Setting up email for blackBerry Smartphones

Hi guys!

I just started to use the bold 9900 and I want to configure my mail. The problem is when I want to configure the e-mail it will still ask for activation of the company. I want to configure internet messaging.

I search for a video by vodaphone in youtube and the configuration is different from mine.

If you are only offered the choice of a business email configuration, is because the phone has already been used on BES and politics of TI has not been cleared or your plan monthly data from your provider is not properly set up.  If you have received the new phone to your carrier, call them to discuss the implementation of your BIS correctly.  If you bought the used phone, there is always a policy which must be removed.

I hope that helps you.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones for setting up email for BlackBerry Bold 9700

I have a BB Bold 9700. The phone is wiped and I unlocked it. I want to use it in Europe with a prepaid SIM, including internet and email. When you try to configure e-mail the phone does not allow me to uncheck an e-mail account to work with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. It is the only option given, so I can't go forward. What should do? Any help is appreciated

    Hello

All the services are controlled and delivered by the mobile service provider. If they tell you that they do not support the BBs through SIM prepaid plans, then it is what it is.

Each company control services they support with different service plans they offer. Some allow the BBs on prepaid plans. It is up to each company to choose what they will provide.

Email on a BB is not only function of any kind of BlackBerry® App, rather, it's a service that requires the use of servers and others, hosted by carriers and the BlackBerry that allows to send to work on the BB. These servers are for BB users only and therefore require subscription to a data plan that allows access to these servers... What that be cost factors a company decides (each of them choose themselves).

So, in the end... If that carrier tells you that pre-paid plans do not for access to the exclusive services BB and you must have a contract plan of them to allow this access, which is an authoritative answer, since it is the only source that can know this answer. You might get an answer different from another carrier, since each of them defined their own plans/rates/services.

    Good luck!

  • Incoming emails for blackBerry Smartphones

My Bold 9930 received incoming emails faster they go on my PC (Outlook).  Now, they take almost an hour appears on my smart phone or don't show up at all.  Is a Blackberry server problem or is there a setting on my smartphone, I can change?

If the device is taken and you are on a BES I would contact your administrator of TI. They may have information about what is happening. If you do not change anything on the device, then it is probably not that you can do. I start by contacting Sprint and ask them to make sure that everything works correctly in your area.

  • Email for blackBerry Smartphones application is greyed out on BlackBerry desktop software.

I have the Blackberry desktop software version 4.5 installed on my computer. I can't access the E-mail application because it is grayed out. When I try to access it I get an error message "this computer does not have his account address message. The messaging system is not configured properly or this e-mail system is not supported. "I use outlook for my email. I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330. It is updated with version 4.5. The software recognizes the phone. All other programs are available.

It's on a computer at home?  It seems that you have installed the desktop using the BES software / redirector option.  Redirector is designed to work with a server exchange; If you are using your home PC with a POP/IMAP e-mail address, the best solution would be to reinstall the Desktop Manager using BIS (located in the Setup Wizard), and then use the Blackberry Internet Service to configure your POP/IMAP e-mail.  With this configuration, you will over see the e-mail settings icon because it will no longer apply.  When you use the redirector on a computer that is not on an exchange server, you can receive messages on your device that say "this message is used to carry data between the blackberry and the server... ", which can be quite annoying.

  • Email for blackBerry Smartphones is no longer being delivered

Around noon today (8 hours), my Blackberry stopped receiving emails.  I have three accounts POP, who received by e-mail since then, but that none have been forwarded to the BlackBerry.

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Ah Ah. Just turn on the radio. On the main screen just go in the icon manage connections. Then place a check mark in the box Mobile network. See if your signal turns to either 1 X or 1XEV.

  • Email for blackBerry Smartphones is going to the SMS Inbox

    Hello

I would like to know how to stop my e-mails to my SMS Inbox! I have a Pearl 8100.

If anyone knows, I would really appreciate it

    Thank you

    X 2 ^ ^ ^

Messages is the catch all for all messages in all types of all accounts. A separate SMS/MMS icon can be created according to the levels of certain BONES (you already have the instructions for that above). The BIS-based emails will show in their independent icons, but they all will also still show in the main Messages icon. If you have BES, your messages will be only one default show in Messages, use alternating with everything else. If you have BES and you want to split out, say so and we will provide you a few ways to do this. But Messages will always be the Tote.

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!

My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.

I have not added any application or change anything

I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing

    So no idea?

I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight

Hello and welcome to the community!

I know you said you tried some things, but I don't know if you've done these steps exactly. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • Problems of email to blackBerry Smartphones

    I'm unable to access e-mail.

After entering my user and password, it indicates there is a problem and suggest you contact gmail.com.

However, I am in the right username and password (works on other devices very well) and it was working properly before.

    How to remedy?

    Thank you

OK... and what was your result of the search of the public data base KB? I found this... may or may not apply to your situation, but give it a quick glance:

    • Article ID: KB12288 Impossible to integrate or validate a Google Mail with BlackBerry Internet Service account

Otherwise, with a strong support network signal (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

  • Problem with email notification blackBerry Smartphones

HIII everybody... I use bb9320curve with os 7.1, until a few days back everything worked well, in my opinion if it was my friends or community mailer. Then due to several reasons, I disabled my internet connection for a week, now, even once, I enabled the internet, I received a message that in 20 minutes I start receiving my notifications by e-mail, but nothing happened. I have not received all messages on my phone (but a lot through my Inbox in regular line).  I tried to reboot, perform a hard reboot by removing the battery while on and so far nothing has worked. Then I get notifications only when I receive by email from the community forum of bb not other e-mails that are my friends, I know it sounds crazy, but that's what happens. Can anyone suggest me the solution.

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.
