SGD 11 failing g in 'Phase of Configuration of the WHO'
HelloI want to install 11g on OEL5.4, running WHO in the following question:
---
"Setup Failed"WHO Configuration"Wizard
Setup Wizard running "WHO Setup."
Execution of command OMSCA...
Check the logs of the Configuration Wizard of SGD to/oracle/Middleware/oms11g/cfgtoollogs/omsca

The log looks good so far (I can post the whole log if necessary):
Odd that the newspaper refers to itself:
"Check the trace file:/oracle/Middleware/oms11g/cfgtoollogs/omsca/omsca_20100430140137.log.

What version of Weblogic do you use? I had problems similar to this with 10.3.3,, but when I did go back to 10.3.2 he knew very well.

Used FMV is the 32 bit one bundled with WebLogic server 10.3.2 for Solaris 32 bit, because there is no 64-bit version available. Can someone advise please know how to bypass this?, do I need to download and install a 64-bit JVM after web logical installation?, does this need to be a 64-bit JRockit JVM?You need a jdk from sun 64 bit 1.8. Configuration of the WHO with cert of third party for SLB
Hello!
We replace our third-party certificates for OEM and we bought the cert Entrust to our security group.
Even read literature that oracle has provided can be a little difficult.
We were told in the RS to create a new portfolio, which we did with the new certificates, but the documentation says to import the cert of the PES in the trust store of SGD and the Agent (1481192.1) that the cert must be in base64 format in a text file.
1. How is - this (export the cert SLB in base 64 format)?
2. the cert should be in the wallet in order to provide WHO with the base64 text file or is just necessary on the server where is SGD?
3 - is a necessary portfolio or can we just use a keystore of Java to ensure the cert?
4. What is the best documentation for this process? I see a TON of documentation that seems to go around itself and can be a bit confusing.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Let me understand what you want to do first because it seems to me that you are now quite confused after reading the oracle documentation.
You just want to replace the SLB certificate used by the WHO, because you have a load balancer for which you have received a new certificate?
So all you have to do is to import this certificate into the SGD?
1. your PES cert so probably already in base-64 format. It is a text file and starts with a - CERTIFICATE - START? If this isn't the case, you can use openssl to convert.
2. the format base64 certificate just need to be on the server starting from which you run the command emcli to and accessible by the user who executes the command
3. emcli command will import the cert in the portfolio appropriate/keystore
4. don't know, too much confusion autour docs

GC installation fails on the WHO with NodeManager Configuration step
I try to install OEM Grid Control and I'm having some trouble to make it past step in the installation of the Configuration of the WHO. I'm not very familiar with Oracle products. I finished all the configuration steps listed in the documentation, and in order to solve a problem earlier, I deleted the Keynectis and Telesec certificates since the cacerts file java keystore. NodeManager is run as a service, even if I think that the Setup process starts a new instance because it cannot connect to the service. I was also unable to connect to the service through the nmConnect WLST function, if it is possible my settings are incorrect. If the only problem is that GCDomain is not saved in the file nodemanager.domains, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, because I put it in the nodemanager.domains file located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager:
---
#Domains and directories created by the Configuration Wizard
#Fri 22 April 15:23:16 EDT 2011
wl_server=C\:\\Oracle\\Middleware\\wlserver_10.3\\samples\\domains\\wl_server
MEDREC-Spring=C\:\\Oracle\\Middleware\\wlserver_10.3\\samples\\domains\\medrec-Spring
GCDomain = C\:\\Oracle\\gc_inst\\user_projects\\domains\\GCDomain
MEDREC=C\:\\Oracle\\Middleware\\wlserver_10.3\\samples\\domains\\medrec
---
Note: the file paths are correct and using escaped slashes, as appropriate, but this message board system turns the last double backslash in a line break. I can't find any html solution that works, so just take my word for it
I restarted NodeManager after making the change as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Details:
Machine - Windows Server 2008 x 64
DB - 11 GR 2
WLS - 10.3.2
GC - 11.1.0.1

Your correct. Even with regard to the OEMGC 10 g Oracle still doesn't have a Windows 64 bit for OEMGC 11 g version.
It sometimes means that are all companies except 1, the GC server 64-bit Windows servers.Eric

Hi Sandra,.
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
I understand that you can not install some updates with the error message "failure of configuration of the Windows updates...". ». I can imagine the disadvantages suffered by you and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem.
First place, according to the error message, I suggest you to try the steps in the following article and check if it helps.
Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
The question may arise if the Windows downloaded update packages are corrupt. So, if you are able to boot to the desktop with the help of the above article, I also suggest you try the following steps and check if the problem persists.

