Several workflow in IOM

Hello

I want several workflows in IOM, as a workflow for the user with the 'Role of finance' workflow 'Role of Maintanance"etc. 2.
Can someone help me how to achieve this IOM 11g
Thanks in advance :-)

Create two rule for the determination of process through say rule Designer role is the role of the Finance
Create two process definitions
Go to RO > add a rule of decision making process and the corresponding process definition

  • How to link several workflows vCO to a state change worklfow vcac?

    I would like to be able to bind more than 1 process of vCO on measure for the change of State of ExternalWFStubs.BuildingMachine but vCAC allow me to do what (name of change workflow state is already in use, therefore preventing me to add another value to this custom property to the level of the action plan).

    Is this possible? I have 2 separate changes of workflows customized that perform different actions to be run during the State of the building; 1 create a new DNS entry while the other creates a new computer object in AD. For the record, I also have another vCO custom workflow that runs during the change of State of ExternalWFStubs.MachineProvisioned, so is not an option.

    Do I need to combine all Actions in a custom workflow vCO and then associate this workflow with the change of State of construction Machine (Stub) WF...?

    Thank you. Ron

    Update

    I answered my own question part. Combining all the workflows in 1 custom vCO will do. I would still know, however, if there is an easier way to achieve this goal by combining (maybe) vCO several Workflows to the same ExternalWF Stub... ??

    Thank you. Ron

    For what it's worth, I have just a "workflow" 'root' for each stub (buildingmachine, alienate, machineprovisioned, etc.) which will open then any number of subsequent workflow. I find this easier method follow the workflow is executed. You also have the advantage of executing asynchronously things if they are released in the same root workflow.

    Finally, you can control the order in which workflows run and can be creative in when they run. Consider the example:

    The code in the ' do this? "decision could be:

    return (updatedProperties.keys.indexOf("RunWorkflow1") > -1);

    and "Run the workflow code 2?" is:

    return (updatedProperties.keys.indexOf("RunWorkflow2") > -1);

    Now, if I add the custom property "RunWorkflow1" to a plan of action / draw up profiles / property custom, it will run ' Run Workflow 1 ", then jump on the other and complete. Similarly, if you want to run the workflow 2, simply add another custom property RunWorkflow2 in the action plan.

    If you are designing in this way, it allows you manage 1 workflow root while still customizing plans to do different actions.

    Hope this helps,

    James

  • Several workflow mask - am I doing this right?

    Hey guys,.

    I currently have a piece of film that I want to be "revealed" by the use of several ink spot. Mask MOV using inverse Luma Mattes.

    The only way I knew how to do is duplicate show the film again and again with another part being hidden so that it is progressive. I can't imagine that this is the best way to do it though.

    What do you guys suggest?

    Build yourself a demo that contains multiple copies of your movies of Inkblot. Set up transitions so that you get a spot of ink animated to your liking. Use the demo as a matte for your videos. EZ as pie...

    These employees to BC this reading, how access us as users the forums and tutorials OLD?

    I found (thanks to Google) links to areas likely to have the answer to my question, but I can't access it again, nor type me a question in this new forum space gets to the right area. It defaults to the main page of the forum or the main page of the tutorial. It's frustrating because I have to wait a response instead of conclusion, he has already answered and to implement without worrying about someone.

    Can you all just make them accessible again? Please?

    Hi Chuck,

    The old forums is no longer available I'm afraid.

    However, articles can still and I think you're after this set - up.

  • The call of several workflow.

    Hi all

    We have a list to multiple selection on each element selected a trigger shud of specific workflow on Checkin.

    Can someone please suggest how to go abt it.

    Thanks in advance.

    If you have a Multi Select (xMyMultiSelect) field with values: A, B, C

    There are workflows for each: A and B and C

    If I check in a document with "A, B" do you want the workflow to A and B to be chained?

