Simple dvd creation

I need application that will allow me to

  1. Produce DVDs with photos and videos of mobile phone, and
  2. I would like to burn to dvd for broadcasting on any dvd player

Just can't understand why imovie does not allow you to do

We have the El Captain operating system

iMovie is an editor, don't know why you would expect author of dying formats discs. iDVD is the app that Apple used for it

Other options:

Burn: http://macupdate.com/app/mac/21992/burn

Toast: http://macupdate.com/app/mac/6351/toast-titanium

But there are also many others. Research on the App Store or MacUpdate

  • DVD creation ends after 3 1/2 hours with the error (- 2).

I used live Movie maker windows to create a WMV file I've used before you create a dvd but this time, instead of using the size 640 x 480 (which is the same as the AVI file that my takes camera, I selected create a movie in 720 p (and I also tried a size hd with the same results) progress goes to 99% then ends with an error in the event log shows two errors)
    1

Dvd creation engine returned an error (-2) code when burning the disc

    2nd

DVD Maker returned an error code (0xFFFFFFFE) when burning the disc.

both have the same time stamp

looking at some forums where people have the same error, it gives to think it's a codec issue! but the creation of a dvd with the size 640 x 480 works o/k also windos movie maker files work o/k only windows live movie maker with show 720 p and 1080 p problem.

commits too present some of the forums tend to suggest the creation of dvd does not create movies properly so also as another question, I'm wasting my time scaling a 640 x 480 in FullHD? or do I just create asis 640 x 480 wmv of my avi files.

as a point of interest, some of the suggested fitting the latest codecs vista http://www.codecs.com forums, but all that did was cause creation of dvd fails

    Failing application DVDMaker.exe, version 6.0.6002.18005,
    timestamp 0x49e02385,
    module failed unknown, version 0.0.0.0,
    timestamp, 0x00000000,
    exception 0xc0000005 code,
    offset 0x5df44770,
    process 0x169c ID,
    start time of application 0x01ca9a8fdd44263e.
which of course, unknown so I removed the patch of codecs and retried again, but it is not like before.

any suggestions or solutions would be welcome.
After working on computers since 1960, I thought I could fix most of the problems, but this one beat me!

I think I found the opposite of this problem

I had been the creation of the video using Director or live movie maker, and then using DVD maker free-standing.

If I use now live movie maker, but instead select 1080 p/720 p / big screen etc, but selct dvd
He creates the image and then calls DVD maker and creates the o/k on DVD movie

If the option of 1080 / 720 p may not work with some dvd maker Microsoft could comment?

  • The MTS files & Windows DVD creation (Windows 7 x 64)

Question: Windows DVD Maker does not recognize the MTS format.
    Camera: Panasonic DMC - TZ7
File format: MTS (AVCHD Lite HD)
    OS: Windows 7 x 64

There are a few comments on the similar topic. I would like to know if there is some way I can get the creation of DVD to read MTS files without converting it to other formats.

If I convert it, is it a tool of MS that I can use without buying a third-party tool 3. MTS format has been around for a while and I'm surprised that the creation of DVD in Windows 7 does not support.
    Vimal.

    Hello

You must first convert AVCHD (.mts) .avi files or any other file format and then burn using Windows DVD creation. Create DVD does not recognize the format .mts and
There are no Microsoft tool to convert the file formats.

I suggest you to search using your favorite search engine. You will find many free online conversion tools.

  • I burned a dvd using windows dvd creation, when I watch it, after the first 20 minutes, that the image becomes almost black and white with pink exaggeratted shadows. WHY?

I am compiling my football teams game film.  I created a dvd using Windows DVD Maker.  Each game is a single video file to AVI format.  When I preview the video, no problem. After having carved, (2 trials) when I watch the DVD, the menu screens look good, the video of the first part looks fine, but from second game, or of the stage, the video quality changes.  The video becomes almost black and white.  The shadows and the highlights of the video seem to be exaggerated and that they are pink color.  It seems to be an effect of video editing, but I did no changes to the video features.  Help.

  • Can Satellite Pro U400-13I - I reinstall the CD/DVD creation software?

