Settting of report interactive user customized - cool savings generals?

What, if any, is overload by allowing users to save their own settings custom interactive report? I looked through all the documentation and I was not able to find something about how the settings are saved and what is the associate overload by allowing end users to do.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mean overhead in terms of storage or performance?

In my opinion the benefits certainly outweigh the disadvantages here (if users can create/filter/etc. their own reports without having to return to developers, then it costs is well backed up generals).

However, I appreciate that in high volume sites, it would be undesirable to have a large number of end users, creating "unlimited" amounts of custom reports themselves. Perhaps a future improvement could be made to be able to limit the number of reports by user? Although realistic, I doubt many users would create hundreds / thousands of report parameters, if really there a matter of economies of scale?

    I'm fairly new to Apex and very vey would appreciate your help. We currently use Aplicaiton Express 3.2.1. I'm trying to limit the display of the lines in an interactive report by USER ID in my APP_USERS table, which contains the following columns:

    APP_USERS

    NAME
    RID
    E-mail
    ROLE

    The table my interactive report based on includes the following columns:

    SC_TABLE

    MONTH
    NAME OF THE USE
    LM_NAME
    ETC... (numberical data columns)

    I use an authentication scheme that verifies users RID when you access my application of our work network.

    The process of information flow is the Manager of the line between data in a form and chooses his name in a LOV based on the APP_USERs table. Once submitted they can access the interactive report.

    My goal here is that, when a line Manager accesses the interactive report only the emplooyes rows that match their name in a column of the report OR their identity card of the APP_USERs iarereturned. So no superiors can see or modify other hierarchical employee information.

    I played adding SQL statements in the report area > Condition section but have not been able to come up with something that works. Any suggestions on how to implement this or tutorials you know that might help.

    This is known as Fine grain Access Control (FGAC) and is normally implemented using views or private virtual database (CAE) of Oracle functionality.

    If you are allowed to use an Enterprise Edition database and to apply these restrictions, through the entire application, or across multiple applications, then use of private virtual database (DPV), with the VPD security attribute in APEX application security attributes to set the settings in your application. (A somewhat outdated article on the use of VPD with APEX is available.)

    Should you not use EE, then you can roll your own VPD use parameterized views, once again using the security attribute VPD to set the context of the application.

    No, no, nothing is more required SMTP side if his performance of the iBots for IDS in-house.

    If you set up SA_SYSTEM correctly, you can send reports to users non-obiee as account gmail etc.

    Try steps below...

    1. create and save a report using your logon fields and the SA_SYSTEM EMAIL that contains the people you want to send the report. Or by email or logon information must be an OBIEE user that exists in the RPD.
    2. create an iBot and under the general tab, the visibility of the non custom data value and run as an administrator account.
    3. set the conditional query on the report you made in step 1.
    4. for recipients, check the box, "to determine the recipients of conditional query. The "column that contains recipients' must be set to 'connection '.
    5. If you want to save the ibot to a shared folder, and then check the box 'Release for subscription' no otherwise.
    6. choose your content delivery and all other options and ensure that planning is set on immediately if you want to get out immediately.
    7. Save and send to any email address that was on the parole request.

    I did experiment with Foglight NMS for the past few weeks. I have search in the forums and hunts around the tool, but I've not found a way to generate a report on a custom period.     While we do not have a report which shows the range you're looking for, you can see the use of bandwidth via NetFlow. I know it is not a report, but could be able to show the amount of data sent over the network for a period of time. Lies and must have the feature seen on the road map.

    There is no declarative support for generating links conditionally to line level in interactive reports (or indeed in the standard reports). Set the IR link column property to exclude the link columnand generate the link in the request in the original report. Set the Type of display attribute for the column Edit to report Standard column.

    Have you checked RenameLeaf and RenameLimb system preferences?  I think that by default, only the administrator can change the name of the node, but you can grant this possibility of additional roles.

    I found the answer to my question by navigating through the java scripts in Apex.

    So, this is what works:

    gReport.last_col_id = "BCV";

    gReport.column.order ('DESC');

    Where "BCV" is actually your name of column position, you can send it by a Page Item and means of descending "DESC" and "CSA" means growing.

    I hope this helps other people too.

    I don't think that there is a way to disable. If you look at the shortcut create a shortcut to a business rule, then it just gives you an option to run the rule even on different applications (rather that copy you in applications).

    The problem is in the settings of the P4_PICTURE element in the form on page 4. The Type of storage has been upgraded with WWV_FLOW_FILES of the Table, so the uploaded images were going to the repository of integrated files, not the BLOB on your CATEGORY table column. So the fundamental problem is that there are no images in your table to be included in the report.

    I changed the element P4_PICTURE Type of storage to a BLOB column specified in the attribute of the Source element, has added the additional column information and the IMAGESource and changed column PHOTO report 3 Format page mask download image, and the picture I have uploaded via the updated form the appears.
