I'm not real computer, so when setting up my email account, I have no idea about whethter I use POP3, HTTP, or one of the others. Nor do I have no idea anything on incoming server names or out emails.
I need to get this set up. I tried, but keep the error message: "the pop3 host is not found. Please check that you have entered the server name correctly. Account:
, server: pop3, Protocol: POP3, port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, SocketError:11001, error number: 0x800CCC0D. I need to get this set up and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Until you configure an e-mail account, you need the following:
Call your ISP (internet service provider) or your mail server, ask them to give you the following:E-mail address
Your user name
Passwarod
Name of the incoming server
The name of the outgoing serverWhen you have those, also ask if they can help you set up the email account or if they have a Web site that will teach you how to.

After setting up my account on iPhone6 (iOS 9.1) all messages appeared: No sender; No subject; 12/31/69. Editing does not have any message to delete. Messages can be sent ok. I sent a message from my office, on the phone, and while it was received, it was posted exactly as above. -----The problem is that all THE account recovery options are sent to the second e-mail address (aol.com), and I can't create a new account with the log in E-mail address (gmail.com). The only option microsoft support gave me is "use automatic account recovery system, because Automation is the only way for us to verify that you own the account. This does not work, several times, and microsoft technical support will not help me further and went as far that does not not to my support tickets, after having given the same answer (almost a copy and paste exact) to multiple tickets (ie: telling me to use the automated system, then close the ticket without checking my problem is resolved).
I don't know why they can't just send a verification e-mail to the account that I connect...
Now, I don't really care at this point if the account is deleted at this point, however, I would like to have my account back and/or related to this email before waiting for an entire year so that it can be deleted.
And if anyone thinks that sticking to this account is the best option, I only use it for support, because apparently you have to create an account before you can get technical support options, or know who to contact and how. I used this email to create this account, but this email will probably be deleted in the next year (ie: this account will help). I need support now.
So I don't know how to get support or set up an account with my gmail account. If anyone can help, or know who to contact to get this resolved, let me know.

I'm having a problem setting up my accounts e-mail and access to internet on my 8830 Verizon Wireless. Sorry I'm kinda a n00b this is my first blackberry. Thus, everytime I try to put something it says I have to create a blackberry account which is fine and dandy, but it won't let me because it says that my PIN is already activated, now I buy this phone. How can I do accept my new account and letme registry?
I will also upgrade the operating system on it (even if my thinkpad comes to die what numbers) which version of desktop software works best?
Good so I called Verizon and they were confused at first but after being on the phone for a while with a very useful technology, they understood him out and set up my email for me. It turns out that I have to use the user name that is already registered on the phone, so the guy that I bought username. They wiped out its old email (I hope, you just don't lose all your emails wherever you are) accounts and set mine to and let me change the password. Everything works now, just waiting to get my thinkpad broke stupid of the STI in order to update and sync with my outlook calendar.
