  I noticed your post on the scans of your Photosmart 6510, scan to your system from Vista in black and white. I want to offer my suggestions to you to see if they can help you with this.

  First of all, try to launch the HP print and Scan Doctor who is used to fix the printing and scanning problems. You choose the option "Scanning" when the tool is run. It will inform you if the software is completely installed, or if there is a problem, it can not correct. If it detects an error and shows you a red 'X', I suggest then uninstall and reinstall.

• How do two users share a computer (music, photos) in a single library but have separate iPhones (applications, contacts, etc.)

  I've hunted around so apologies if the answer is already pluse...

  My wife and I have an iPhone each. We have our own applications, contacts, e-mail, reminders, calendars (a little shared via iCloud for family stuff). We have a Mac. We want to be able to share a unique music library (caps to synchronize the different slopes for different phones) and a unique photo library. Until recently, I did this by moving the two libraries on a partition separate without permissions etc. I could connect to a user account for me and access, then log off and log in as my wife and access. Do not change fast and really I'm only using my wife log in as a place to save his iPhone, app, contacts data backups, etc. This is already in the iCloud.

  However, with the new application Photos it seems that you can share is no longer a single library between two users. I get permission errors every time that I load it. I connect both my wife, get the error, run 'repair permissions', then it opens. I go back to my account and now I can't open it, have once again to 'fix' etc.

  So the questions:

  1. is it possible to still share a unique between two accounts photo library, so that we can each backup / synchronize phones separately?

  2 - is the best way to do it? Historically, I guess I need two accounts on my mac to keep our separate data, but is it possible to have two iPhones sync for the same account, but keep things like contacts, separate application data, etc.?

  Yes. The way to deliver two users share the same Photos and iTunes without permissions library library (but only one user can access the library at the same time) is to put the library on an external hard drive that is formatted as shown in this screenshot and directly connected to the Mac via the USB cable Firewire, or Thunderbolt.

  

  Each would have its own account on the Mac so keep separate e-mail, contacts, etc.  Fast user switching can be configured, so it's easy to quickly switch between accounts.

  

  But when you are finished with the library each user must leave Photos if the library is available for the other user.

• PhotoSmart D110: Scan failure, failure of HP Solutions Center

  Well, I just moved to a new Lenovo PC Dell 6 years. The two are running win 10 64 with automatic updates. On the Lenovo printer funtion works fine, but I'm unable to scan. On the side of things, it seems that the HP Solutions Center is no longer installed HP for the MS side of things Windows think that there is no scanner installed.

  I followed all the steps listed for troubleshooting including:

  Turn things and turn it back on (duh!).

  Running of the HPPSdr several times.

  Uninstall and reinstall all the software on my PC HP.

  Re-run the HPPSdr and do a full install (another).

  All this without result.

  I have also installed the HPAiO Remote app (which seems to be the replacement of HP for the center of solutions) and it also reports that "HP AiO Remote is not able to scan from the printer".

  HP website reports that HP can't stand the printer.

  So, my guess based on all this is that the latest driver HP deleted the scan from the Desktop feature. My inner conspiracy theorist think it's just a conspiracy to get me to buy a new printer. My Inner Economist think that HP does not want to spend more money on an "obsolete" product and left scanning support to get me to buy a new printer. My realistic interior think some dope just forgot to cut and paste the code analysis functionality in Win 10 driver and this minor oversight through QC.

  Did somebody solve this problem?

• Photos appear in the portrait, but some print in the horizontal form

  When viewing photos in pictures, they are in portrait mode, but when you print a contact Board on Win 7, some print horizontally. It is not possible to correct using the paint to return or turn right or left.  I copied the file to a USB key, it in an old XP, copied the file to my images, all selected and sent to the printer as a 35 Contact sheet. All photos printed correctly in portrait mode.

  I checked several sites to find answers.  Found the same problem in a matter of March 2012... but no one has provided an answer.  I hope that there is a difficulty softward for the problem.

  I gave you the wrong software he used.  Is that it allows to change the photos of Picasa3.  Is Microsoft Office 2010.  He clicked on the photo which would not remain in portrait when you print a Contact sheet.  He then opened MS Office 2010, clicked on the right to edit and crop. Then he chose the Ratio of Aspect (8 x 10) and the landscape; cropped the photo and saved under a new name.  Worked very well.

• My raw D7200 photos do not appear in the catalog but my D7000 are.

  I can import it, edit and export the photos of my D7200, but they do not appear in the catalog folders in Lightroom. I have Lightroom CC and Windows 8.2. When I try to re-import them, it is said that they apparently are duplicates of those already in the catalog, but they are nowhere to be seen. If I import with the D7000, they show in the file immediately.

  Check your setting to import when importing this D7200 camera images. Check the location for the same thing. Check if a preset is applied.

  To find this folder, they go to right click on one of the images D7200 and select Show in Finder/Explorer (according to your operating system), and a file Manager window opens in the folder in which it is located. Search for this file in the folder list in the LR library module (must be there).

  All the test prints are very good.  I have cleaned the print heads, broken cartridges.  I just replaced all the yesterday.

  Today, I can't print black.  The documents are great dimmed or blank pages come out.  I use a MacBook 2007, 10.6.8.  What else do you need to know?

  I see you have a recurring problem of print quality with your HP Photosmart 7510 e-all-in-one printer.  I want to help you with this.

  What you describe, it seems that you tried all HP recommended troubleshooting steps.  Fortunately, given that your printer has a removable printhead, there are some other steps you can take to address the issue:

• Plugin to scan Epson appears "works" in CS3, but not in CS5

  I was using a scanner-printer Epson Workforce 635 and have works perfectly from within Photoshop CS3 by using the file > import > epson plug-ins.

  This does not work in CS5. I just slipped and fell the plug-ins CS3 plug-ins folder in the plug-ins folder to CS5, but it does not at all appear in file > import, nor don't the twain plugin which I also used in the old version of Photoshop.

  Is there a different way I want to handle this in CS5?

  It's probably a single 32-bit plugin, did you run Photoshop CS5 in 32-bit addressing mode?

  The oldest TWAIN plugin does not work, you must download the plugin from TWAIN for Photoshop CS5.

  Yes, you can see the caption under the pictures in mode in the library grid.

  Go to the view menu > options > check "Show grid Extras" > make sure legend is selected under low label under Compact cell Extras.

  You can double-click any image in the library module to view it in full screen and double click again to return to the display of the grid.
