  Try to "Place" instead of "Import".psd files  When you place the images, you have the possibility to link the files and then again when you save as > EPS.  You have probably inadvertently incorporated the .psd files.  The right method of importing image files using the file > place command.

  If you ask how a file on the remote site via FTP without FTPing any dependent files?  That the answer is Yes, you can do this by changing the SITE > dependent files: option in the PREFERENCES to enable the option "prompt on put/check-in."  The next time you download a file, you will be asked if you want to also download dependent files.  If you say NO and check the don't ask again option, then you will always simply load the file and not the dependents. You can change it back at any time by changing the preferences of this setting.

  I realize that CS6 is 64-bit. I have fixed 32-bit because of the CS5.5 plugins.

  Two questions, I've noticed so far with CS6.

  1. that I open a document, the Enable selection drop down at the bottom of the window is not set to anything. I always selects the Documents readable by all. Not the case in CS5.5, who was always default readable to all documents. Could not find anything in the Prefs to this question.

  2. When you save a document, RGB or CMYK, the drop-size selection are not accurate.   I can play all my videos in Windows Media Player very well, both video and audio.  So it seems that my machine is able to read the files correctly in this program.  However, it seems that the audio drop out when I import the file in first.  The program was pre-installed on my computer and when I have a look at the audio settings, it doesn't seem to be a possibility to change the settings to something different.

  So far, I've spent a long time googling and trying to find a solution, but without any joy immediately.

  Enjoy the anyone can offer any assistance.  Is it just a simple setting I need to change?  Or I have to somehow convert the files in a different format before Elements 7.0 can read?

  the machine I have appear to be consistent with the specifications required by PE7 (and given that it came with pre-installed PE7 which should be the case).

  There are two things to consider:

  1.) edition of most of the images, especially material to SD

  2.) editing AVCHD, currently the most demanding of all popular video formats to edit. That's what you have.

  Now when you launch the pre, you get a splash screen. There you can open new create a new project, open an existing project that has been recently opened, or open a project by browsing to it. We can also leave.

  In your case, you go again and when the dialog box opens, choose the preset for AVCHD w / DD 5.1 SS Audio.

  Also note, that in the Edit Mode, there are two Modes of display (access via two icons to the left of the lower panel), view timeline and sceneline view. For DD 5.1 SS Audio Clips, you will find Timeline View Mode to be the best. Now, you can switch back, but the timeline view Mode will give you infinite control.   Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  Currently when I scan in the documents to be saved in synergy (programme of work) I have to manually change the type of file to PDF format.  Is there a way to default showing all files when you save a scanned document?
