Configuration directory

I installed SP1 2010 TS, and I want to change the Configuraion of Directory to another folder.

After restarting TestStand, I see that my setting has no effect, the Config directory is always . So, I can not change.

How to replace it?

Hello

have you tried to edit the registry of Windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\National Instruments\TestStand\ key<4.5.1\CfgLocation>

  • How can you add more options of basic research for the Service Profile Configuration Directory profile

In the CUCM, under Service Profile Configuration.  I created a service profile.  In the profile directory section, I can only have 3 Research Bases.  I have 6 domains I have to link them.  They are in a forest.  How can I extend the search to users?

It is with regard to the Jabber Clients.  I can't find the users in the second research base.

IN the LDAP authentication, it allows only 2 additional redundant LDAP servers.  Why not add each of them?

  • What is the replacement for "configure Reference Levels.vi niScope.

I just put my driver OR-Scope of 3.4 to 3.6 and now the VI, "set up reference Levels.vi niScope" is missing in the instr.lib\niScope\Configure\ directory. I found an old version under niScopeObsolete.llb but this version uses DLL calls where the 3.4 version used nodes of property. What became of this VI and where can I find a covering memo telling me that this feature has been removed?

    Thank you

    Charles

    Hi Charles,

I looked back through the files on the disk and the oldest version I found this VI was about seven (can't find the files before this date) years ago. It was located under the folder \Measurements\Obsolete even at this time, and it seems to be the same VI (he calls in the DLL). The following year he then changed locations to the niScopeObsolete.llb directory. I was unable to find a version that contained simply property nodes, but you are right that the features are essentially the same. Actually, this is the most likely reason that it is not a top-level function that exists in one of pallets of NOR-SCOPE function, since it is only used in some measures specific and exact functionality can be achieved through the use of knots of property.

You are able to make use of the current version you found in niScopeObsolete.llb or maybe just nodes of property without any problems? I'm interested in knowing what else was different with the 'new' version that you had with the nodes property. Is that what the icon and/or documents of the VI is different? Do you still have this VI you can join? I want to assure you that this change did not affect your application beyond the confusion to have the situation has changed.

  • Any directory on Cisco E20

    Hi all

I seem to have a problem with the phone book from TMS to my Cisco E20.

    E20 software: TE4.1.1

I have an account in my configuration directory that can be used.

I am able to record my E20 and make calls.

When to use this account on Jabber (Movi) I am also able to search the directory, but not on my E20.

If the access control settings seem ok.

If I'm not mistake this should be possible even if my E20 is not added as a system in the system browser right?

    Peter,

Make sure that you put into service the following two configurations to your E20 for working directories:

    Type of directory server: VCS

URL of the directory server: FQDN of the VCS

To do this, the E20 must be able to reach the VCS via its FULL domain name. You can use the same SCV that you use to configure the E20.

    Hope this helps,

  • Commissioning directory - deactivation of addresses non-findme to appear in search results

So I findme, and I have several devices to the title of each user.

Is it possible for the configuration directory to only return the alias findme for users in the form of [email protected] / * / instead of several entries in the format of [email protected] / * /?

I just want them to see (for example) [email protected] / * / when they are looking for my name.

They now see the mboscia.movi of findme alias, mboscia.ex90, mboscia.e20, mboscia.jabbertablet, etc etc.

Users complain that it is confusing and they do not want 1 million of choice, only 1.

    Is this possible?

    Michael-

You can check the following option, import devices put into service, under the source directory provisioning > advanced settings.  It is checked or unchecked?

If it is checked it will do exactly as it says and import the address of the device placed in service in the phone book, you'll want to uncheck this option.

  • TMS directory failed in the endpoints of series C after the migration of the device to the virtual computer

    Hi all

We have migrated the 12.8 TMS from the device to the TMS 13.0 on the VM platform. There is no matching TMSPE and mainly used for management and directory service.

Once the migration is complete on the platform of the VM, we found that endpoint C-series could not receive phonebook of TMS (while 95 MXP endpoints works very well with the TMS directory).

The end point of series C, we check the Configuration-> directory server 1: URL. The link is converted from http:// /tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx http:// tms/public/external/phonebook/phonebookservice.asmx.

(In addition, we check the authorization of the two phone book page, and there is no IIS issue).

In the 95 MXP endpoint, it can receive the telephone directory unit VM MSD and MSD.

    Best regards

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

As confirmed by the curl command - you don't have access to the web page as an anonymous user.  You have to fix your permissions.  One of the fastest ways to do would be to try to reinstall the MSDS on the server again - this should reconfigure the IIS settings required for TMS.

  • With regard to Apex configuring the listener using Weblogic Server.

    Dear all,

Well, I have configured my interlocutor Apex in my Web server and everything worked fine. But my requirement is like I need for my URL should like this format http://hostname/ReportServer: port/dev/apex but by default, as we know it comes as http://hostname/ReportServer: port/apex/dev (as I gave the url mapping path/dev). So I tried by changing its name as DEV while deploying the APEX. File. WAR and I gave the root context than dev. Now question is even if configuration directory given i like "dev" but still its showing as 'Listener not configured'. Pls someone help me in this. Help is very appreciated.

