Slow server initially

I had to reinstall on XP SP3. Now everything works well except when it starts, the Services - SERVER displays 'departure' for about 30-40 minutes until it detects and connects to the network. How can I fix?

Security server to slow Server Broker on the initial connection

I'll open a ticket support as well but thought I would ask here.
My network team assures me that all configurations are as they should be, and I tend to believe them.
The problem is that after so many hours, if anyone has used the Security Server, the initial connection to a desktop computer may take up to 10 minutes. There is an initial delay before the user is prompted credentials, then another delay before they are invited to choose their virtual machine. Once they are connected, everything works fine. Are they disconnect and reconnect immediately to the whole process takes 10 seconds.
Our tracks seem to indicate that the Security Server tries to reuse an old connection through the firewall on the servers of broker. He waits for this timeout and then establishes a new connection to how the process is accelerating.
Can anyone provide any idea for this?

I have experienced this same problem and opened a ticket, 1116381631, in case you want to reference it. The reasoning of that problem directly from VMware

ISE 2.0 Application Server initializing state

I have update the ISE of 1.3 to 2.0 version. After the upgrade of the ISE to 2.0, that application server service is initializing state.

Tried the steps below:

1. application stop ise

2. application start ise

3 reload.

4. install the latest patch. Patch 3.

But, no luck

Very slow server file transfer client

I am currently using application 6i and even I am converted forms 11g. However, I found that the transfer of files from Client to server weblogic is very slow. My 6i application takes 20 seconds for all 5 mb upload while 11g takes 40sec to copy a file to server weblogic only FTP get and finally download beginning so full download completed around more than 1 minute.
Download same front end are little slow
Can anyone guide on this

Slow Server 2008 performance when you use more than 1 CPU - bug?

It seems that when I run Server 2008 on one of my boxes 3 10.5.7 if I use more than 1 CPU in the settings, the ankles of machine the CPU while booting and then during the use of the operating system. Normally, I have to run all 3 of them at the same time... and if I get all 3 virtual machines running, the CPU remains just pegged and slows down the machine.
Then, if I close everything and change the settings to 1 CPU, virtual machines work fine, the CPU barely sees any activity and 75% of the 8 GB is used and it can run for weeks at a time without any problem.

VCPU more inside a virtual machine using could be a big problem, if you don't have much physical basis.

If you set vCPU # = # pCore, then you will have several performance issue, cause you VM hangs (during its run) ALL of your hearts.

Impossible to update Alpha UI - incredibly slow server and connection drivers

I have tried for more than 2 hours to download a update of 84.5 MB (Alpha UI 3.0.5.8), and it keeps giving up the connection. Could someone please look into this? I have 2 other systems (Macs) at home, and all are facing the same problem. My Wi - Fi and wi - fi network and all other web services (and the download speed internet 100 MB) are completely solid. This is just isolated to the downloads.dell.com server. It is broken? This is a mandatory update, so I can't use my new system without it. It's very frustrating, because I downloaded 23 GB worth other files at the same time that 50% of the download ended with several connections interrupted (and now it says "this page cannot be displayed"). Help, please! Thank you.

It seems that they have set. My download time is now about 35 to 40 minutes for a 685 MB file.

Terminal Server RDP is very slow!

I have a small network with a domain controller Active Directory (Windows 2003) - including the Exchange, I had a Windows 2003 Terminal Server initially, but have replaced the Windows 2003 Terminal Server with a Terminal Windows 2008 Enterprise Server (not R2). Windows 2008 is a completely new system, not an upgrade.

The problem is that the new Terminal Server ('08) is running very very slow one time the old 2003 Terminal Server is not present on the network. Although I use is no longer the old server, he seems to have an impact on the performance of the network.

For example, if I should shut down the old server, the new server becomes very slow. It takes about 5 + minutes to services/applications load after you try to connect to the server using RDP. You get a white screen for a long time before the icons are loaded and everything works really slow, including Outlook. All servers are physical boxes and I'm not going to finally get rid of the old Terminal Windows 2003 server.

I don't know if it has something to do with the behavior, but the old server is not used. It is initialized only to try to keep the stable network.

I just wanted to know if you guys know... I created a server with a model Win2008 R2 Win2008... I am for problems later? I spend 2 days creaating my server Win 2008 my Spec (slow server) and realized when I went to create another server that I may have used the model R2. Since I had rather not scrap the whole VM now after 2 days of building, I just wonder if im in trouble more late in which case I prefer now to scrap it and start over. PS what is the diff between the R1 and R2 model?

11.1.2 opmn_EPM_epmsystem1 service does not start after server move

Moved our 11.1.2 Windows 2008 SP2 (not R2) 64-bit machines from one domain to another (test for prod) and reconfigured the repositories to production SQL server (2005). Configuration is all green, and yet the EPM_epmsystem1 won't start. It sticks at the start and after some kind of time-out.

