Size 50mm Macro life adapter/converter

I own the lens macro 50mm f: 2.5.  This objective will focus to 1/2 size but for life-size Canon indicates that I need to buy their single adapter that cost an arm and a leg.  What is the advantage of using the adapter/converter Canon instead of use the simple extension tube?

Thank you.

Richard D.

It is true that you can change the distance of focus of the lens EF 50 mm f/2.5 Compact Macro by simply adding an extension to her tube.  To reach anywhere near life size magnification (1 x), you need the extension EF 25 II.

The downside is that you do not quite hit the objective of magnification of size of life with an extension tube and you add an extra 25mm in focal length, which changes the working distance.  The Salvation Converter allows you to reach 1 x magnification size life while keeping the working distance and a shorter focal length, which is great for the work of copy stand or photograph the great work.

    Hello

I have an ssd at a broken macbook air thnsn2128gsps,
Is there a converter normal SATA or USB interface 2/3?

I understand these SSDS use 3.3V and the normal SATA is 5V, so a voltage change is necessary.

I want to just connect to a PC (Got the software to read macdisks) to get the data off the drive.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Change the Cluster size in drive with VM-converter

    All the morning

We'll probably replace our storage environment with that provided by a new provider.

Our current provider has a recommended 4 k Cluster size. So all our VMDK is configured with a cluster of 4K, size happy days.

However, the new seller we recommend 8 k.

So I thought v2v ING our server domain to the new platform, change the size of the block in the Advanced tab of VM-converter in the process, which gives us the system formatted with 8 K blocks.

There is however a Requirement MS that the system drive is 4 k (otherwise it wont power on). Its this little pesky 100 MB partition...

    Now comes the rub;

The 100 MB system partition, part of the first drive (C:\). If I P2V the first drive with a cluster of 8 k size I of course get a non bootable server.

When in fact I want actually to v2v 1 drive (C:\). As 8 KB, but leave the small single 100 MB system partition with the default of 4 k, however because they are part of the same disc, and converter seems to work at a disk level and not the level of the Partition, converter just wants to make all that is a problem.

Any ideas on how to accomplish the foregoing.

    See you soon

    Hi there mate

Sorry for the delay, we are testing at the mo and I could not devote much time to this.

Any ways I cracked it, I was testing on a 2 k 3 box where something like minitool would be necessary to finish the change of cluster size in the C:\ for the reasons given.

But when v2v - ing (with VM converter) a k box 8 or 2012 2 the system partition is presented to the converter as an independent drive and can therefore remain @ 4 k while the C:\ D:\ etc. can be adjusted as required using the advanced settings.

So in the end, you have a system with drives using the required cluster size and a system bootable...

just for future reference should it be useful to anybody.

  • Problem with the size of the logo when converting to eps

I'm all new to Illustrator. I created a logo and converted to an eps file. My problem is that when I use the logo, it is a big place with a lot of empty space on the bottom. I size the jury of the art of the area around the logo, but when I convert it I always get this great place with the logo on the top when I paste it into my word document. How do I get cropped to the correct size. I've got someone waiting for that and I can't even it in a format they can use.

Looks like there is a hidden somewhere element forcing the whole document whenever this element is, even outside of the artboard.  Just a hunch.  Make a command Y (Mac) or control (PC) is to see the contours.  Then do a "select all" and see if the item appears anywhere.  Find it and delete it.  Now, maybe there is no hidden item.  That's what I do for each logo I prep would be: a.) if the work is h 2 "x 3" w (hypothetically speaking), set the size of your 3 x 5 work plan.  Define a holding imaginary line to the size 3 x 5 using a rectangle of 3 x 5 with no line and no fill > then lock it (object > lock selection).  You can benefit by exporting the work as a .tiff RGB and using them in Word.  However, you can import or insert a .eps in Word, but what works best.  I hope this helps.

  • Why to convert all versions of converter size disc with decimals?

