Skype freezes constantly on my installation of Windows 7.

So, uh, I just got Skype 6.18 today, and I had problems with him constantly freezing and usually become numb, with it taking about eight to ten minutes to load a notification on one of my contacts is online. Literally everything I do in it causes unresponsive. I tried what allows Internet Explorer, turn on a certain services which, for purposes of performance, I had turned off, uninstall all the drivers webcam I had installed, remove programs a little while everything else which I think can help or even relevant, but, so far, I have had absolutely no chance. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on an Acer Aspire X3400G with 4 GB of ram installed, a 3.10 GHz AMD Athlon II X 2 255 dual-core processor and a graphics processor NVIDIA GeForce 9200. Anyone think they know what may be causing this?

I have IE 11. I disabled my antivirus scanning program messaging and that seems to have solved the problem.

I can't turn off my computer except by disconnecting it., which means that the power button does nothing.
I did a clean reboot with all the MS drivers without disabilities and she always does, so it is not a software conflict according to Ms.
I am quite at a loss of what to do now; self-help told to ask here.
I see a lot of complaints of this nature but no resolution. Very frustrated.
    Can someone please?

Right now I have disabled all features of sleep on hard disks and screens and power. Also, I took leave fan I added via a double fan--> cord a brooch that I just bought. • Video calls Skype freezes my system

(I'm trying to give as much information as possible in case something is crucial)

I was in a video call with a family member in the Canada. I call them of the Ireland.

Often, Skype would stop and my entire system would freeze and stop working. I have to turn it off completely by using the power button on the laptop. I have no idea of what is happening, I use the latest version of Skype, and I would like to know if there is a way to prevent this.

    Important information no doubt:

    Version of Skype: 7.25.0.106

    Edition: Windows 10 home

    Version: 1511

    Build of the OS: 10586.494

Processor: Intel Core i7-4710HQ CPU @ 2.50 GHz

    RAM: 16 GB

    System type: 64 - bit OS x 64 processor

    https://Downloadcenter.Intel.com/search?keyword=core+I7-4710HQ+

After you install a new operating system, you must also install the appropriate drivers for it. The drivers are the responsibility of device/chipset manufacturers, not Microsoft (since it would be impossible to maintain) and is to be manually updated regularly by the end user, to ensure the best performance and stabillity. (This also applies even if your system comes with Windows 10).

Pilots may not be the case, however, in 98% of all freezing breaks down and 'Skype does not work' etc. involving 10 Windows, it's the cuplprit. Yes, Microsoft should have done a better job informing "instead of value" that they need to update their drivers (from the manufacturer, not from Windows Update), but this must be in the same "realm of knowledge" that what type of fuel your car runs on.

(General rant, unrelated to the OP).

(Drivers that need to be updated: video, audio, chipset (Intel or AMD and it is really important), LAN/WIFI and other things you can have connected to your computer, such as comtrollers/mouse/webcams etc.).

My M40x-189 all one Franco froze during use.

Whenever I rebooted, it froze again within 30 seconds to boot windows xp.
I wiped the hard drive and reinstalled xp but it still freezes.
I started in safe mode and disabled all devices in Device Manager, then allowing one by one.
It seems to re-boot ok and work properly as long as usb host controllers are disabled.

Any advice? Is this software or hardware?

I tried to update the drivers using Drivercure but it doesn't seem to help.

    Any advice greatly appreciated

It is not easy to say if it happens because of hardware or software but with own WXP preinstalled, everything should be OK again.
Did you use original Toshiba recovery CD for the installation of Windows XP Home edition?

By the way: this model of laptop is quite old. You have cleaned up your laptop in the past?

The Council supports Windows 7, you can get the drivers here (the chipset drivers should be the first drivers you install after installing the operating system.)

  • Installation of Windows 7 Professional on a computer laptop windows preinstalled

So yesterday, I did a check disk on C:, but since it froze because of some damage to windows, I force shut down (I'm sorry), but when windows came after that, the internet was off because the diagnosis Services policy has been down. After awhile, I realized that half of my registry was severely damaged causing most of the main as firewall programs and some services stop and does not start again. I checked all permissions, but nothing allows me to activate the services. My computer was really slow and freezing all the time anyway so I want to reset it to factory settings, or at least format my HDD, but the problem is that my HP laptop had Windows 7 Professional pre-installed on it so I have no disk to reinstall. Now I need help or opinnions popular on what to do, please someone help me on how to reinstall windows without the disc. (Restore doesn't work either) (I checked for the virus as well)

    Hello

One option would be to create your own Windows installation disc, but you must always be able to read the activation key of 25 characters for Windows 7 Professional of your COA label - an example of a COA label can be seen here.

You can download the Disk Image, you need from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is here.  These Images are clean and a very respected source - Digital River.

    Images of Windows 7.

Use the disk to perform the installation, enter the activation key of Windows on the label of the COA at the request and once the installation is complete, use ' 'phone Method' described in detail in the link below to activate the operating system -this made method supported by Microsoft and is popular with people who want to just have a new installation of Windows 7 without additional software load normally comes with OEM installations.

    http://www.kodyaz.com/articles/how-to-activate-Windows-7-by-phone.aspx

All pilots additional and the software you may need are by entering either your model number. or Nr here.

  • After Installation of Windows 7, it hangs at the splash screen

Original title: could not get windows 7 or Home server to install

There is a computer on which he worked.  Put in a new drive, because I wanted to reuse it as a home server.

Now, it will not install, tried Windows Home server and Windows 7, they all have two freeze at the same place.

    They both

    1. boot
    2. load files
    3. and then freeze to the windows splash screen.

    All of the suggestions.

    Thank you

    Hello Jeff_Myers,

    Thank you for the question!

It is disheartening to know that have problems you with Windows 7. As I understand it the computer crashes at start Windows after the Installation of Windows 7.

    Method 1:

Disconnect or disable any external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, sound card and graphics card etc.) except the mouse and keyboard and then boot\start the computer.

If this solves the problem, then add back devices at a time until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue.

Method 2: Perform the Windows 7 installation disc Startup Repair by using the Windows recovery environment.

What are the system recovery options in Windows 7?

Answer to us if you are having problems with Windows 7 or any other issue of Windows, and I'd be happy to help you again and try to correct the problem as soon as possible.

    Good day!

    Hope this information helps.

My toshiba satellite is now gel up randomly from the recent installation of windows 8.1!

Seems to happen, especially when streaming movies but when to check email or whatever.

It should stop when it happens because keyboard function used.

What can I do to fix?

    Hello

See if this helps you improve performance.

Search for malicious software with the FREE version of this program.

And does not accept the option "Pay for the version" trial installation

Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

You can clean your hard drive using these two methods.

    "Delete files using Disk Cleanup"

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup#delete-files-using-disk-cleanup=Windows-8

    Using the free CCleaner program:

    http://www.Piriform.com/CCleaner

In NO case use the registry cleaning Option in CCleaner

    @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Make sure you have the latest updated drivers:

Access the site on your computer or equipment manufacturing > Driver and Software Support Section > search your computer or hardware model number > then your operating system > locate the correct drivers > download and install.

And I would check to see if it has damaged system files.

Each method/step below progresses to another if the first does not all corrupted files which are, etc..

And these eightforums.com tutorials are very detailed for the problems resulting from Scan SFC:

"How to run the command" SFC/scannow"at the start or in Windows 8 and 8.1" . "

    http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/3047-sfc-scannow-command-run-Windows-8-a.html

Read it in conjunction with the rest of the information they give link above.

    Note

If SFC could not fix something, then run the new command to see if it can be able to next time. Sometimes, it can take by running the sfc/scannow command 3 times restart the PC after each time completely fix everything what he is capable of.

If this isn't the case, then run Dism/online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair any corruption component store, restart the PC later and try the sfc/scannow command.

If still no, then try using ONE OPTION above to run the command sfc/scannow at the start

If still no, then you could do a Refresh of Windows 8, or run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the wrong file occurred to fix. You may need to repeat doing a restore of the system until you find a restore point that is older that may work.

If not yet, then you can use the steps in the TIP box in the section THREE OPTION to manually replace the files SFC could not fix.

    See you soon.

  • Mac lost during the installation of windows

When installing windows on a MAC, I deleted my partition mac completely and I am now left with windows 7 to my mac book air. Y at - it an option to install mac, I don't mind losing the windows partition

    Hello smarthala,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you deleted by mistake your Mac partition during the installation of Windows. The partition itself deleted or was it the Mac OS that has been erased, leaving an empty partition?

If the latter, you can reinstall OS X from OS X Recovery. See this article for how that should be done: On OS X Recovery
Otherwise, you can use Internet recovery (Command-Option-R, as opposed to the command-R) to repartition the entire hard drive and install the version of Mac OS X provided on your Mac. Who is finished, you can upgrade to El Capitan via the App Store > bought.

    Best regards.
