• Parts of my site Wordpress stopped working in FF but are ok in Internet Explorer. Why?

• Time Warner 300 + slow airport6 2.5 ghz

  TWC move to 300 Mbps. 6th generation airport and spend my motorola modem to modem of TWC.  No AE in use.   The speeds are fine with 5 GHz, but the distance is limited.  Using 2.5 ghz in the only area of the House is slower than before the upgrade. Is there a way to fix this so the area that happens to 2.5 ghz is at least as fast as it was before the upgrade?  Sharon

  It is difficult to know the problem without knowing the full configuration.

  What modem router TWC has provided for you?

  Is the extreme connected by ethernet and you factory reset it after the change... Is it important?

  Extreme is bridged or Setup as a router?

  If the TWC router is wireless you need manual set channels. So go the TWC and set the channel Wireless 2.4 ghz to 1 and on the channel to 11 extreme game.

  Tell us how you test the speed... because not all settings will work the same.

  TWC has changed to IPv6 in many areas, and you must follow these guidelines... (For comcast, but they work for both).

  This should be relevant when you use a pure cable modem not a router modem.

  I tried all your suggestions. It turns out that I had to reinstall my Java. I didn't know Java would do, and I thought it worked. but suggestions said that thinking. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it works. Thanks for your help!

  I have a windows 64-bit computer that is running Windows 7. In recent months, Firefox has been crashing on opening - opening occasionally on the profile of my husband, but not mine. I now use IE9 running as administrator but would prefer to use Firefox.
  I can't adjust the settings, plugins etc that I can't open the program at all. After the first attempt, I go to the Task Manager and stop firefox.exe. Then when my next attempt to open I get the error again. I sent off the coast many reports of incidents at Mozilla.

  Hello
  I found my profile.ini for Firefox file by using the information in your message *http://kb.mozillazine.org/profiles.ini_file. There were 2 profiles in the ini file, so I deleted one and kept the other one who had the same name as the folder profile and saved the ini file. Bingo-test - Firefox works! I think the graphics card driver update helped also that IE works properly now as well.

• Can't stay in the browser without clicking on the mouse

  Sounds crazy. I'll start typing (as in this message box!) when my cursor disappears. I have to click my mouse to put the cursor in the browser (or else I care to) in order to continue.  So annoying, especially when you type a password and it is only showing asterisks, and you will have to start all over again! It happened just after the last update.  Not sure if this is the last update or if I need a new mouse.  I have the Apple wireless mouse.  I am running OS X El Capitan, Version 10.11.4, iMac late 2009, with keyboard and wireless mouse.  The situation gets really annoying.  I would like to delete e-mails from 5-10 at a time by holding down the control button.  I'll have to delete one at a time now because I have selected 10, the cursor disappears, I need to reselect all over again.  I'm ready to Chuck all that and just use my MacBook Pro, but I really like my big iMac monitor!

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! I'm sorry to hear that you are having this problem with your iMac. It is certainly unusual. To narrow down the possible causes of this problem / clicking on the slider downwards, you can try to boot mode safe (a start more limited mode which load only essential services). You can also try to test in a new test user account and see if the problem persists there as well.   My HP pavilion dv8000t Intel 3945abg pci-e wireless card died a week ago and I want to upgrade to Intel5300agn because it supports Wireless-N much faster than G.

  However, I got a 104 error messeage: unsupported material and never boot into windows.

  I checked the internet and understood this limited HP than dv8000t support Intel3945 abg only bios.

  I don't know the reason behind this, however, whatever the reason, it is totally unacceptable.

  You cannot update/change the brand of the wifi card, it's the most ridiculous thing that I have experienced in my life of the computer.

  I'm a fan of HP and I always recommend my fds HP and they trust in me and buy HP laptops that I am the head of the spirit of my circle.

  Unfortunately, after this time, I can't buy any laptop of HP unless HP change their policy which is to give the user benefits from upgrading their equipment.

  HP must indicate the parts that customers of can/Can ' t make clear in their brochure. I wouldn't buy this dv8000t if I know that I can not update/change my wireless card.

  One more thing, it is that the total customer care serivces is crap.

  Sharon of the team don't even know not dv8000t is intel based from the model number. I must give a conference to tell him how HP named their laptops.

  dv8000 (T), T for intel cpu dv8000 (Z), Z is AMD processor-based. I really doubt on the quality of the knowledge of their own products customer service team.

  You can also use usb adaptors as well for the wireless, it doesn't have to be an internal card. But you can be upset by a manufacturer to support only the card with which he delivered. These aren't desktop computers.

  Please could you put more details in your notebook, for example what RAM you have installed, and also if the XP Pro is the version OEM Toshiba or authentic Microsoft.

  Also, it is useful to check your task manager for any additional tasks or processes that may be running and which could have a detrimental effect on your system.

• Satellite P70 - Has: USB HDD disconnects after Windows update 8.1

  Installed the windows 8.1 update last night, since my USB expansion which I use for backups of files story guard disassembly and reassembly.

  Have tried to uninstall the 3 USB drivers but they just reinstalled Microsoft even those - I can't see specific Toshiba USB drivers to download.

  The USB 3.0 controller is Intel. But the USB 3.0 Intel driver was available only for Win 7. Since win 8 internal Microsoft USB 3.0 driver is used for all computers/laptops in the world.

  I have your case I would test different USB ports as part of different USB devices to check exactly if all devices and ports are affected.
  Probably there s no USB port number
  Perhaps the problem of compatibility between the new 8.1 Win and external device?

  Hi all.  I'm taking my file sales eBay (in the format of numbers) and remove part of my title of the item.  Let me illustrate...

  Cell example: eBay item sold #1234

  I am trying to remove the #1234 (or sometimes it's #123) of the cell with the full title, and move it to a new cell.

  Is this possible?  And if so, is it possible to explain it in the manner of "Numbers for Dummies" (no techno)?  I would be very happy!

  It depends on what follows 123 # or #1234.

  If it's always the same character, you can use FIND to determine where the title should be shared and work from there.

  If there is no such permanent indicator, and the part 'number' of the title varies in length, then you will need detect where each number and each title begins.

  A sample of the data would be useful to determine a solution. Please indicate the smallest and the largest number of point you have to deal with, as well as a few examples with numbers in the meantime. Also include you want each example to divide into two parts.
