• Audio cutting to the front of the slides

  Hi all

  I have a project of 60 slides with the project which has voice audio (WAV) on about 50 slides - generally since the beginning of the slide (as opposed to a descent in the timeline). It presents a preview OK. However, when I publish the audio on some of the slides project late - missing / clipping the first two words. I tried to move the audio off the beginning of the slide, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem, I tried both MP3s and wavs and the problem still happens. Someone at - it solutions or suggestions? I republished several times with no real improvement. The project was recorded at 6 and is currently being edited in 9 - that would be of importance any?

  The important thing is that the silence until the clip can't be PURE silence containing audio data or Captivate actually will remove that part of the wave to the runtime and this can cause your problem where the first part of the voice is cut off.

  So if you add silence at the beginning of the voice-over, it must be 'dirty silence', which means that it must contain at least a CERTAIN noise at low altitude so that Captivate mess with it.  I usually just cut and paste some low level background noise between a few sentences of voiceover.

  However, remember that there is only pure silence between phrases or words in speech TTS.  This silence is therefore of no use to you in this situation.

  I am trying to prune or shared a video slide full motion in 2 (so I can remove the unnecessary part). Buttons select the start time and duration do not seem to do anything, and the handy old TRIM function in previous versions of Captivate seems to have disappeared (OB).

  Is this a FMR-slide, you will find the trim on the Options tab.

  

  If it's a cpvc blade, there is a video editor dedicated with lots more features then cut: pan/zoom, inserting static objects, etc.

  I love that it is so easy to create a slide show.

  But I don't see a customizable option for not having my slideshow "adjust to the designated space.

  I fear not the thumbnails to cuts (better than resized to a weird resolution) but when seen in the slide show, some people on the pictures intersect.

  Is there a way to solve this (rather than put everything in photoshop and resize smaller so there's a border)?

  Tried using "Fit content proportionally" in the field new hero in the slide show Options. Hope that helps.

  Two things you can try:

• Click on the Audio box when you go to a slide of simulation - can it be cut

  Hi people

  I have a click rectangle that directs the user to a slide of simulation. When selected, you will hear an audible 'click' when it moves to the slide. Is it possible that turns off? I also tried a smart shape instead, and even click on it. What because of the simulation?

  You don't say which version are you using? If its CP8 or 9, you can turn off the clicking sound in the Actions tab, as you can see in this screenshot:

  I use 6 Captivate and I did a project quite important (28 slides). I would now like it split into 2 small projects so I can publish separately, however, I don't know how to do this without reinventing the wheel? I would like to export to SCORM-ready files.

  Hello

  You can simply select the slides in the film and then copy and paste again project.

  If you are also a result of the quiz slide in your project, you should uncheck during the copy of the slides, like you can not move slide result quiz from one project to the other.

  Once you copy the slides with quiz inside, slide result quiz will also be created in the new project.

  On our Web site, we have a slider with about 10 images that have always worked. Now, users who have installed the update of Firefox to 35.01 cannot see the full images. Instead, some images are cut off 20%-80% of the way down on the cursor, while others are intact and completely visible. Image size/type has no effect.

  Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

• Need sharper custom title for iMovie slides

  Running iMovie on MacBook Pro with OS 10.11.1 10.1.1.

  IMovie titles are too limited to custom I Movie title slides where professional text and graphics are needed.  I created in MS Office for Mac Powerpoint, then saved as images in the highest resolution allowed by «Save as pictures...» Options '.  The results are each max of 200-300K of photo in JPG format.  Then, after importing into iMovie, the slide (jpg) still lost sharpness, police is not crispy.  Jpg anchored on pptx slide also a loss of sharpness.

  I tried to import jpg in PhotoShop Elements and increased size of the output file, but it starts to pixelate or disintegrates quickly.  Thus, a slight increase in sharpness costs appear jagged with fine fonts.  Export to TIFF pptx doesn't seem much better.

  Please suggest a graphical application or technique with these applications mentioned above for the most beautiful, professional quality title slides.

  The text in PhotoShop Elements tools are obscure and impractical to say the least!

  iMovie is a great consumer product that perhaps does not always more demanding business needs.

  iMovie does not support 3rd party plug-ins that gives you limited options.  Rather than struggling with workarounds, you can go to Final Cut Pro X to see if it better suits your purpose.

• Problem with the numbers in the rows of cut and paste

  I'm new to MAC and now have problems with the help of figures, I brought my windows Excel worksheets. On windows, I could cut a line and paste anywhere on this page and by practice that Excel would fill the void rank where I cut the content. but here on MAC it does not work, why?

  Numbers is excellent NO then you should consider to guide your expectations.

  Cut number refers only to the content NOT the line, or cells.  Select when a row, and then use the cut command that you cut the contents of the cells.

  If you try to move a line from one place to another, you should try this method (which can work for you)...

  Select the line, then click and hold on the header line (up to the line "lift" on the table), the operation slide the line to the destination.

• MultiCam cutting question

  I have a multicam clip on my project schedule with 2 video and 1 audio angle. There should be a shortcut that allows me to slide the clip, then move the video angles without changing the angle of the audio. Option - Shift - 2, according to the editor command, Yes? When I try to do, all I get is a "bong" noise I tried already to rampage of preferences.

  Any ideas? Thank you.

  It works for me when the angle Viewer shows.

  Window-> View Display-> Angles to show (or Cmd-Shift-7), then you can use the Option + shift + -(1, 2 or 3) to cut/switch audio & video, video just or just audio, respectively.

• downloaded an album purchased from itunes on my IPOD and all the songs are cut one or two minutes before the end of the song! Help, please

  I bought an album (Hot Tuna for $16.99. All songs downloaded on my IPOD, but all songs have been cut until they end. I contacted Apple and have not heard a thing. Did not get a refund either. Someone please tell me what is happening. Thanks, Jeff

  Try to remove the music album / iPod by it slide to the left and tap on delete for each song. Repeat this until you have removed the album in full, and then try redownloading the album from iTunes on your iPod. If the problem persists try restarting your iPod by pressing and keeping the Power + Home keys until the iPod reboots.
