Server address error

I'm a computer novice and bought user my gateway a year ago.  When I was installing my windows programs, I have to enter the wrong server 'POP3 '?  I was not able to understand how to change it yet so I can't use my web cam or send/receive anything through a windows program. Could really use a step by step to change the address and get my windows running programs.

    What should I do?

    The way this is supposed to work, it's that your main router obtains the DNS server address of an upstream (on the ISP network) server. The wireless access point or router (router in bridged mode) next level gets its the main router DNS addresses. All subsidiary wireless access points get their the next upstream router DNS server address. Your Mac gets these addresses from the router or wireless access point when it gets its IP address.

    It is possible that you may need to turn off all routers, then feed their place in the order of the modem to the outside. But once that happens it is likely to have on them.

    If no joy in doing that, don't use the Admin user on your main router to see what should be these addresses, write them and enter them manually when you need it.

  • Web Services problem - server connection error

    Hello world.

    When I try to enable Web Services, I get an error. I am connected to internet (WiFi) and the connection is ok.

    The error is:

    Server connection error

    The printer could not connect to the server. Check the internet connection and try again, or enter a proxy address.

    I do not have a proxy, and the internet connection is ok! Why do I have this problem?

    Thank you very much.

    We will set an IP address of the printer:

    -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
    -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
    -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). You can find the beach DHCP from the router using its internal settings page or in its manual. Use the CD that came with your router or type the IP address of the router (ends para.1) in a browser.
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the bridge and the first DNS. Let the second white.< the="" dns="" could="" be="" your="" problem.=""  if="" this="" does="" not="" work,="" try="" google's="" dns="">
    -Click 'apply '.

    Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

    After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

    Series of photosmart HP 7520. -J' am trying to scan a document to send and keep getting the message "server connection error" despite the fact that WiFi is showing as connected. I'm not very good with technology! Can anyone help please?

    Hello Alleycat1. I understand that you have a problem scanning to e-mail, about the connection to the server. If you follow the troubleshooting in this HP document, the issue should be resolved, as it contains troubleshooting for this error message: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay/?sp4ts.oid=4022328&spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay&spf_p.prp_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c02524629-11%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

    If these steps do not resolve the problem, I would like that you follow these troubleshooting steps (assuming you're the App on the front panel of the printer):

    1 Select the Web Services on the Panel forward, then settings.
    2. Select "delete web services" and wait as the services to be eliminated.
    3. Once finished, you will return to the home page.
    4. Select the Web Services icon on the printer and go through the steps of installing Web Services once more.
    5. you will receive a more recent code. Later, you can use this code to add the printer to your account eprintcenter.com hpconnected.com / using this code.

    6. you can, or that you may create another email address.

    7. try a different scanning to e-mail using the app.

    Please notify me when all troubleshooting is done, and I'll continue to help you if necessary.

    2. rebooted router

    3. Enter the IP address printers 192.168.1.84 and began to establish the connection.

    However, the printer works fine on PC Windows 8 and the iPad or the iPhone.

    Please help as we would like to again access coloring Disney pages.

    Well, try to change the network ipv4 only protocol

    you need to get the ip address of the printer first, and then open any web browser, then try typing the ip address of the printer on the url, after that go to the network tab > networking > network protocol > check on ipv4 only > apply

    If it does not work.

    try going into the menu of web services and delete web services and then re-enable back.

    PS: it will remove the ePrint printer address, you can no longer use the same address of electronic mail of the printer, if customize you it.

  • B210A Photosmart - server connection error and does not connect to the wireless router

    I have problems setting up and to connect my router to my new printer b210A. Everything goes well with the initial configuration, and when asked to connect to the network at the start, it works. Then he said that the printer requires updates, downloads of updates, reboots, asks me if I want to activate eprint and as soon as I said 'Ok', I get a "the server connection error" and it is then no longer connected to the network. When I get out of the "server connection error" screen and attempt to reconnect to the network, he says 'Success', prints a Test report wireless, but never connects.

    It's the 2nd printer that I have had in a week, given that the person of HP online chatting told me my first printer had problems of "hardware", after experiencing the same problems and I'll be recommended. So - I did, and now I'm running into the same issues. The number of 800 was NO HELP - after recommended I have unplug and reconnect, then telling me there were server errors (when the printer was not connected to the network).

    We will set an IP address of the printer with a special focus on DNS domains:

    -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
    -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
    -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway

    -For the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the second use.
    -Click 'apply '.

    Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

    After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Please enter IMAP server address

    I'm running on Adobe Acrobat Pro XI (11.0.10) and every time I try to use the file/send file I get the error message: Please enter IMAP server address.

    I tried to fix, uninstall/re-installing Acrobat and also Office (Outlook) but same error message.

    Please notify.

    I was finally able to resolve this problem by updating to delete the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\11.0\FeatureLockDown\cWebmailProfiles\tDefaultProfile

    The current value is "null", so just delete that no one and leave the field blank.

    Keep in mind that this registry key will be overwritten if you repair or reinstall Acrobat Pro and you will need to update it manually again. Also check your windows GPO maybe this key will be updated / replaced by them.