If you can convert a VM of 20 GB say 30 GB shows that 30.029238383 GB size in the size of the disk when you change the settings of the virtual machine.

Anyone know why this is? They cannot convert integers alone?

    Many thanks,

The disk size is approximate. The computation of the exact size of the disk, the converter takes into account several considerations such as partition alignment, cluster size that can be changed, the dynamic volumes being converted to base, start the partitions, metadada. (I say not all affect the size of the disk, emphasizing that it is not as simple)

  • WPS54G with USB adapter series

    Hi all

I wonder if anyone has had any experience of the present.

I have a pretty old thermal printer that I want to make it available on our network with the WPS54G. The printer has a connection series and I tried a couple of USB adapters plugged into the serial print server, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to detect that nothing is connected (green USB not clear on the face front of the server).

A native USB printer works fine via the print server, and I know that the cards are solid, I can print to the printer via the cards under Windows.

However, Windows detects the card first and install a driver for it when you plug it in and I assume that it is this step that I won't be able to replicate on the print server and so it can't communicate with the printer at all.

Someone has it conquered or I'm on a losing battle?

Any help would be appreciated so thank you in advance if anyone can help!

    Kind regards

    Rich

If this card is connected PC for your priner, I think you also have to install a driver on PC for this card. The adapter converts the signal set to USB, the driver converts the signal from USB to serial. But for the WPS54G this is impossible, so that is why your way does not work.

    http://www.Lantronix.com/device-networking/external-device-servers/Wibox.html

-Online has two ports Serial server must be able to work with your printer.

Regarding the series server, you also have to install the driver on your computer.

Once connected, you will think of it like your printer is connected to your computer. If you have other computers, you can install the driver in them as well. Then they can also use this printer, but not at the same time.

  • Re: Query HP DV 6928: HDMI usb adapter

My laptop DV 6928 is about 4.5 years old.

I want to buy a converter USB to HDMI, connect the output on my HDTV.

either with or without audio.  (I already have audio from the laptop to the TV - am who currently use the S video output to the TV and the picture is not that good. - and can live with an analog audio output of the PC, hopefully with improved picture quality HDMI.)

Is my phone compatible DV6928 for this type of HD output?

    No audio adapter:

To allow a package to your application during execution OEP, you will need to add it to the application MANIFEST. MF file for the Import Package section (since the OEP server is based on OSGi). There is no need to provide a version number, you can simply enter the name of the package (for example)

Is there a limit of size of file to the converter? It seems that 1 or 2 files together have no problem, but 50 concerts and causes, the source settings are invalid.  I just tested with a tib file 22 concert and it worked fine.

The converter only supports older versions of Acronis (see VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Release Notes). What should work is to use Acronis itself to restore a virtual machine from the .tib file. If the operating system does not start after restoration (e.g. Inaccessible Boot Device), you can run the converter with the configuration option for the restored VM Machine.

    UPDATE: Solution via Hack
I could get this job sort of a hard-working hack.

I first downloaded Acronis image 2014 (a free 30 day trial) then who used to capture the image of the operating system, the * tib file is about 40 GB in size.

Unfortunately VMWare converter works only with version of Acronis 2012, so the *.tib file could not be used directly to the source of the virtual machine

So I created inside VMWare Workstation a new empty VM for Windows XP

I gave her 2 virtual disks hard 50 GB and 50 GB mapped as C: and H:

    reinstalled windows in the C

copied the *.tib in the secondary hard drive H: as shared folders (for example how a USB is sometimes mounted) are not accessible when the Acronis is restoration of the tib via its custom BootLoader

Download and install Acronis image 2014 on this new fresh OS

used Acronis to restore from this backup on H: * tib in the C: crush installing the OS

    reactivated again, windows

fighting pilots who the real differeed

    Defragment the drive VMware

    Seems to work as expected.

I got this job, see the update on the use of Acronis to work around the problem.
