• moving my SQL Server to another host (with vcenter database)

  Hi all

  I am in progress to improve my environment at ESX4.0. Now I have to move my only SQL server VM to the new host, who is already on ESX4.0 level. My only SQL server hosts the vCenter as database. I don't have a vMotion.

  To move my SQL vm, I need to turn it off and then migrate my ESX 4.0 host. The problem: when the SQL Server is disabled, I lose connectivity to the vCenter server and therefore cannot migrate the virtual computer to another host.

  Is there a way to fix this, or is my only option to move the virtual machine in question off vCenter SQL database?

  The physical files of the VM for SQL server on an iSCSI box and will not change the location of the data store.

  Have you installed the JTDS JDBC driver still in SQL Developer.
  This is necessary before you get the tab connection for SQL Server and Sybase.

  you will need the JTDS JDBC driver for SQL Server, you can download the driver here:

  the JTDS supported for SQL Developer version is not the last but the following:

  When you have the downloaded driver, you can add it as a third driver JDBC and then you will be able to conenct.

  If you need to activate a link in your proxy I would suggest that you use the first so you will be able to download the drivers updated if necessary.

  MS SQL 2014 is not yet.

  Perhaps the next major release of vSphere will support it. Maybe we'll here on this subject at VMworld?

  So far I would say your client to not migrate databases of vSphere.

  If you are using Windows and you're using a USB connection, try the steps in this document: HP Laserjet products - "Device setup has not completed" or the "Unknown device" Message appears in Windows during Installation of USB. If the printer will not be updated of the Manager of devices in the two Solution, make a right click and uninstall the print device. It may be listed as unknown device, USB or Laserjet M1132 print media. Disconnect, then reconnect the USB cable to see if it will continue the installation.   Then I tried several solutions provided on different forums on the web. Now my system is set to English (United States), but the message still appears at the beginning of the installation of SQL.

  I have already downloaded "Vulcanize tabs" but is no help... I think it was a specific theme which allowed me to do this, but many of the topics do not work with this new version of Firefox.

  I think I'll have to wait until the themes are updated? Or, you have a better idea?

  I want to get rid of 'X' on each tab and have only one button close the tab on the far right of my navigation tabs bar.