    To do this,
    (1) enter the docs in a workflow main "traffic cop" with a generic entry step (example all docs with any value not zero in xMyMultiSelect - use the generic operator for this criterion)
    (2) in the event of entry of step 1 analyze the value of xMyMultiSelect and put the string into a string of file Companion.<$wfSet("thisWorkflowSet", xmymultiselect)$="">
    (3) create a break in the first step of the first selected workflow AND ensure you have a step back to your main workflow.
    (4) whenever you return to your main workflow, read the following value in your companion file and jump into this workflow until you are finished.

    You are fundamentally transform each workflow for your selection list multi into a secondary workflow and chaining them. This is very similar to the works of dynamic routing how. The only difference is that instead of the users choose the next step every step along the way, the author recovers the sequence of steps via your checkin time multi selection list.

    I hope this helps.
    Warmly,.

  • Need clarification on workflow approval-IOM

    Hello
    I have created an approval process for RO, which would have sent the permission to the user's Manager. If I ask for this Number as an end-user (by logging into the administration as the end user Console) approval flow works very well. Manager approves the request and RO is put in service to the user.

    But, when I ask the resource connection as xelsysadm for a UserA (whose Manager is user B and not xelsysadm), RO gets put in service to the user without any request sent to user B (who is responsible) for approval.

    Can someone let me know if this is the default behavior (I hope that's not!) or I'm missing something?

    Thanks in advance

    Published by: Alan on July 15, 2010 02:18

    Hi Alan,

    It is the default behavior of the IOM as xelsysadm is assumed as root of the provisioning system.
    Not sure if this could be overridden somehow.

    Kind regards

    From the url looks like as you are from the page (login.jspx) instead of the activity of the view (login).
    Please make sure you have selected the adfc-config gall. XML as the performance target and you connect as task flowand the checkbox 'Attempt to run selected current file before DEFAULT' is undefined.
    then close all open editors and ensure that the viewController project is selected (at least you must not select the adfc-config gall. XML). then run/debug the application.

  • Workflow to create the prefix of Group/business machine

    I'm working with vRA 6.2.1 and vRO 6.0.1 (as external device) creating a unique workflow that I can use to replicate my test environment in which concerns the creation of tenant and configuration. So far, I have a global workflow consisting of several workflow of the vRA plugin that will create the tenant, adding banks of identities and administrators and then create the Group prefixes and fabric machine, this set works very well but I am stuck at the next step which is to create my group of companies. I want the workflow the prefix machine created in the previous step as an input in the phase of establishment of business groups, the idea is there is no administrator aside from entry to start the global workflow, but out of the box two workflows have different formats for the id attribute of machineprefix (vCACEntity and vCACCAFE (: MachinePrefix), and I can't find a way to convert that properly passes the value of the id for the Group of companies to create workflow.

    The search of the web and this forum has provided two different threads around using a task scriptable between the prefix machine create and create workflows group, I have tried both and doesn't seem to work for me. The first I tried was a simple one line saying createdMachinePrefix (vCAC:Entity) = convertedmachinePrefix(vCACCAFE:MachinePrefix) and the other was a script based on the vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder (https://communities.vmware.com/message/2453675), but these two cause the error TypeError don't call method getId null (the dynamic Script Module name: createBusinessGroup #3).

    The problem is obviously that the id of machineprefix is not correctly converted/passed to the workflow to create business group, because if I put that to use an entry for the prefix id and type manually in when I run the global workflow, it works very well, so the script task isn't generating errors, but is not giving me the result I need to be. Also when I look at the variables tab that runs the overall workflow, I can see the MachinePrefix variable in the format of vCAC:Entity as a guid, but shows vCACCAFE:MAchinePrefix that is not I think brings up that I found her correct the cause of the problem.

    Can someone help me find the solution, I'm sure it's just me missing something obvious, but I am new to Orchestrator and learning as I go along.

