  I seem to have some problems using the NVL function on a date. I'm trying to create a query pulls back just a date a file was sent between the sysdate and the date_sent more a minute. Here is the code I use...

  Note:
  date_sent column is in a normal date - same format as sysdate format.
  
  The problem I encounter is when date_sent is null, the stored procedure, I built crashes because date_sent returns a null and a null value cannot be stored in the variable 'iDateSent '. I was thinking about using the NVL function here to resolve, however, I'm not entirely sure who will work with the above query. Any thoughts?

  I do not think: If this variable is declared normally (without any not null not constrained to this topic) so that it can contain a null value. (it's 99% of the time in PL/SQL).

  I think it's that your SQL retrieves no rows, to manage what you should put an exception handler:

  I just got my new X 200 and I did not plant still recovery disks. I guess that thay have to go on CD/DVD players due to the boot record having to read from the first disc.

  For those interested...

  The enthusiastic response of the users who have used flash drives for storing important data, should absolutely NOT use flash for this purpose.  The recommendation was to use CD/DVD only.

  Users tell me that's not for technical reasons that I shouldn't put backups on flash drives. This is because flash drives are notoriously little reliable. Some brands have done well and then badly in the months following incandescent customers.

  Many users now have USB hard drives and they recommend this approach to those of us who want immediate access to the operating system and business or personal data if a catastrophic failure occurs.  I'm opting for this approach with a factory version DVD copy.

  It seems that flash drives are better for personal data which can be reincorporated easily or for the convenience of mobility data.

  Is your goal to a backup or a copy of the database?

  I used flash for both, but the Services of integrated advanced copy the Flashcopy and Tivoli Storage Manager with the Protection of data for instant capture devices. I never wanted to integrate Flash copy with Tivoli, my main goal was a brief overview of the database for backup or duplication. I always once a flash for backup just manually send the Flash files to TSM. If there are a few advanages it to integrate Flash and TSM, I have never done.

  I've never used suspends alter system as part of the copy of flash, because it suspends all I/o operations and for copy makes flash a recovery managed on the other end eliminates this need however if your database is large enough with enough file Flash with the suspension systems may not be all that practice because I had a database that took almost 5 minutes to get the flash has started on all of its volumes and the suspension for that length of time I'd be against. However Metro Mirror (PPRC) I think requires suspends, so, according to the technology behind the presences for advanced copy Services may be required esp if the wish is to leave the boundaries of the San to copy/backup however documentation is really taking only about copy flash.

  I would like to ask the question how long will be my database must be in a sleep state? As I have indicated that if the database has a large number of volumes that need to be flashed this might take a bit so if you have a busy database that could be a factor to consider.

  One thing I wonder is if you need to maintain the drive around because the flash back for quick restoration why not only run a physical standby and run backup from it with PDT it will serve the purpse even unloading the backup to another server, and when you re-instantiate the day before use flash for this not to mention some of the other benefits you get to have physics of the day before.

  Then, look carefully the benefits and disadventages of the use of GBA in your environment based on your needs and your requirements.

  Well, let me start by wishing you the best chance to actually see more & clog if all goes well if that's the goal you have. From the sound of it, you are unsure about using the TV, but it's OK because he can do the job, but you may need to try several different shutter speeds to hit the best setting for lighting & conditions (stability of the boat). I shoot a lot of action and have used a 7 d for this and I am a diver, so I've been on many a boat while plowing through the waves, then, here are my recommendations. Set the AI SERVO AF, set the player to shoot in mode 'spray & prey' (at least 5 images/s) & shoot short bursts when appropriate.

  TEST your settings while on the way to the observation area and check that the camera uses the opening with your Tv setting. If it's between 6 f & f 11 & exhibitions look decent, you're close enough to try it in action. (use the Exposure Compensation needed for MINOR adjustments, but if they need a major change use different settings (shutter speed).) The key to success will be to use an ISO shutter speed AND keeps you in the 6 F to F 11 range, BUT you don't have to use shutter speeds slower while on a moving ship. Water as snow can deceive the meteringso the LCD light control & adjust as necessary but higher shutter speeds are notably better than most with the fact that everything will move lower you.

  CAVEAT. your camera & lens DO NOT like salty water or spray, so be very careful in choosing when it get up to shoot.

  • If you pull the iPhone in a well-lit environment, it records at a constant speed.
  • In lighting challenged environments, you get images image variable rate.

  For this project, you're probably stuck with transcoding with Handbrake or another method not Adobe. Our coders simply do not handle variable frame rates.

  With Premiere Pro and this project, you have no other choice. For future projects, look into purchasing a high end video camera application where you can shoot at a constant rate regardless of the stage lighting.

  I use first Elements 10.  I built a new project on my desktop, because the Office has a firewire port to capture video from my camcorder and my laptop is not a firewire port.  The project is stored on my home network.  I seem to be able to do editing very well using the desktop computer that the project has been created, but it will not directly charge on the cell for editing.  Premiere Elements is configured the same on both computers.  I guess my question is - Premiere Elements stores something on the computer on which the project was created on not stored on the network drive?    How can I fix the problem so that I can edit on my laptop? The laptop is a high-end Dell XPS with an i7 processor that I use for other projects of creation, so the capacity of portable computers is not a problem.

  If I have a very fast NAS and the network, I found that to effectively edit a project, I want my project, and active at least an external FW 800 (same drive letter of the operating system on each computer) and an eSATA would be even better.

  I do all the time and my transportation projects between my laptop by the pool and work stations in the editing room.

  I've set up each project, with all assets (or Copies, as most of my goods are stored on the NAS), in a hierarchy of files for this project. With the drive letter set the same on every machine I migrate seamlessly and with zero problems. Mega-projects, with 1, in thousands of dollars in assets, loading quickly - unlike when working on the network, or of the SIN.

  But with a little planning, you should have zero problem.

  So yes, PHP and JavaScript and by extension of Web documents, can talk to each other.