Method 2:
I suggest you to use Deployment Image Servicing and Management to fix Windows Update errors.
(a) open an elevated command prompt. To do this, press the Windows key + Q and type in CMD right click on command prompt in the list and select run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

Original title: problems with updates
I tried to install windows updates since the store won't let me update to 8.1 otherwise, but I've been miserably lacking 4 days in a row now. Commissioning Windows Update in Control Panel or the charm of parameters found 133 available updates and informs me that they will install automatically. If I then try to install progress remains at "downloading 0 KB", after a while updates are shown as installation. When the installation is completed I'm prompted to restart my pc. After the reboot if I'm greeted by the "Failure configuring Windows updates" screen for about an hour, then I'm able to reconnect to the desktop computer. I've been searching the forums for similar problems looking for an answer and trying different solutions, such as:
Stop the update service then renaming or deleting the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution. No positive results on this one.
Using SFC and DISM, first came up with my system is clean, the second did find and fix corrupt elements of store, but the problem persists.
Download the tool for troubleshooting Windows Update from Microsoft page, who reported finding and repairing problens with service, but again without success.
Reduce the installed updates at a time, in the instance that Windows can't handle most of the many updates at the same time. I tried this and it seemed to go well, but a strange point of interest that is so annoying is that several edits I checked are installing somehow, even if it is the only example that shows the number of updates being installed before restarting. Yet I always comes to the same conclusion. Failure of Windows updates the screen. What should I do?
Hello
Please update us with the State of the question. We apologize for the delay in responding
- You have a disk to install for Windows 8?
- Can you please explain what did you mean by update failed?
- Have you an error message when the update failed?
I propose to perform the refresh once more using the Installation of Windows 8 disc, but before to perform updating please follow the procedure below
Step 1: Repair of drive
One of the best ways that you can check the alteration in the hard is to run a check disk on this subject. Please follow the steps below to repair the disk using the disk check.
- Open This PC by hitting on any fly in the Dashboard screen, quilting Search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the mouse down and then clicking search), recording this PC in the search box, and then tapping or clicking on This PC.
- Press on and hold or click the drive that you want to repairand then tap or click Properties.
- Tap or click the Tools tab, and then, under error-checking, tap or click check. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.
- Follow the instructions. You may have to restart your PC after that error checking is complete.
Important: when running chkdsk on the drive hard if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data may be lost.
Step 2: command tool (DISM) deployment image Service and management.
By running this command, we can retrieve or modify information in an image. To run the DISM command, please follow the steps below:
- Go to the Windows Start menu.
- Type cmd on the keyboard.
- Right-click on the program from the command prompt and choose Run as administrator.
- The command prompt dialog box.
- Type the command Dism.exe / online/cleanup-image/Restore health and press ENTER.
- Wait for the command to run which can take about 30 minutes.
- After running the command, please try to make the backup of the system.
The above information was hoping to get useful, please return it to us if you need additional assistance.

Fails to PI 2.0 Configuration Archive Cisco Nexus 5000
Hello
We have recently improved Cisco IP from 1.3 to 2.0 and I thought that this problem would be resolved, but he did not. I added two switches 5548 Nexus I can monitor and configure via Cisco first but I am not able to read the boot och running configuration to the Configuration Archive. When I start work, I get the following error:
"device fig: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out".
Current NXOS: 5.2 (1) N1(2a)
Before troubleshooting I would just answer if it should be possible to archive the Nexus to Cisco configs first Infrastructure?
See you soon! Mattias Andersson
Yes, I do it with success on a couple of first 2.0 facilities. My case later included NX - OS - 5548UP and 5596UP 5.2 (1) N1 (4) running and 6.0 (2) N2(1b).

I had to edit this post, because I was the lack of information on my problem...
Well that's even once...
I decided to give maintenance to my laptop then I formatted last night then in the morning, I started today with the updates of windows (was the first thing I did, so I haven't installed programs). It started to download as 110 updates, when you're done, asked me to restart, and I did. As at other times, it configures the first 30% before restarting, and when it restarts then got stuck in the message of "Configuration of the Windows updates... failure. It takes like 20-30 minutes to restart, and when he does, still happens once, I mean the restart and the same message. So I can not connect or anything.
Some features:
Laptop: Toshiba Qosmio x 875
Processor: Intel core i7-3630QM CPU 2 .40GHz
RAM: 12 GB
System: Windows 8 64-bit
GPU: Nvidia GTX 670M / 3GB
2 500 GB HARD drive, don't know the model or brand
I have not yet installed antivirus, in fact I uninstalled Norton to install Kaspersky later, but I'm stuck with the real problem.
I bought this laptop as 14 months ago, is the first time the problem appears.I have not tried certain steps of the links because some of them need to connect.
Thank you, hope someone can help me.