    What I do is after the element to create a MachinePrefix, add a script with the following task:

    IN:

    machinePrefixName: string (you should be able to provide it since you'd need to create the MachinePrefix)

    DEPARTURES:

    machinePrefix: vCACCAFE:MachinePrefix

    Scripts:

    var vCACMachinePrefixes = Server.findAllForType ("vCACCAFE:MachinePrefix");

    for each {(var vCACMachinePrefix in vCACMachinePrefixes)

    If (machinePrefixName == vCACMachinePrefix.name) {}

    machinePrefix = vCACMachinePrefix

    break;

    }

    }

    You can use the machinePrefix to vCACCAFE:MachinePrefix to create a course of Business Group.Of this all assumes that you are able to make the names of unique MachinePrefix. Otherwise, it seems that MachinePrefix has an id property, you can use instead of the name when searching for the right one...

  • VCO - from a workflow to run any other workflow in the order

    Hi all

    I'm new to Orchestrator and am not a party to the scripts.

    I have implemented several workflows to do things like join FC storage, create a folder, create a new portgroup and would like to run all these workflow in a central workflow.

    I know that there is a model predefined for this, but I can't get this to work and it only allows me to choose a workflow as opposed to a group of them

    Any insight/assistance would be great

    Thank you

    This process is commonly referred to as packaging or boxing. You can find a tutorial about this here: Making vCO Workflow Wrappers

    OK Kelly,

    We found a legal way to get around, but the manual process is difficult to monitor the action of the user points and redirect specifications.  I'll go to the ER submitted.  I am absolutely amazed that no one else has requested this feature.  It makes no sense to us that a completed application in 1997 would not have a method to reassign work when others are away already in the design.  I've marked this as answered.

  • Create custom workflows in virtual machine

    Hello

    I use a native workflow 'Create custom virtual machine', but it does not deploy a machine of the ntemplate.

    He built a raw with personalised VM. Some other workflow to deploy the VM from the model but without customization.

    Is it possible to include an option to model the workflow "Create custom virtual machine"?

    Thanks in advance

    Use several workflow and actions as building blocks to build one that meets your needs... For example, suppose you want to deploy a Windows VM with customization...

    Create a new workflow called "deploy Windows VMS"

    Inside of this workflow, add the following workflow:

    Clone, windows with a single NETWORK card and credential<-- this="" will="" clone="" a="" vm="" windows="" vm="" from="" template,="" perform="" sysprep="" (change="" unique="" id,="" guest="" os="" name,="" set="" administrator="" password,="" join="" domain="" if="" specified,="" and="" set="" ip="" address="" as="">

    Take the exit (a new virtual machine) this workflow and send it to each flow of work following:

    • Change of RAM (Workflow)
    • Add the disk (Workflows)
    • changeVMvCPU (Action)

    should look a bit like this:

    Once you have linked all together correctly and all attachments, you'll probably want to adjust the presentation so that the CPU/Mem are in the correct section, as well as additional info on the disk... Here's a quick example:

    This process could be replicated, but using a Linux workflow specific to meet the same needs deployment clone custom Linux virtual machines.

    Also, is it possible to see a similar to 2 k recording update? 12 bit 4:4:4 XAVC in 2 k would be extremely useful.

    All,

    XAVC Class300 is the current implementation of the XAVC 10 bit 422 in the F5, F55 cameras. We are able to implement the Class480 upwards to 30 p because it is still within the bandwidth, threshold of the existing SxS card shape for sustained flow write speeds.

    As a benchmark, the Class300 is 300Mbps to 30 p. And the class 480 480 Mbit/s to 30 p. It is simply mount the data rate, and with a little better PSNR - Peak Signal to Noise Ratio - the two classes are in the implementation of the XAVC 10 bit 422

    As you may know, XAVC is the implementation of Sony of H.264, to very high quality @Level 5.2. The architecture of coding is process each image based on the characteristics of unique photo. In other words, the camera is independently encoding each image based on information from complex frame-by-frame. It's very different from codecs of competitor in the competitor cameras in which they define the different coding to the first frame only and do not change during the writing of this file.

    If you really want to see a difference in image quality between the existing Class300 and the Class480 what you photograph, much will depend on the level of complexity in each frame.

    Several workflow of third party suppliers are already supported including Resolve and Adobe Class480. If you look in their XAVC settings you will see listed.

    Concerning

    Peter
