• CC of Photoshop smart sharpen problem distortion of line

  Since I use the new CC in Photoshop, I have had no problem until this happened the other day. The image is pefectly cutting, added a shadow, flattened, change to CMYK for print mode.

  I then did a smart sharpness of the amount: 100%, RADIUS: 1.0px, noise reduction: 10

  and these very weak lines appeared in the image (see below)

  PLEASE NOTE that I pulled a levels very hard to amplify the distortion type captured. The lines you see are infact very low but still noticebale in print. Can someone explain why this is happening?

  

  Here are two screenshots, one right after the other with clicked on preview. I also work in 8 bit mode if that makes a difference

  Maybe it's a device driver or a hardware failure. Try disabling your GPU in Performance of Photoshop preferences.  See if she fails when Photoshop does not use your GPU.

• Problems with smart sharpening in Photoshop CC 14.2

  When I opened the smart sharpening filter, the hand symbol appears and Photoshop does nothing more. I must close the program with Ctrl - Alt - Delete. All other filters work correctly. I also removed and installed Photoshop CC again, but the problems remain the same.

  I have tried to change the settings of the catalog / handling / Standard size preview of the file. No luck... But the peak seems to make a littlebit better.

  This is due to the high ISO 6400, long exposure and large amount of sharpening, as I have indicated on the site of Photoshop Lightroom bug reports.

  To prove if this is really the cause see the image in two modules at the sight of 1:1. They now look the same? If so, you have your answer!

  (1) try to lower the detail 25 sharpening slider and the color detail slider to 50.

  (2) look at the image in 1:1 two modules to recreate the cache to develop and the library preview images. In each module wait LR to apply the new settings to the image.

  (3) now, look at the image to display 'Fit' in the two modules.

  (4) it is sometimes necessary to step #2 above twice (i.e. twice) to ensure that the point of view 'Fit' has new LR settings applied.

  How to develop and the library view ' worthy' compare now?

  Stan, I think that currently you use Photoshop CS6 CC CC PS is not yet launched. It will be available next month. So, you will get all the new features like the sharpness, with PS CC only, not with the PS CS6 that too when CC is launched next month.

• DNG with Scenic-sharpening question

  Hello dear community Lightroom and dear Lightroom Experts.

  huge problems with DNG files while using the preset ' sharpening stage.
  I imported some. Shot with a Sinar back DNG files. The capture software I used before you import the files in Lightroom
  a "CaptureFlow Studio 1.4.1" Sinars

  Import these files into Lightroom, everything seems OK first (photo 1).

  
  Using the preset 'scenic sharpen' the preset does what it should (the sharpness of the image).

  Lightning below the histogram in the first screenshot shows that the image was initially imported to Lightroom uses an earlier version of the process (possibly the version 2010, which would mean LR3 or more I think)

  In the second screen shot, the Lightning has disappeared, which means that the image has been updated to the current Version of the process, which is 2012. To update the process version, you click on the Flash and confirm by clicking Update in the dialog box that appears.

  I strongly suspect that this is what you were doing - update the process version can cause small changes in color, which will also change the histogram. Apply a sharpening preset does not cause this change.

• Lightroom export speed problem

  Time of export will increase the local adjustment brush and graduated filter tools. Try it yourself with images that don't have any Local setting. On my system i7-860 with SSD using 21Mp raw files it takes about 5 seconds without inhabitants and up to 15 seconds with the local population by image.

  When you use "Resize to Fit" in the export module, it is important to add "Output sharpening" for the intended use (screen, glossy, matte paper).

  There are several problems with your settings. The detail panel sharpening (NET ') and the noise reduction controls should only be paid in Zoom 1:1 Mode. The amount of sharpness (Gain), detail, brightness and contrast are too high. Adjustment brush sharpening (NET ') setting 100 is compensated by the noise of 100 (noise), so little local sharpening is applied. Also the moire ' and fringe 100 parameters must both be left at 0 (OFF), because they serve no purpose for the sharpening of the premises. Please try the settings below and evaluate the results in development and library modules View Zoom 1:1.   I installed it on a Windows 10 computer and on a MAC El Capitan (OS X 10.11).

  When you enable more "accurate" for sharpness (under the gear wheel), the value 0.1 works too!
  But w / just "use Legacy" checked (by default), there is not admissible.

  I think you're talking about using the crop tool? If you're cropping with a size and resolution that involves interpolation of the image, the crop tool will use your preference for the Interpolation of the Image. By default, bicubic is automatic, which can easily result in a sharp file. Change your preference (in general) to bicubic and you shouldn't see any sharpening.

• Smart sharpening freezes in adobe cc 2014

  Just installed adobe cc 2014 and when opening the screen smart sharpening filter freezes. Can only solve the problem by the cntr-alt-delete. Even after re - install the problem has not disappeared (I deleted adobe also using preferences to withdraw the tickets box).