    Hello

Can someone help me with my problem.
I have a Satellite Pro U400-13I and use XP he. As I experienced some problems with the creation of CD, I decided to uninstall and reinstall.
However, I am unable to find the program to install only the software above without having to run the XP DVD recovery (which will format the entire HARD drive), I have a lot of data and some third party software that I do not want to miss, so is unable to format the drive HARD rightaway.

    Would appreciate a solution

    Thanks in advance
    SJ

What program you mean exactly for creating CD/DVD?

If you mean the Toshiba disk creator I think it can t be downloaded. I checked from Toshiba Web site but I can't find it.
But you can use another program to create CD/DVD, for example Nero or CD Burner XP (freeware).

    I hope I could help a bit.

  • Failed to retrieve old or new projects DVD Windows DVD creation (photos)

Receive: ERROR LOADING DVD MAKER PROJECT: the foreground video file is not accessible. The setting was erased? Kenneth Tyson

I guess that you are referring to a project creating DVDs of .msdvd file?

Are all the files (photos, video clips, music files) source
always recorded at the original location? They are not included in
the project... file it simply records the path to the files in their
    original locations.

  • Create simple DVDs of several

I have the DVD of my in-laws birthday, as well as each of their memorial services, each of the three events is on a separate DVD.

All together, they come to less than 2 GB, so we want to copy the three files in one DVD for each of our sons, so that each would have a DVD with all three events on it.

Each of the three DVD has the same file structure:
    VIDEO_TS\
    VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS. BUP
    VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS. IFO
    VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS. VOB
    VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP
    VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.IFO
    VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB
    VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.VOB

I appreciate any help you can give me!

    Deina

    VOB files are video files.

If you're running Vista Home Premium or Ultimate
You may be able to import the VOB files in Windows
DVD Maker just as they are. If they will matter not as
VOB files... you might try to rename their. MSGM if this
also fails, you will need to convert them to the. WMV
    format.

  • Windows DVD creation - Windows 7

I just spent some time creating a DVD on the software above.  I added the MPEG 2 files that I converted from Daily Motion and it burned on a DVD. The instructions say:

After you create a DVD, you can play the DVD on a DVD player and watch your movies and slide shows on TV. The following steps explain how to use creation of Windows DVD to burn a DVD.

However, I put the DVD in my DVD player connected to my TV and it wouldn't work, only on my PC.  Please can someone help?  I have the MPEGs and options within the creation of DVD in PAL that I am in the United Kingdom.

  • I would like to make a simple DVD layer after successful burning double layer. But how?

Hi all. I have a good DVD double layer of 8.54 GB of a project yet. Now, I would like to make a single-layer disc 4.7 GB or a picture from the same project. How do I do that?

When I change the settings to disk information, the data remain too large for the small capacity disc/image. I don't know that I'm missing something simple here. Tried searching but couldn't find the answer.

And also, I'm having a similar problem if I wanted to burn a DVD from a project created for a blu - ray player?

If you transcoded in Encore, you select the active (not the timeline), right-click and "return to the original." If you transcoded before import into Encore, you go back to the source. You can select the asset and change the transcoding settings of "do not transcode" to a new setting, but this results in undesirable re-compression.

The question is similar to the first Bluray, but still trails transcode Bluray and DVD separately. Thus, "back them to the original" is not the issue. Still use the original asset, not the assets of Bluray. HOWEVER, if you have imported a file ready Bluray you exported from your application of editing (Pro/Adobe Media Encoder first), then you have the problem of double compression again. Exporting a different file to MPEG2-DVD.

In addition, HD to SD downrezzing doesn't do well in again.

  • Need help with simple database creation in number.

I'm trying to create a simple database in number to capture the case IDs on my place of work. After you have entered a value in the worksheet 1 details must automatically added to sheet 2. Once the case details are entered and user click on the "submit" button (could not include in the screenshot), it should appear in the sheet 2. If number offers this feature, it would be very useful for me.

    Thanks to ddvance,

    Nanan

Why don't you just enter values directly in the second table?  You could format C and D in the context Menu.
