  SIM city 4 is compatible with Windows 7.

  Step 1: Clean and examine the CD

  If you have problems to install the program from the CD, the CD may be dirty or damaged.

  Use a CD-ROM cleaning kit, or gently wipe the silver part of the CD-ROM with a soft and Lint cotton cloth. Don't use paper. Paper can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the CD-ROM, wipe from the center of the disc outward. Do not use a circular motion.

  If the drive does still not work, clean the disc using warm water or with a CD-ROM. wipe cleaning kit disc and then retest the drive.

  Step 2: check if the drive is detected on another computer.

  Step 3: You can contact the manufacturer support and check to help on the issue-

  You can try to run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode by using the following steps:

  To run the troubleshooting program compatibility Troubleshooter

  a. open the resolution of the problems of compatibility of programs by clicking the Start button, then Control Panel. In the Search box, type Troubleshooting, and then click Troubleshooting. Under programs, click on run for previous versions of Windows programs.

  b. follow the directions contained in the resolution of the problems.

  You have successfully updated your hardware drivers (video, sound, etc...)?  If this is not the case, make sure that you do this.  You can do a right click on the game .exe file set the compatibility mode on an earlier version of Windows and right-click on it and select run as administrator.
  If these elements do not help then you can use the event viewer and see if an error is generated.  If so, post what is the error so we can address the issue.

  You can try to start the computer in a clean boot state, try to install the game and check if this solves the problem.

  Start your computer in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

  It is very likely that the game requires more resources than your ipad a. I have an iPad 2 and it has a tolerance for graphics applications much lower than my mini 4 (somewhat obvious account bound to the difference between the processor and ram)

• Impossible to get T-Mobile SIM to work in Windows 8

  I have Windows 8 is installed.  The laptop is a Sony VAIO VPCSB with built in SIM card reader, allowing 3 G/GPRS connectivity.   I have a T-Mobile Data only SIM card active, worked in Windows 7, and still works in a Huawei T-Mobile Hotspot device.
  8 WIndows recognizes the device (Sony uses Gobi 2000), and I have the ability to switch mobile data power via the PC settings.
  
  When I try to connect, Windows 8 by default, Verizon network settings.   I try to change it to T-Mobile by entering a string of network (t - mobile.co.uk), the username and the password * (provided by T-Mobile).   None of these parameters work.
  I work in it, so reasonably tech savvy.  I would like to know if there is a dorsal location (e.g. Control Panel) instead of Windows 8 PC installation interface to define the parameters of my T-Mobile APN?
  Similarly, confused why Windows 8 is failing to Verizon.  In Windows 7, it automatically recognized as a T-Mobile SIM card.

Do not use cloth of paper which can scratch the plastic and leave streaks. When you clean the disc, wipe from the center of the disc outward. Do not use a circular motion. If the problem persists, clean the disc with a damp cloth or a commercial CD or DVD cleaning solution. Dry the disc thoroughly until you insert the disc in the drive.