We run as administrator of thought that would be the problem but nothing helped. We tried the delivered but script in order to use either.

In the directory E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\diagnostics\logs\OPMN\opmn of the opmn.log shows that this:

had it solved and it was weird and forgotten on our part. In our test environment, we do not have DNS server set up and so we hard-coded IP addresses in the file of the windows server host name.

Once we have removed the ip address in the hostname file the service started.

Question seeks to clean install 10 Windows on the drive of the merger. El Capitan.

Try using BCA to create a new partition Boot Camp and a clean Windows 10 install after downloading an image of disk W10 directly from Microsoft (Win10_1511_1_English_x64), BCA by downloading software updates and by selecting the desired partition, it began to restart and initialize the installation. Day 5. Attempt at 6.

Partition Boot Camp delete and try again install via BCA. First question, is that when the startup it goes to a blank black screen. For a time nothing left. Reset then using alt to select windows training results in almost instantaneous startup of the BCA message created and the beginning of the installation.

4 1/2 hours from start of Windows 10 initial signature window.

Then the second question. One to reach the Boot Camp update Office tries to start and install the drivers. Allows you to "list files...". "stage then sits at the bar about 5% green for 1 to 2 hours and does nothing. All actions in the Office of the W10 takes ages.

In the meantime, auto update of the W10 appears a message saying that the updated graphics drivers as one of the few messages or actions during this period. Looks like Nvidia install with the entire package of experience (unwanted) etc. and very probably not the correct gpu driver.

Finally deciding to cancel the installation of BC by killing the Setup.exe process. Then copy Boot camp install files on the desktop. Lasts 30 minutes to copy. Run again and this time, although taking 15-20 minutes to download and install later with the success message.

Check the graphic driver it shows a yellow exclamation mark, so the following Microsoft instructions I use the uninstall option via the device and then Manager (slowly) come on board to load and download the latest Nvidia driver on their site for the GTX 780 M for 64-bit W10 etc. The same thing that I had used previously. Slow with running the Nvidia Setup program again, but eventually it works only to say that he could not install as unrecognized graphics device...

He ends up with Microsoft PnP driver so it's at least sufficient start and run it again BC of the figure updates as all other drivers have been installed. Officejet 5610 - umpteen tries, but some printer software won't just UNINSTALL

Have to / want to completely uninstall all the HP printer package in order to do a clean INSTALL. I have Windows XP and this printer has been working well for a few years now, but stopped a couple of weeks.

Slow death: initially, could not print but Scan ok & the window Solution Center was fine. Then Scan will not work, but still the window SC was fine. Now, the entire batch is dead.

Last week, tried everywhich way suggested in various forums, including it, but some of the software with respect to this printer just will not go away. Tried on (in no particular order)...
- uninstalled via the control panel configuration/add or delete - it's just a dead-end; does absolutely nothing, but can see the entries of HP products.
- Registery cleaning... no obvious improvement
- install the HP Web site for what he will clean or recognize the persistent stuburning software. The process has given the option "Uninstall" which appeared to be successful while he continued to 'install' which failed. All I get is window without options black HP Solution Center.
- repeatedly tried to install using the CD that came with the printer... Failed!
- tried pulling my hair don't go out several times along the way... no obvious resolution!

I've explained the problem that is described in detail in the following thread, please read full for understand what is the problem.

In short:

The problem is in the stage of Windows where you select the partition to install it's unpossible click Next:

An error message appears that says: cannot find any partition or create an install for... but the hard drive is visible and its also possible to create and delete partitions, so the error message is bull * beep *.

My thougth is that sandisk stick is detected as disk sata hard and is internally by mistake folders as first hard disk, if I get out the stick at the stage where I select the partition, click Refresh, reconnect the key, other refreshment so I can install on the hard disk.

What is the problem with your extreme poles? Any other key usb 3.0 works well.

To pull the stick and so on is just a workaround dirty, I bougth the stick because of the speed!

I suspect it has something do to with the way the partition tables are setup on the source media (in this case a san disk usb drive.) I would start there.

I have a feeling that the controller in the stick is slow at initializing, and is simply not fast enough for Windows Setup. If you watch the USB stick when Windows is setting up, you can see that it's being initialized, (just before setup asks what drive you want to install Windows on) as my mouse and keyboard also disconnect and reconnect at the same time.

OK, I went looking for references. Yes you can do it, but it seems it is not as easy to do as I thought, at least for everyone. Some folks say the standard built-in Windows 7 tools do it automatically, some say they don't. I still haven't tried it, since I don't have a USB stick available to partition at the moment. Some references say that that you need to flip the USB removable bit so that Windows will see the stick as a fixed drive before you can partition it. I also found two different tutorials or how to partition a USB stick here and here. So, yes, one way or another it can be done.