    My configuration file is "/home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/dev"

But even once apex named subdirectory is created inside this dev automatically.

In regards to this link, I had an idea but its incomplete since his unanswered, so I'm bit confused too.

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/2134379

I thought to change httpd.conf file and give redirect URL but I'm not sure that can we redirect modulewise as separate 'apex' named subdirectory is created in "dev" then configuration gets effect as how it will work and mod_rewrite option I have seen but can't understand as including one to pick up. Please suggest...

My Version of the apex is 4.2.3

    Apex listener Version is 2.0.3

As appropriate, any other information please ask me.

    Kind regards

    Nitesh Perron.

    Dear all,

Finally I found the solution for this.  I put here so that it can be useful to others who may face difficulties like me,.

    Floorconstruction:

After changing the root of context just start your deployed war file and test it.

    While reaching the URL,

Web page showing "listener apex not configured" and it will show you the location of the configuration on the Web page itself.

Then you simply copy all directories and subdirectories (that were created when you set up your database using the file. War) at the location that shown on the Web page.

As we change the root context so a named directory context root allows to create inside the path configured, if web is unable to find configurations because it happens inside the different directory so just copy everything and try. It worked for me very smoothly.

My position was ' /home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/apex"(before changing the context root in weblogic server).

Then after the change and start the deployment once again, it became ' /home/oracle/apex_listener.2.0.3.221.10.13/dev', since I gave my root of context like "dev."

So here I just copied directory "apex" on the dev directory and it worked fine and I got my desired URL as http://localhost:port/dev/apexhttp://localhostport .

And all applications also works very well.

Still, I felt its not correct way to view security, but this is the solution I found and I will try apache to redirect my URL.

    Thank you

    Kind regards

    Nitesh Perron.

  • OEDQ integration with Active Directory - disable SSL

    Hi mates,

I just installed OEDQ (latest version) on a Unix machine (deployed on WebLogic Server 10.3.6) but I have a few concerns:

    • SSL communications -> is mandatory? I mean, I tried to expose dndirector via a Server Web Apache OHS admin page. I am able to access the page from admin in raw mode, but every time I try to access a specific feature (dashboard, user management, server configuration, etc.) I am redirected to https://< web-server-hostname >: < wls-server-ssl-port > / dndirector, if this is not what I expect. What's wrong? Moreover, if SSL is required, is there a way to expose the console via apache (avoiding any redirect)?

    • OEDQ with Active Directory -> documentation- OEDQ integration with Active Directory - covers just Single Sign-on configuration (on the two Windows/Unix os). What about a simple configuration pointing to an external ldap? The documentation States the following statement:

It is also possible to configure OEDQ to work with servers of different directory for authentication of users and the identification of the user. For more information on the alternative configurations, "see"contact us" "

So, how can I achieve this?

    Pointers?

    Thanks in advance,

    Marco

    Marco

Here is an example configuration that can be used to integrate with AD.  Create a folder called Security in your Disqualification configuration directory, and save the file in this folder as login.properties.  There are a few supporinting of documentation online this process in aid of the Disqualification.

Here is the file, I'll add a few notes below:

realms = internal, adgss = false

    ad.realm                      = EXAMPLE.COMad.auth                       = ldapad.auth.bindmethod            = digest-md5ad.auth.binddn                = search: sAMAccountNamead.ldap.server                = dc.example.comad.ldap.auth                  = simplead.ldap.user                  = [email protected]                    = testad.ldap.profile               = adsldapad.ldap.prof.defaultusergroup = testgroupad.ldap.prof.useprimarygroup  = false

The kingdoms line indicates that the 'internal' (Disqualification internal users such as dnadmin) Kingdom and the Kingdom of AD should be used.  Once you are satisfied with the integration of ads you can remove the internal domain and use AD exclusively.  The domain property sets the name of the field AD - here I used EXAMPLE.COM.

The server property sets the DNS name of the AD server.  If omitted, it is looked up in the DNS.

The lines of the user and pw are used to connect to AD Disqualification.

The defaultusergroup line is the name of a LDAP group that contains all users who will use the Disqualification.  The default value for this is domain users that contains usually much too many users.

Once it is setup and working, you can go to Setup user Disqualification and see a link to external groups that attach ad with Disqualification groups groups to assign permissions to users.

    I hope this helps.

  • Manually configure the listener apex via command line

I would like to be able to configure the listener apex via the command line.
Is there an api or method to achieve this?

Is it possible to take an apex-config. XML as a template and make changes to this environment and place it in the config.dir directory
According to me, placing a! in front of the clear text password cryptera apex listener reboot?

Is the method of model above a taken way in charge of the configuration of the apex listener script languages?

I set the value of config.dir for /apex_lsnr
This will search the apex - config.xml in the directory above or it will search the XML in /apex_lsnr/apex?

    +/apex_lsnr + would be option 1 - who doesn'work currently.

