DVD. They are independent from the image on the hard drive? Furthermore, I made these DVD after making a lot of changes for installed applications.

Is the recovery media I did register these changes?

When you buy the notebook you will get preinstalled with recovery image (factory settings). This recovery image is also recorded on the HARD drive and when you create recovery discs this image will be copied onto disks.

Please note: all applications available to you also will not be part of the package.

One day, when you want to have factory settings again please use the created disks and reinstall the recovery image. Of course, start with number 1 DVD and when necessary (display message) placed second or third DVD in ODD and continue the recovery image installation.

  • Portege Z930 - 10 p - ERROR recovery media: F3-F100-0008

    Hello

I used Toshiba Recovery Media Creator to create 2 recovery media on a USB for my Z930 flash drive - 10 p. Then I removed all partitions on SSD computers. The problem is that the recovery process will not work. In this case:

1 "Windows is loading files" appears on the screen
2 "starting Windows" and the Windows 7 animation logo appears.
    3. then the marker is displayed for a few seconds before...
    4. an error message * ERROR: F3-F100-0008 * appears with the instruction "Please press OK to turn off the computer."

I tried the two USB flash drives. What does this error mean?

Unfortunately I put t know what exactly Mans this code error, but on different forums people are speculating on some failure recovery image, memory or HARD drive.

In your situation will help any good answer. Problem is that you cannot use USB created recovery keys and at the same time you ve made the biggest mistake and removed the saved on the SSD drive recovery image. Now, it is not possible to start the HARD/SSD recovery disk image installation.

It is: what you can do now? You can try to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider, explain the situation and ask for help or advice. Otherwise, you need to order original recovery recovery image installation installation disc.

  • Recovery media creator does not recognize the USB 32 GB on Satellite L750?

I hope that there is someone here who can help you:

My computer is a computer L750 x 64 based Satellite and the problem is that the sound disappears after a few seconds, when I hear the music from Youtube.

I read in the preinstalled usermanual can I restore the computer pressing F8 when the computer starts, but it does not work.

The continuous computer just on Windows 7.
Now I want to restore the computer to the factory standard and will therefore use the Recovery Media Creator but it does not work.

I want to save data on a 32 GB USB key, but it will not recognize the stick.
I know that 32 GB is without error, because I can easily store / retrieve data either with FAT and NTFS systems.

What I am doing wrong and is there anyone who has a good idea, so I can spend?
    best regards Erik

Even if your USB is working correctly outside of the recovery media creator, this does not mean that it should be handled properly by this tool.

I had problems creating recovery DVDs even though I was able to burn video files on the same disk.
As far as I know you must take at least 16GB USB flash memory stick
    Usually, this should work.

But I m wondering why you are not able to use HARD drive recovery option. Have you changed anything on the HARD drive?

  • P7-1205: amount of necessary recovery media?

Media Recovery prompts the user to choose either DVD (s) or Flash Drive as a system recovery media, but gives no indication of how much will be needed. A single disc? Five disks? A GB flash drive. 32 GB flash drive? Would be nice to have an idea of how the media would be required to produce a recovery media before the start of the process that the process can be done only once (depending on the Wizard).

Does anyone have any idea how much needed medium (DVD or Flash) may be needed to produce the recovery media necessary for this system?

    Thank you.

PS. I am not a student.

    Don't know where it got.

    But I am retired.

  • NB205 error recovery media

I recently bought a NB205-N310BN-G, for which I thought was a good deal, but now having doubts. It came without an operating system, and the previous owner said it had deleted all partitions as well. No problem I thought and bought USB support of Toshiba Recovery, connected according to the instructions, switched to the USB option Start menu and here it goes on for about 10 seconds after it reads the device, it appears a screen titled above:

    Toshiba Recovery Media
    then he reads

    Error: F3FF000001
    then says in

    Press OK to turn off.

And as it turns out after pressing ok.

I check the bios and even reset to system default will sequence start and followed the instructions with the same result. I can't find anywhere what this code is, or what to do. I called Toshiba and the automatic answering service told me they have a new number for technical support, and then disconnects. As you can guess, it's very frustrating. Hope some can shed some light on this problem because I am completely lost at this point.
    Thank you
    Rick

Try to remove all partitions on the HARD drive, then run a HARD drive test to check bad sectors. Google 'Hitachi DFT' or 'Seatools '.

    > I don't have a free USB key to test the usb mode.
I recommend you to buy a separate USB memory key and to create the eventual recovery USB flash memory support.

  • Required for Satellite Pro A300-PSAG1E0 recovery media

Hi guys I have a bit of a problem with my laptop (Satellite Pro A300-PSAG1E0). Although some questions really

I had the laptop bought as gift second hand from eBay. Registration said the notebook had Downgrade XP support provided on DVD that he was not and that I could create a copy of the recovery media using the construction in software which is not that there is no creator thereon recovery software.

I believe that the laptop is running an illegal version of Windows, as the product key sticker says it is intended to be run Vista Home top and it works in windows 7.

The seller disappeared and he is not answering all of my calls. IM at my end of whits thereby as being a low income means that I can't really afford to buy an official Windows disk or recovery media.

Any help on how I could get the recovery disks or advice on how I can get a legal copy of Windows would be great. I also have it reported to microsoft as suspicious software.

    Once again thank you
