Siri on iPhone SE

Hello

First of all, I would like to ask you if the iPhone takes care the Siri, when it is not connected to a power source.

If it supports using the Siri, when the iPhone is not connected to a power source, I would like to report a problem with my iPhone SE. I know how it should work, but it doesn't.

Thank you very much in order,

Jakub

Here is the quote from Apple:

Enable or disable the "Hey Siri" and customize the functionality

To ask questions without pressing the Home button, plug your electrical appliance and turn on ' Hey Siri. With iPhone iPhone 6s, 6s more, iPhone and iPad (9.7 inches) Pro SE you can use this feature without plugging power.

  1. Go to settings > general > Siri.
  2. Turn on "Hey Siri."
  3. In iOS 9 or later, follow the prompts on the screen to make your most recognizable voice for "Hey Siri." * This reduces the chances that other people accidentally activates Siri on your device.

You can disable "Hey Siri" in settings > general > Siri. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later, you can also temporarily disable "Hey Siri" by setting your device face down.

* Your voice information is not tracked or stored outside your iOS device. You can remove this information from your device by disabling "Hey Siri."

  • Siri on iPhone 6

SIri provides the voice that is barely audible on the phone but cannot hear through the Bluetooth connection. Volume to the max and I tried many suggestions in further discussion without result. Answers appear on the screen but no voice, this also happens on my iPad 2 Air. I use no regularly Siri but hold back vocal. Apparently took place after the upgrade to iOS 9, currently on 9.2. • I use Siri on iPhone and iPad. Siri, both responding to a call.

I carry two devices always with me. We stay at my desk and another one goes with me, sometimes both are with me.

Appeal of Siri, meet two Siris. Disable a Siri is not a good solution.

Is it possible to call "Hello Siri" and "Hey Siri" making the difference between the two?

    Concerning

Your only option would be to use 2 different "voices."

You can calibrate Siri for each device, but I don't think that you can use different words.

  • Siri dials is no longer my partner

Before this recent update I had no problem at all call my partner using siri. She recorded her name correctly in the text and her dial correctly. It was essentially 100% accurate and convenient. But now he records his name in the text correctly every time but will display a list of choice almost right, but his don't quite understand. If I get my girl to try it, she gets a much bigger list of incorect. It's used to work for her. It's a particular issue for me because I want it to be able to reliably call his mom of my phone. Especially in an emergency. There is no change to its contact record and she is always top of the list of favorites.

In the your daughter iPhone Contacts application.

Make sure your wife contact information and the girl is in Contacts

in your coordinates daughter use Add related name

example of a MOM... and choose your wife contact information.

So using Siri on iPhone girl will be

    Call MOM

  • iPhone 7 more - Siri iOS10 not work and does not

I received my iPhone 7 Plus 3 days ago and tried to set up "Hey Siri". In the process, I noticed that Siri was insensitive and does not work.

I did some troubleshooting and started with the reset, restore, turned dictation & Siri/off voltage (before and after reboot) and still no response from Siri.

I proceeded to remove the hardware problem by making a call and speaking directly into the microphone with high and low height during a call. Nobody who assists heard both high and low perfectly. I only tested the microphone with voice memo and the microphone worked fine.

Called customer service on speaker (which call was working properly) but they were unable to provide a response, rep said she would follow with me Wednesday.

I press the home button, Siri will appear with the wavelength and as soon as I said a word Siri States "I didn't understand" and rest wavelength normal. I don't know if there is a problem with my phone or iOS10, but if someone has an answer or has the same issue please chime. Thank you!

iOS 10, when using Siri, you hold DOWN the home button while talking with Siri.  Release the button when you are finished speaking.

    Best,

  • "Hey Siri" does not not on iPhone 7 more

    Hi guys!

I just bought an iPhone 7 more, als is al and running except for one small thing...
"Hey Siri" does not work as it should.

"Hey Siri" is enabled in the settings and works when the screen is activated (locked or unlocked), but not when the screen is not enabled.

On the iPhone 6 s more than one of my friends, "Hey Siri" works fine when the screen is not activated and the phone is locked.
We checked the parameters of "Hey Siri", and they are all the same.

-That someone knows the same 'problem '?

(I talked to the Apple Support via Twitter, and they me completely restore my brand new iPhone via iTunes.) "(Mais cela ne fonctionne pas ou l'autre)."

Both phones, Plus 7 iPhone and iPhone 6s more are running the latest iOS, iOS 10.0.2 (released yesterday)

NNeeds to be plugged on feeding in addition to having an active internet connection or wifi or cellular data.

  • Impossible to make FaceTime calls on iPhone 7 using Siri

I tried to use Siri to do a FaceTime call tonight and gave an unusual error: "I wish I could, but FaceTime is configured with me yet."

I'm able to get Siri to open the FaceTime app, simply cannot access directly from my contacts and apart from this Siri works fine on the iPhone 7, including SMS and regular audio calls.

I tried a FaceTime using Siri call on 3 old iPhone models (5s, 6 + and 6s), all running iOS 10, and it worked properly on each of them, she was with both iOS 9 and 10 on the same model of 6s for the past year, so this leads me to believe it's a problem iPhone 7 (or an individual defective unit) rather than a problem of iOS 10.

I checked a number of settings on the iPhone 7 before coming here:

    • Siri is enabled.
    • FaceTime is activated.
    • Restrictions (general-> Restrictions) are completely shut down.
    • iCloud-> contact is activated.

    Hi there jsf23!

Welcome to Apple Support communities, it's my pleasure to help you with your iPhone 7 issue of Siri is not able to make FaceTime calls.  I use Siri all the time and have his power making FaceTime calls is another great feature.  Looks like you have checked a lot of things I want to check too, if I fell on the same subject.

At any time, that there is a problem with Siri or FaceTime, the first thing I recommend is to restart the iPhone and retest Siri and FaceTime.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If Siri is still underway on issues from a FaceTime call, try to perform a reboot of the force.  Remember, this will be a little different on an iPhone 7.

    • On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 more: press and hold the sleep/wake and Volume buttons down for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Test again and then try to check for updates.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

    Have a great day!

  • After the 10.0 update iphone 6 siri s includes all issues

After 6 sec until ios siri 10.0 update no longer works.

Tap Settings > Siri can disable the Siri then back on then restart your iPhone and try to Siri.
