Send settings > > automatically retrieve mails via WiFi or 3G

Hi all, how can I configure my e-mail system (Treo Pro unlocked with WM 6.1) to recover emails by giving priority to a WIFI internet connection, and if it is not automatically find swith for a 3G / GPRS connection.

I have allways need to manually change in mail > tools > Options > "my mail" > change accounts configuration > Advanced Server Configuration > Net connection > and select Internet or WAP.

can it be implemented?

where and how?

Thank you

I think I managed to solve...

I chose "My ISP" as a communication connection. This connection has an option that is > "Automatic Selection", so if she checked he decided between your WiFI connection or your 3 G / GPRS.

It worked fine even with my POP3 e-mail accounts.

Remember to change this default configuration with one provided by your operator Celular GPRS / 3 G works correctly.

I can't send or receive e-mails via Outlook Express.

I can access through my ISP webmail.

In short and in laymans terms (I'm not a tech wiz) the automatic link between my ISP and Outlook Express does not work.

I also lost all my emails in the Inbox.

I run a Windows XP Home Edition.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Search for interference antivirus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  Then go to file | Identities and establish a new identity.  Add your email account and see if it works very well.  If so, you can go to file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

Then, if you lost messages, check the trash and the message of the old identity store bak files that are backups of dbx files that you can retrieve (see point 2 on the page above).  If there is no bak file, then my DBXpress program (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) has an excerpt from disc feature that will analyze the entire hard drive for messages and if they are still there, it will recover them.

  • problem sending files for MacBook Air via WiFi analyzed

I have an Officejet Pro8600 Plus and the interface is via wifi for my MacBook Air. I am running OSX 10.9.1.

When the document or photo is scanned, it looks good in the HP control window. I can change the functions of the analysis. When I type sent by using the button on the HP screen, it sends only the left 1/2 of the scan, and it is amplified.

I tried all settings to save the document and the scanner. The only one who seems to be the computer's analysis of general use.

He did it since about September works.

I found another setting on my icon of the HP scan dock that works with fewer steps than the capture of scan/Image of Apple.

The parameter is called general purpose. It gives the same picture with all the editing options available before the analysis is sent to the computer. This little less practice with other presets are included but still retains my scan at least no.

  • BlackBerry smartphones send/receive emails to business via Wifi

    Hello

Is there a way to define the place of "BOLD" to send / receive e-mails to company via Wifi when, in a trusted network zone?

Hi Kris_Stuart69 and welcome to the forums,

You should have no problems at all sending or receiving emails (BES or BIS) when connected to WiFi. When your "BOLD" is connected to the mobile network and WiFi at the same time, it will use the WiFi as the preferred connection. You can test this by making that WiFi is connected (connection-> Services Status Manager) and it will show you what service is currently being used for Mobile, BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Service voice. When BIS and BES show free 'WiFi', you would be able to turn off the mobile network and you will always be able to send/receive emails. Once you have done so, turn on the mobile network and you'll see the link always shows as "WiFi" instead of "Mobile network".

    I hope this helps

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not navigate or receive my mails via WiFi

Since getting my Torch9800 I was unable to use the WiFi connection only to surf the web, use the applications or simply download my mails.

To do all that I always have 'data services' on (i.e. go through my network provider).

    Can anyone help please.

    Thank you

    pwl13

    Hi pwl13

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums

Manage the connection > we must restore our data services, otherwise you won't receive any data on your 9800. Our BlackBerry browser will always choose the connection preffered, i.; e If you are connected to a wifi network, then he chooses wifi as preferred mode for data, not your network provider.

If you want to confirm, then when you are connected to a WiFi with data services ON, go in manage connections > Service status > BlackBerry Internet connection > you will always see the rather then Mobile WiFi network.

    Outlook express XP pro

Search for interference antivirus (see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3).  Do set up your new email account and set the parameters correctly for this under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties.

  • Emails from Smartphones blackBerry via Wifi

    Hello

I have a BB 9700. I live on the Seychelles and the packing of BB here is very very expensive. I'm looking for a solution to receive my emails (not necessary even push, traction would be enough) through my WATER at home. According to my investigation, I discovered the following

-To be able to receive emails on my BB, I always need to sign for the package of BB. Is this correct?

-My BB will always look for the faster connection. So if WIFI is available, it will go for the Wifi. Is this correct?

This means, I can sign up for BB package in order to receive emails. I would use the dataplan then not to receive emails. I check my email at home through my Wifi and NOT use my very expensive data plan. Yes the TI disadvantage that I pay a monthly fee only to receive my mails via Wifi. Sounds stupid, but I don't understand an alternative.

Is there another possibility? Can I install on my BB to another email program and set up to receive emails by connecting directly to a server pop3 (gmail) and through my Wifi?

    Correct, also.

Sorta OK. While the connection uses the WiFi connection, you always use services of BIS, which provides your month of membership.

It is not really one 'good' other choice, other than access to your Web mail server via WiFi Hotspot browser. Who won't be no pushing or pulling email on your device, you'll just check the Web server. Not a great alternative in my opinion.

    Another option is Funambol.

  • Access to corporate blackBerry Smartphones via wifi if e-mail isn't on a support

I have a torch 9810 via AT & T. If I turn the cell off the signal and just use wifi, I get all my emails professional very well. Don't need a cellular signal.

What happens if I cancel AT & T altogether and do not replace it with any carrier. Then I connect my blackberry via wifi to internet. Will I always have the corporate e-mail?

Part of me said 'Yes', because there is no reason not to. I can turn on the Bberry, connect it via wifi and get email. AT & T is superfluous.

Part of me said: 'No,' because I don't know, maybe that when I cancel AT & T, Blackberry (the company) "disqualify" me their server (or something) and therefore the phone is a brick.

Hello and welcome to the community!

BBs legacy (pre-BB10), all BB exclusive services, including e-mail, depended on an active account to BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS). The device itself does not have an email client full... depends on BIS in order to provide messaging functionality. And BIS infrastructure is hosted at carriers and BlackBerry - and is used for your email at any time, regardless of the channel (carrier or WiFi data network) that you have active on your BB.

So the long and short of it is that if you cancel your BIS account (due to the cancellation of AT & T), your email will stop working (because your BB will no longer be able to communicate with BIS), even if you only use WiFi.

The BB10 BIS is removed, replaced by a full e-mail on the device... so client, BB10 device can work perfectly for send only via WiFi, because there is no need to talk to BIS. But legacy devices must speak BIS.

    Good luck!

Edit... I just noticed the use of the word "business". If by that, you mean BES, then the same situation applies always... it is just a story of BES-level (from your carrier) instead of a BIS account which is required for features.

    See you soon!