Several Airport Apple ID devices disappear shared devices and Software Configuration of the airport
We have three Airport extreme and two Airport Express devices in two offices in the city. Some time in the last two days, they all stopped appearing in the sidebar of Finder 'Shared' category (if they had attached disk storage) and they stopped from appearing in the Configuration software of the airport on any of the Mac on these networks. (They always seem to be correct, routing traffic, however).
For a while, we left a desktop completely alone as a control group and did all our testing and troubleshooting in the other office.
We-hard reset (to the factory configuration) all devices from the airport to an office. They began to appear again. Then we started to re - configure them again. At the time wherever we had updated the devices they had disappeared again.
So, another factory discount based configutations for each device to this facility. Then we added slowly in pieces of their configuration. When airports have received Apple ID and associated passwords for associating with iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour (depending on what you want to call it), the airport devices disappeared from the airport Setup.
If we tried to configure another device from the airport to extend a network of 'invisible' airports, the new airports were "unable to find" one of these networks to expand.
If we reset all devices without providing them with Apple ID and passwords, they worked mainly as you would expect. The main difference being now do not appear as having been recorded as BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour devices.
One side for people dealing with this note: If your router are invisible, but they are configured to be configured from the EXTENSIVE worldwide network, you can use "File-> configure the other" and specify the address WAN of the missing aircraft and get this screen access as one would generally. From here, remove all the Apple ID associated with these devices, press "Refresh" to save the settings and they seem to reappear magically in the Configuration of the airport software.
In that State, storage seems to be available, but only for devices in Domain Local (direct connection). Airports without AppleIDs will not appear in the field to iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour, and it's as expected, given that these IDS is the means for the identification of their field.
If someone else has noted these behaviors and if so, have an idea about specifically when they first appeared? Is there by any chance someone who knows of any change in registration or the MWAC of multiplication?
Did you approach the problem exactly as I did in the past, and having encountered problems of the CCMM literally every version of OS X. They were all distinct problems with individual characteristics, and in some cases the solutions exist. Having said that the CCMM has been completely reliable recently - which means running the most recent El Capitan release on all my Macs. The initial versions (i.e. OS X 10.11 to 10.11.3 maybe) didn't work at all. I don't know which version fixed whatever the problem was, I am sure he has not worked for someone else.
The same real place with Yosemite and previous versions as well. CCMM did not reliable until the exit "point three or four."
Through these experiments, I believe it should be a pretty fast connection. If the connection between a Mac and all the others does not meet this requirement (whatever that is) all you will be able to determine, it's that the CCMM fails.
Apple is characteristically silent about the technical aspects of the CCMM, probably because of security concerns. Nobody outside Apple knows how it works. If you're still having problems, I encourage you to contact them. After mentioning predictable you corrective raw materials (the two following links) you will be put in touch with someone who will look to what is false, providing diagnostic assistance and send your information to engineering. If it's something they should fix, you'll know not to the point of an OS X update is published.
Set up and use Back to My Mac - Apple Support
Get help using Back to My Mac - Apple Support
With all the conversations I had with Apple on this topic (which were many, involving a large amount of tests) not once they disclose any causal factors individual, other than to reiterate the need to run the last OS X, versions and the latest versions of firmware for their routers. In your case, that means probably that your Mac update to El Capitan. It is after all the very first recommendation in their document of support above, until you do this you will still not get in step 1.

Name of the product - HP Laserjet 1200 Series PCL 6 Driver
Operating system: Windows 8 Home Edition, 64-bit
Error message: cannot find the series 1200 on the network. To locate manually click ok...
Changes Made - this is an installation on the new laptop, in Windows 8, 64-bit
Description:
1 installation of an existing network, consistedof a desk and two wireless laptops.
2. the two portable computers have Windows 7, 64 bit. Above the named printer is accessed successfully for laptops.
3 replaces one of cell phones with 8 64-bit Windows.
4. the path of the 1200 series is: wireless printer to the router, router to the desktop via ethernet, from desktop to a printer via a cable.
5. the configuration of the wireless printer is
Name: HP Laserjet 1200 Series PCL 5
Port: \\Central\HPLaserj
Printer: HP Laserjet 1200 Series PCL 5
Driver: HPMCPM25. GPD 5.8.2008
Problem
Impossible to re-create this path with Windows 8, 64-bit configuration.
a. when I try to download a driver always end up with a file called UPD-pcl6 - x 64 - 5.6.0.14430
This seems to be a universal PCL 6 printer driver, can successfully decompress the file and create a folder
b. during installation, I can see the desktop ICON printer (name: \\central\HPLaserj); So far so good
c. process is unable to locate a driver and ordered to locate manually.
d. accessing the HP Universal Driver files fails because a driver is not found.
e. caraa attempt enter fails because you can't enter address above (\\central\HPlaserj). Cannot enter HPLaserj for the address, which obviously does not work.
f. when the installation showed a list of drivers, the only one that I found was a universal PCL 6, which is what I thought, I tried to download the original.
This set up has worked successfully to Windows 7 64 bit. It seems that I need help much more expertise to guide me through this whole upward.
Problem solved.
This link gives a good overview of the solution