++ refers to the 'context' you have deployed your APEX listener, so if you used the default value (apex) this would actually
    +/apex_lsnr/apex +.

    -Online cp apex - config.xml $DOMAIN_HOME/apex_lsnr/apex

Note that APEX auditor records the location of the apex - config.xml, he uses actually started. If it comes to the temporary location (default), he found nothing in your configured directory.

  • Configuration file management custom specific server

I have a domain (testdomain) with two manager servers deployed on node1 and node2. The server administrator is also deployed on node1. I have also a custom configuration file that I save as areas/testdomain/config/test subdirectory in both nodes. The configuration file contains specific values in server. The problem is that whenever I start the managed server in node2, the custom configuration file is replaced by that of node 1 (where the server administrator is deployed). How can I avoid this? Notice that I'm using 11g and would like to keep my config file in the subdirectory domains/testdomain/config.

Managed server always updates the entire configuration directory (DOMAIN_HOME/config /) in their local computer with the directory "config" of server computer admin to each managed server restart.
It is to ensure that the managed server always gets the last configuration whenever he starts. This is necessary and expected behavior.

I don't know why you want to maintain a separate configuration for node2, all nodes in an area still should have the same configuration (config.xml file).

Maybe if I understand your condition, I can suggest a better solution to achieve it rather than trying to keep a separate copy of the configuration for node2 in the config directory.

If you have specific files to the server, we encourage you to keep DOMAIN_HOME/servers / Directory. For example, areas/DomaineTest/servers/managedserver2/test /.

  • Recovery Vista Help - Satellite L300-149

    Hi all!

Have you tried many places and can't find the answer I'm looking for, so here I am.

My nephew has a Toshiba Satellite L300 - 149 that will not start after Windows Vista log in screen.

I want to do a complete system restore on it (ie. back to the factory settings).

Now, it was delivered without recovery disks which seems to be the norm these days so after much seraching I found directions to press the F8 key and press zero to startup.

Now... F8 displays a menu (zero key does nothing), but the menu (Options Advanced or something) does NOT include the option to fix the system. It brings up a list of other things including...

    ENABLE BOOT LOGGING
    ENABLE VGA MODE
    LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION
    DIRECTORY SERVICES
    DEBUG MODE
    DISABLE AUTO RE START

There are a few other options too, but not one that offers a full recovery.

Can anyone shed some light on how I can do a full restore via HARD drive, or if this model even supports the option? (There were absolutely no tampering with the OS since you bought it.) If not, where can I get the restore disks from?

    Thank you

    Bear

    Hey,.

The exact description of recovery of the HARD drive that you can find here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

As you can see the option to fix my computer is necessary for the Toshiba HDD recovery process.

If it s is not available, you must use the Toshiba recovery disc. This disk can restore factory settings too, but the whole disk will be wiped. So if you have important data on it should perform a backup before. ;)

  • TestStandModelReportOptions.ini in teststand 2012?

    Hello

I just upgraded from Teststand 2010 to 2012.  We have always had our teststand configuration directory points to a directory under our tree of source control.  In this directory, teststand used to store changes to the configuration of the report in a file called TestStandModelReportOptions.ini.  This doesn't seem to be the case more for 2012.  It stores the configuration of report to which file?  Is it possible to force the old behavior (stored in the configuration directory defined in Configuration/Preferences/Options of Configure Directory / Station)?

    Thank you

    David J.

The report and database configurations (and any other configuration of the processor of the result) is now stored in \ModelPlugins\ResultProcessing.cfg.

So it is still under the specified configuration directory location, just in a subfolder.

  • TestStand 4.2 string not found error in the language resource files

I installed the TestStand 4.2 on two Windows XP computers.  On a machine it worked fine first time. On the other machine, I get the following message if poster in the login box and also in the component models: ' String not found in language resource files. "I tried uninstalling and reinstalling TestStand twice but you still get this error.  This error is preventing me from being able to log in as administrator, so I am unable to use TestStand 4.2. I understand that these language resource files are supplied by the installer, but for some reason, it seems that the machine with the error cannot locate these.

The only difference between the two XP machines I can find is the location of user profiles.  I note that on versions of TestStand compatible Vista, that TestStand user settings are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\Components on XP machines.  On the XP machine with the error all the user profiles are stored in C:\profiles, instead of C:\Documents and Settings.  This is the standard profile used by our company so I am not able to change that. TestStand Setup recognizes this and install for C:\profliles\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\TestStand 4.2\ TestStand user parameters.  Does anyone know if the location of user profiles is important, or if there is another cause of this error?

    Kind regards

    David

    David-

The cause of the channels being found is probably at the first launch of TS, the language files are not found. The language files contain default values, and these values are kept as actual values during the recording of the configuration files. For example, the default administrator name and the default folders in the Insert palette. I would recommend that you delete the file Users.ini and Templates.ini in the configuration directory and this should address your current behavior. I don't know why the connection appeared a problem because I was able to use the blank password on the user 'String not found in language resource files. If you still have problems with the connection, let us know.

You remember something unique about how you came to this situation that caused this to happen?
