  1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  2. you receive an error message when you insert the first disc?

  There is a possibility that the first disc is defective.

  To check if the disc is defective, I suggest that you check if the drive works fine on another computer.

  Original title: need help to install the Sims 2 double deluxe on windows 7!

  So I bought a new hp laptop the other day with windows 7. When I tried to install the sims 2, AutoPlay does not appear. I therefore went into my computer and right-click on the driver to open the disc so I could install it elsewhere instead, but it freezes on me. I tried a couple times, but it keeps freezing. And the only way to stop the gel's out the disc deluxe double sims 2. I'm reallly need help with this problem.

  You can try to start the computer in a clean boot state, try to install the game and check if this solves the problem.

  Start your computer in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  SIM city 4 is compatible with Windows 7.

  Step 1: Clean and examine the CD

  If you have problems to install the program from the CD, the CD may be dirty or damaged.

  Use a CD-ROM cleaning kit, or gently wipe the silver part of the CD-ROM with a soft and Lint cotton cloth. Don't use paper. Paper can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the CD-ROM, wipe from the center of the disc outward. Do not use a circular motion.

  If the drive does still not work, clean the disc using warm water or with a CD-ROM. wipe cleaning kit disc and then retest the drive.

  Step 2: check if the drive is detected on another computer.

  Step 3: You can contact the manufacturer support and check to help on the issue-

  You have successfully updated your hardware drivers (video, sound, etc...)?  If this is not the case, make sure that you do this.  You can do a right click on the game .exe file set the compatibility mode on an earlier version of Windows and right-click on it and select run as administrator.
  If these elements do not help then you can use the event viewer and see if an error is generated.  If so, post what is the error so we can address the issue.

  It is very likely that the game requires more resources than your ipad a. I have an iPad 2 and it has a tolerance for graphics applications much lower than my mini 4 (somewhat obvious account bound to the difference between the processor and ram)

  You can try to force it to close all apps you don't use of free resources as much as possible for your game. Double-click the home button and scan all unnecessary applications off the screen to close. then simple tap on the home page to exit this mode. Also, I restarted my iPad and iPod older on a daily basis. Press the sleep and home for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver Apple, let go and let it reboot and see if that helps.

  I have windows Vista and have been using it for a while to play the sims 3 and download games via original EA downloader/store.  I had run a windows update and an original updated in the last days and therefore my sims 3 expansion packs ceased to operate.  I uninstalled all and have reinstalled the original game of the downloader of origin and now when I try to download my expansion packs I get an error message saying that windows has prevented the application creates a download directory, please accept the UAC prompt to start to download this game.  I approved the promt and they have same message came still high and so I disabled UAC altogether and still got the same error message, I looked on the EA forums and the only line I can find of them our it may be a windows problem (which I doubt)?  Can you help me?

  Compatibility mode can be touched and don't miss some.  Some older games will simply not work on Win7.  Tried to see if the developer has made a patch to fix all the problems? MVP - Windows desktop experience
