    I would also like to bring to your notice that I have a bis plan on my device, active, but after upgrading my app world or native applications do not work on bis but wifi. Strange! Now the question is why would the upgrade of a simple bone cause me so many problems. I upgraded my phone several times since I bought it. This is driving me crazy and crazy, this phone has an excellent reputation and does not mean I am a bit disappointed by his performance or his now making me hurt.

The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.  This is after I had received another pop up window... This Setup will perform an upgrade of ".". Do you want to continue? When the InstallShield Wizard has started, that the other pop-up window appeared.

    I am very new to the Blackberry.  These messages would be the result of once after having installed the software it is possible to install only one time on the computer?

  • Setup of blackBerry Smartphone Wi - Fi on a Blackberry "BOLD"

    I'm about to buy the blackberry "BOLD"... I'm very happy with this purchase... but I have a very technical question which no one at all the att stores can answer for me.  I work in an environment where we have to access points Wi - Fi and I can type in the WEP key when I put it in place... However, my company uses the key Index #2 so, basically, it uses the second of the four WEP keys that are created.  Is it possible to choose what key Index I would use or should I just wait for the 3G network is available.  Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Of course it is... ugly att reps.

    1.) select 'Manage connections' icon on the homescreen App.

    2.) select 'WiFi Options.

    3.) select a 'saved Wi - Fi profiles' using the trackball.

    4.) hit key app and select 'change '.

    5.) under "Profile Wi - Fi" scroll "key Select WEP.

    6.) hit key app, select "Change Option".

    7.) select 1 of the 4 main indicators then take it out and press 'Save' in the app menu.

    After that, you should be good to go.

    I freaked out for a few days, when no one answered and then, last night, I re-surfed and followed the instructions on http://www.blackberryforums.com.au/forums/blackberry-desktop-manager/71-perform-clean-uninstall-blac...

    I'll give a blow by blow, because it might be useful to others.

    There are 2 moments of doubt:

    1. on the uninstall, me for the installation at the location 1 disc, but, as the article says, don't stress to joy, because he kept asking, so I continued.

    2. then, after you remove the first 2 keys, then the 3rd key numbered registry, I could see MORE of my previou installations (as they were asexual reproduction) on my "Add/Remove Programs" list so I had everything crossed when he came for the restart.

    So you can call your provider and explain the situation, maybe they have exceptions, and they ask rim to release the pin number, be nice in the call.

    Feature: BB Torch 9800.

    I had problems with my gmail set up.  I could not send / receive.  Message "blocked service."

    I did a Wipe of security under option.  Now, my Mail app icon is gone.

    If I go into setup - mail accounts, I see the Internet mail option.  It asks me to enter the account of the company, I do not agree.

    2. is it possible to do a hard reset of the device to factory default as a new phone?

    3. wonder if I can use this BB torch for email via Wifi only (not the cell provider data service) as an iPod Touch?

    Hello need help. My Blackberry Curve 8520 (OS 5.0.0.1036) does not connect to the server. It shows my network (Vodafone) and gets a strong signal; makes and receives calls; connect wifi; but it is also completely static.     I can help you with the it policy... lack of procedure for access to the BES server, this (and only this) cleanse a BB to an it policy:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

    If you do a backup/restore, don't do this basically... rather, backup/restore only the databases specific you need (for example, calendar, contacts, messages, etc.) and more precisely to avoid data bases having something to with COMPUTER policy, business, etc.. If you restore those, the it policy will be conscientiously restored to the device, and you will be right where you are now.

    As for a BES Server trying to reach out... There is nothing that I can offer you. Your best bet is to talk to your provider and make sure you have no BES-level service enabled on your account of them. Who should (note 'should'... is there no guarantees) prevent a BES server to reach out and the reactivation of your device.

    Actually no, both give a re-read, especially words such as these:
