Skype repeatedly crashing Win - 7
A few months ago, Skype has become unstable. (I think it's around September) He started crashing from time to time when I try and make a call.
At the moment I have uninstalled/re-installed but it did not help.
Since then, I've tried many fixes including, rename the folder appdata/roaming / Skype, install an older version, and finally tonight I did a system update/repair.
I installed the latest version of Skype and now I can't still connect without it crashes instantly.
I am running windows 7 64 bit edition Home premium with 4 GB of ram.
Any help would be appreciated as it is no exaggeration to say that it crashed to about 150 times or more since the beginning of this problem.
You have a very old version of Adobe Flash Player installed. This version is not compatible with Skype.
Skype uses Flash Player for Internet Explorer, then you need to update your Flash in Internet Explorerhelp.
A friend tried to send me a file. I received a notification on the lockscreen. When I open Skype he went to the window of my friend. I tried to click on the file to receive it, but nothing worked. After a few seconds, Skype has minimized at bottom. I went to my Win 7 and got the file machine. Unfortunately, after that I could not discuss with this firend on my Surface. Whenever I received a msg from him and open Skype I could not answer, and the window is reduced after a few seconds. I ran some tests with another user and it turns out he gets not only minimized, it also loses the Internet connection. I uninstalled the app, restarted the Surface and reinstalled. Now my friend is "unlocked", I can discuss with him but when I try to send or receive a file Skype app crashes (reduced, lost connection). Newspapers to look like this:

It seems that, with the new version 8.1, this problem has been fixed on my machine from RT.
Don't know if anyone has experienced the same thing?
The Explorer repeatedly crashes in Windows 7 RC. While browsing through the files and you want to remove some of the video library & hangs with the similar error msg.

Says that c:\windows\explorer.exe is the problem.
I suspect a corrupted system file. SFC could fix that. Reset Internet Explorer can help. At worst, I think you can fix it with a relocation, or "inplace upgrade" Win 7 from the installation DVD.
To determine if the problem you are experiencing is caused by one or more system files that are used by Windows, run the System File Checker tool. The System File Checker tool analyzes the system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
1. click Startand type cmd in the box start the search .
2 right-click cmd in the programs list and then click run as administrator.
3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click continue
4. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER: sfc/scannow
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

I meet my 4th generation iPad's repeated crashes that seem to be caused by iTunes, downloading a movie automatically (so undemanded). There are not enough room on my iPad to download the movie, so I don't not demanding, but the iPad tries repeatedly to download the movie. I disabled automatic downloads for music, apps etc but there is no box to "TIC TAC" for movies.
I'm at the end of my patience, my iPad becomes almost unusable due to the constant breaks down. I think I'll have to do a reset to the factory settings, but I am not convinced that it will heal. I watched the movie on my Apple TV so I can't download it!
Any suggestions would be welcome because I am extremely bothered by this, but in every other sense, I love my iPad. But not when it crashes...
Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).
If this does not help, you may need to restore your iPhone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184
If your backup in iTunes, make sure that it is an encrypted backup.
In the past few days Skype it crashes when I open other apps, like Explorer (even when I plug in other devices such as USB flash drives)

Your case seems to be similar to the following:
Alternatively, you can try to uninstall the 7.18 and install the 184.108.40.206 previous version of Skype.
My TS130 has the simplest configuration, with only 8 + 4 GB of RAM, a 500 GB SATA HDD.
After I bought this server, I used for a year and a half with no problems, running CentOS 6.4. Recently it repeatedly crashes, on average once every two days.
I tried CentOS, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and now Windows 8.1 6.5. The problem is the same, automatic system reboot or freezing.
I tested the RAM and HDD with DATA SMART Bios MemTest and Ubuntu. Now, I tested the system with Lenovo 8.1 Windows solution Center.
Here is the result of the test:
Advanced memory integrity test Past PCI Express Test status Past Diagnosis of storage devices Test of the SMART State Past Targeted reading test Past Try to search randomly Past Test research of the funnel Past SMART short self-test Past SMART drive self-test Warning
Any help will be appreciated.
Ah! Kingston memory will definitely cause your system down. Kingston memory does NOT work properly with any system of Lenovo and is responsible for the crash.
Why LR 6 on my mac unexpectedly and repeatedly crash them? This happens when I view my images after importation and in the middle of changing them.
First of all make sure that you use Lightroom 6.5 (if you have 6.5 then update your Lightroom through keeping updated in Lightroom)
Try to disable the use of the graphics processor
Go to Preferences, click the performance tab, and then clear the check box
OK - so I see that there are few people complain of similar problems, so here's my problem:
1. new installation of Windows 8.1 (64) - Dell laptop with 8 G of RAM and INTEL graphics card
2. before this - the m / c was running an old version of Skype perfectly on Win7 Pro
3. check all drivers up to date.
4. all recommended/important updates apply.
5. installed Skype 220.127.116.11 had to reboot and re - sign in to Skype before my contacts came.
6 first test - call Echo - right pane goes gray, cursor weaves, echo replies and I can record my voice. BUT no way to put an end to the call that the right pane is still not virgins a GRAY.
7. after a certain time - bombs of Skype with an exception.
8 exception and dxdiag that attached in the zip.
NB my Skype app on an iPad is still running - even IOS 8.1.1.
Thanks - I hope never...
OK - so I'm wrong about the 64-bit I guess:-O.
Just re-installed 18.104.22.168 after uninstalling the version 6.14.
Thanks for reminding me that my laptop gas also a graphics chip GeForce - bug * d if I know why I need this because I've NEVER played a game on the PC - and I have no intention to do:-O.
In any case, your comment made me think - WHY Skype is trying to UNLOAD a driver:-O.
So - I checked the settings of device for the GeForce card Manager and surprise - Windows tells me its dat yo:-O.
So I downloaded the graphical tool GeForce GeForce 'experience' and IT tells me that my GeForce driver is actuall up-to-date (by YEAR): - O - thank you Microsoft:-O.
-J' so installed the new version, Skype, uninstalled, reinstalled 6.22 and BINGO - it now works BL * Y!.
So WHY Skype plans even with some "games graphics driver? By the simple act of switching, it in or out - blocks Skype:-O.
In any case - folded findgers - his work WITH the latest Skype:-O.
Hope this might help some other poor S * D ;-))
I use a Macbook Pro retina 15 "and using OS X El Capitan, verion 10.11.5.
After a recent transfer of photos from my iPhone to iPhoto, to close iPhoto, the icon Finder keeps 'jump' the top down and the same error repeatedly, showing in the dialog in the middle of the screen (it flashes until disappears, flashes up, disappears several times without end):
It is not possible to click on one of the options in the dialog box. This caused other problems now. If I open all the Apps then they crash instantly, or open for about 10-15 seconds before crashing and flashing error up to 'preferences system closed unexpectedly' report etc. Non-Apple apps (for example MS Word/Powerpoint) survive longer opening. If I try to open system preferences or the System State and then they all have two crash as well. So basically, other than documents such as PDFs or pictures, everything I opened crashes a few seconds to open. I restarted the Mac - regular options still appear to stop down and restart by pressing the power button. I tried the tips on other forums, but the steps they describe require opening applications or programs that simply plant when I opened (e.g. try opening the Terminal).
If I briefly to open an App and then reappear items on my desktop. If there is no apps temporarily only open then the contents of the Office disappears.
Please read this message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It is unlikely to solve your problem. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The test is intended to determine if the problem is caused by a third-party software that loads automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.
Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.
The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.
Test in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of the test.
Whenever my colleague attempts to share their screen with me, Skype crashes. There is no problem in sharing my screen with him.
I tried to remove the program and reinstall - it worked the first time thereafter, but today it happened again. Can someone help me please?

+ Win 8 - unexpected Kernel Mode trap (nvlddmkm.sys) +.
The nvlddmkm.sys belongs to the nVidia driver that's why I recommend to uninstall this driver first.
After the new reboot, you should clean the system using tools such as for example: CCLeaner
Also look for a "Minidump" folder in the disk Local (c) / Windows and remove this "Minidump" folder located in "(c) / Windows.
After rebooting again to check the functionality of the laptop and install the nVidia Driver has published on the page of Toshiba
I have latest Skype and the latest video drivers and when I go to tools-> video, the entire system crashes (Windows 8.1) with strips of different colors on my screen. I have to restart the whole PC. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?
Try to uninstall the currently installed version of Skype and install the previous 188.8.131.52 version by using the download links provided here:
Be sure to turn off the automatic updates:
Tools-> Options-> Advanced-> automatic updates-> turn off automatic updates
I had a Nexus 6 p Android 6.0, for a few weeks. Skype installs and opens. But it crashes without a report on any attempt to make a call or send a message. I check daily for updates to the application. This post is primarily a signal to Microsoft that the app does not work.
Thank you. The work of the 5.4 version. I'm glad that I block the automatic updates.
The previous respondent, I use the original version of Android comes with the Nexus 6 p.
