  a root is a designated port (if shipping port) on a non-root bridgewhich a path root the lowest cost to the root bridge. So there is nothing unusual here, and your kernel needs to be done to root bridge if you run STP between distribution and kernel as you apparently.

  Seems that when I'm grabbing an image placed in Indesign CS5, it automatically switches to the direct Selection tool and grabbing the image instead of its container. I'm doing something wrong? I have to do it several times before I can enter the container and the image, instead of just the image.

  Any tips? I've only noticed this in CS5.

  It seems the content grabber, see you a "donut" are also?  If yes go to view > Extras and click on hide content Grabber or go here and learn how to use it, apparently, some find it useful, personally I don't.

  I'm running VC 5.1 in a Windows box and want to migrate to VCSA running version 6.0. What I read, it must be simple. Disconnect the old VC hosts and add in the new Victoria Cross. All virtual machines must be left running. Once guests are simply in the new Victoria Cross to restore the config from the old to the new Victoria Cross VC Dswitch.

  When I tried to do it properly the host as well as its physical uplinks himself added to the config of Dswitch and all VM continued to run. The problem I encountered with the virtual machine, they may not appear in the groups of port on the Dswitch. If I look at the virtual machine to change the settings it shows that it is connected to the correct Dswitch. When I look at the related objects of the virtual machine network is empty.

  Hi, I talked to VMware support which confirmed when moving towards the VCSA to an installed Windows VC my process is supported. They informed me it of a known bug and can be solved simply by creating a new group of port with the aggregation etc. of all the same settings vlan give it a new name, then move the virtual computer to the new port group.

  I stumbled on a better solution. When you access the network adapter on the virtual machine that does not appear on the old port group, simply click on the drop-down menu link as if you want to change the network, but instead, he leaves it on the group from port. This seems to update the VM and it then appears correctly on the initial group of port, no pings are removed in this process.

  As far as to recommend one or the other, who goes really down to the current needs of the network, or the needs of the planned network. Review the features you need and ensure that these features are taken in charge by the switch. If both of the switches in the network needs more, I would then watch material currently being implemented on the network. S-series so much N works perfectly with other brands of switches. But if your shop is more familiar with Cisco, then the N-series will be the sweetest to streamline. If the network is composed of more devices Force10, then the S series can be the way to go.

• Choice of a fiber switch

  I'm planning a deployment wide network and I need a switch of fiber 10 GB to connect the distribution switches in a metro network to the data center. I need an infrastructure of high speed of each building to the data center through this switch, but I have no chance of finding the right equipment.

  Could you please suggest equipment Cisco that meets my needs, or recommend alternative methods/devices?

  EDIT: the scenario is a campus configuration. 10 separate buildings, between 50 and 600 m, connection to the center of a Datacenter and NOC. At least 12 ports. The goal is to have high-speed connections to all buildings, preferably 10GbE, using optical fiber for the distance. So far, I hope for a central L3 with ports SFP switch +.

  The type of transceiver LR requires single mode. SR requires multimode. Other than that, they work the same in your switches.

  If you have the option of specifying the fiber, you can maybe get several pair of mode both multimode and single and thus have the possibility of using the less expensive radios where you can get away with it. In general, the cost for the new wiring is mainly in installation - not raw.

  As a point of reference, the price list for the two transceivers I mentioned vs US $650 US $1 900 each for the long reach Singlemode short vs respectively reach multimode types. So with 10 buildings requiring at least 20 transceivers (one at each end - two at each end if you upgrade the redundancy), the cost can really add up.

  Yes the 3850-12XS (and variations of port 24 or 48) or switch 4500 X are very good choices. They are both all-SFP switches.

  Far the sg300-52, you have these functions plus text view cli coming in the next version of the firmware.  It supports more features and it's the next step for small businesses of cisco switches.  The sge2010 was the best of this last era, but in functionality, the sg300-52 summits.  Not to mention, you get your real 48 ports for connections and 4 additional ports for fiber or stacking modules that will be supported in the next firmware.

  I'm not going to encompass all of my code because it's something I've been working on people, but essentially, I have a dropdown list where the user can select the position of the text that is created later in the code. Basically, I'm having a problem with the switch statement. I made sure that the dropdowntwo of the var was equal to some string dropdown they select using the alert in the positioning of the function. (ie. If they choose "Lower left" in the drop-down list the variable dropdowntwo = "Bottom Left") For some reason any the switch statement always goes to the default value. Any help is appreciated!   When I select the text block with the selection tool, my cursor will move immediately to the text tool.

  I'm not double click, only clicking once to select.

  I don't want to edit text, select only the text block, so I can move it.

  Is there a way to disable this feature?

  Or maybe a tip and Trick so the tool rest the tool selection and not switch to the type tool.

  Senario:

  1. create an external network with 400 VLANS in vsphere Distribution Switch in two ESX server.

  2. create a VCD organization.

  3 create a pool of network supported by network isolation VLAN 300

  4 create an external organization routed network connection-NAT and select Network (VLAN 400) external and network pool (VCDNI vlan 300)

  5. create two virtual machines and assign the same network of the external organization that was created in step 4.

  6. If two virtual machines on the same host, they can communication or ping to each other.

  7. If two virtual machines in different hosts, they cannot communicate.

  Why step 6 and step 7 will happen? What I have set up wrong? Please advice on this.

  Right-click on the files and select information. Switch to the Options tab and change the kind of audio book.

  Depending on your version of OS X, audio books may appear in iBooks, but you stil control their sync via iTunes.

• A few gray Apple music songs and must be played manually, even if in a playlist.

  Songs from my iTunes library, downloaded from Apple's music, are gray and will not play in a playlist unless selected manually. Some of the songs had been able to normally play before, but have become randomly gray. I don't think that this is something "specific artist", as other songs by the same artist normally set.
