  You do not tell us how many airport routers, you might have, but it looks like you have 3 devices... unless you named the guest network the same as your main network.

  Recent versions of the airport are simultaneous dual-band, so they produce a signal Wireless 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with the same network name.  So, it's 2 networks for a router.

  If you have a second airport, set up to extend or expand the network, then it too will be 2 networks with the same wireless network name. So, it's more than 2 networks for the second airport... for a total of 4 so far.

  Pourriez you have a version of a band unique AirPort Extreme or AirPort Express. So it's 1 over the network.  Or, if you have a recent version of the airport, the scan did not pick up the 'other' network at the time.

  Total... 5 networks.  Quite normal.

  Wireless devices choose the router with the signal the harder... at least in theory... then choose 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz according to their abilities and the distance to the airport.

  Of course, a feature which is 2.4 GHz only will connect to the 2.4 GHz network, then... in theory... it will choose the strongest signal 2.4 GHz of the nearest router.

  If a device can connect to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz... It will be connected to 5 GHz, if it's in the same room or in immediate proximity to the router. But as signals of 5 GHz are much lower than 2.4 GHz signals, the same device will connect probably in 2.4 GHz if she moves a piece or two away from the router.

  I have two computers at home and have installed a printer on a wireless.  I tried to install another printer wireless in another part of my house but keeps printing one already installed.  I received a message ' peer networking grouping service isn'g running.   (2) rear right clicking on go properties-> logon.

  then restart all of the services of three.

  Finally cool off homegroup...

  1. I started by selecting 'peer network identity Manager.
  2 and clicked on the tab log.
  3. then select the bubble for "this account" not "sys local VAC.
  4. then click on the Browse button.
  5. then advanced down to the left.
  6. then find now on half right.
  7. Select "LOCAL SERVICE".
  8 then Ok outside.
  I was asked to restart the service before amendments would change, but I jumped until after I changed the other two services.
  Repeat steps one although 8 to peer name resolution and peer network group in that order. (I don't know why it makes a difference, but it worked for me)
  9 restart the peer network identity Manager
  10 start of peer name resolution
  11 start grouping of network of peers

• Vista showing several networks with my SSID

  I've just set up my WRTU54G-TM for wireless access. By linksys recommendations, I've changed the SSID, disabled the SSID broadcast and enabled MAC filtering. I joined the MAC address of my lapop Vista Home Premium. I am able to connect very well, but there seems to be several instances of my network. First of all there is "unnamed network", which I assume is mine I put not broadcasting my SSID. However, when I connect to my network "no name" 3 other networks appear showing my SSID ex. Bob Bob, Bob 2, 2 3. Is this normal? Are all of the different networks protected by the same?

  Do not turn off the broadcast of the SSID that you have enabled filtering MAC, no wireless computer couldn't connect unless you enter the MAC address of the computer on MAC filtering wireless... I guess that you won't get many instances of your SSID after you enable the SSID broadcast... Also, I would recommnd allows you to change the SSID... Check if it works for you...

  If you have a local user in ACS, this user cannot be a member of both groups at the same time.

  The same concept applies to external users. They cannot be mapped to two different groups at the same time.

  If you delete the configuration of Grp-A-B, the test1 user will be mapped to the first group in the list because ACS 4.2 process mapping group in the order:

  We use ESX to host several DR environments for small networks. These networks must be completely separated from eachother, but must use the same firewall. I think the configuration of ESX Server (which has 4 network cards) as such.

  Nic1: console

  Nic2: VMotion

  Nic3 and Nic4: associated with each network in its own portgroup with its own VLAN ID.

  Nic3 and Nic4 will then connect to a switch that will be configured with the same VLAN.

  I think that this OK but if there is a better way to do it please tell me. It's the firewall, it is possible to configure a firewall for access to some VLAN different through a single interface or do I connect an interface in each VLAN.

  You need at least an uplink (physical NIC) to connect a vSwitch to the outside world.  As a good practice, you uplink in redundant mode, and have 2 by vSwitch, then you will be fine.  Rather than assign all 4 for a vSwitch.  Set to vSwitch0 2 and the other two to vSwitch1.

  You can't have multiple root within a group of cache tables. The requirements for tables in the group a cache are very strict; There must be only one top-level (root table) table and there may possibly be several children tables. Tables of the child should be linked through foreign keys to the root table or a child table above in the hierarchy.

  The solution for your case is among the tables of root and the other root table in a separate cache group and the child table in a cache group. If you do this, you must take care of a few things:

  1. you cannot define foreign keys between the tables of groups of different cache in TimesTen (keys may exist in Oracle) so the application must enforce referential integrity itself for these cases.