  • Cannot pair VRMS servers - VRM Server generic error. Unexpected status code: 404

    I have been setting up SRM in accordance with the documentation and am at the part where I have a VRM server configured on each side. My next step on the vSphere replication tab is #3 'set up the connection VRMS. When I click on the "Set up the VRMS connection" link I get a dialog box stating: "do you want to configure connection VRMS? I click "Yes" and I get another dialog box stating: "VRM Server generic error. Please see the documentation for troubleshooting information. The detailed exception is: ' unexpected status code: 404'.»

    Anyone seen this before? Do you know how to solve?

    Thank you

    think that it is a known bug that should have been in the "known issues" section of the release notes, but did not for a reason that I'm going to check that out in their own country.

    It seems that during the installation of SRM, vCenter was specified by DNS, while during VRMS vCenter configuration was specified by an IP address. These two must match. IE, if you use DNS (FQDN) in one place use it in other institutions. In my setup, I used addresses IP for both entries during the installation process and does not see any problem.

    If you don't you remember how you have defined vCenter in the SRM installation screen, then I guess the quickest test is to redeploy and configure devices VRMS and doing the opposite of what you did just that is to say if you just use FQDN in the VRMS screens when he talking about vCenter using the IP address instead and vice versa.

  • UTL. MAIL error ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 syntax of address error in

    Hello

    I'm new to the forum please excuse if I post not properly without standards.

    We need to send mails using the UTL. MAIL package and installed them on the database.
    Whenever I try to send an email, I get the following error:

    ERROR on line 1:
    ORA-29279: SMTP permanent error: 501 syntax of address error in
    [email protected]
    ORA-06512: at "SYS." UTL_MAIL", line 654
    ORA-06512: at "SYS." UTL_MAIL", line 671
    ORA-06512: at line 2

    The test code that I am running is:

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > 'test < [email protected] >',)
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    I tried different combinations:

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > "test"< [email protected] >"")
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    even tried

    BEGIN
    UTL_MAIL. Send (sender = > '[email protected]',)
    recipients = > "[email protected]"
    subject = > 'test UTL_MAIL subject. "
    message = > "UTL_MAIL test body");
    END;

    Whenever I get the same error.
    It seems to work with a server exchange e-mail, but never on the SMTP server.

    In the SMTP address of the sender server logs is not to have the <>of brackets unlike other emails that are sent to the course.
    It seems that the SMTP server is quite strict and the SMTP administrator will change all the settings on the server.

    The version of oracle is as follows

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production

    Could you please help me with a solution.
    Some how the brackets are undressing (which usually UTL MAIL package), is it possible that I can include the brackets.

    I don't like UTL_MAIL - UI abstraction clumsy and poor and not very well written.

    Had a look at the code. It does this:

    WHILE (ALL_RCPTS IS NOT NULL) LOOP
          UTL_SMTP.RCPT(MAIL_CONN,'<' || GET_ADDRESS(ALL_RCPTS) || '>');
    END LOOP;

    The process function GET_ADDRESS() ALL_RCPTS parameter, returns the address 1 of him and updates (in and out) parameter with the remaining string.

    SQL> var address varchar2(200);
    SQL> exec :address := ',[email protected]';

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL> exec dbms_output.put_line( 'get_address='||UTL_MAIL.GET_ADDRESS(:address)||' address='||:address );
    [email protected] [email protected]

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL> exec dbms_output.put_line( 'get_address='||UTL_MAIL.GET_ADDRESS(:address)||' address='||:address );
    [email protected] address=

    PL/SQL procedure successfully completed.

    SQL>

    The address is explicitly surrounded by square brackets in accordance with RFC. So what needs to see your SMTP server.

    If this isn't the case-maybe then our UTL_MAIL versions do not match. I don't remember what version I pulled and unpacked UTL_MAIL package code I have.

    Personally, I stopped using the UTL_MAIL earlier. Missing in may points. I wrote my own e-mail package that supports multiple attachments, formatting complex Mime, attachments of 20 + MB in size and so now - running on the UTL_SMTP interface (which provides for mail transport layer). And for the problems you are having, I suggest considering using UTL_SMTP directly.

  • There was a problem connecting to the server 'SERVER NAME' error guard appearing

    There was a problem connecting to the server 'SERVER NAME' error guard appearing even though the server is not on my current network.  I recently moved my iMac to a different location and a different network, and now he constantly tries to connect to the old server.  This message appears every 30 seconds and several of those who appear (see pictures) it's extremely frustrating because it makes the machine almost useless because I am constantly closing them.  No matter how many times I try to stop the activity monitor it it keeps reappearing, and I even tried a few terminal commands that I found online, then restarted the computer, but still had no success.  I would appreciate all the advice really.

I checked the forums and someone said to go into apps and download the application. It did not work. I rebooted and tried everything, which he expects. Yet, nothing. Is this error to do with something outside as the real servers HPs - or is this something internal that I can fix it? I went as far as I can without resetting to factory settings (which I am fearful because I recently had the country code has changed on this issue and do not want to return to the country of origin), someone has any suggestions other than what I've sifted through the forums already?
