• Replace Smart AC adapter for laptop HP 17-E054CA

  I have a new HP17-EO54CA and it came with a Smart AC adapter. I keep getting messages that I should buy an adapter of sector output higher than it may be necessary for some applications.

  I don't know how to do this. I googled as many combinations I could think and I'm pretty good at finding things on the web, but I can't find how to replace this adapter with a higher output level one.

  Any suggestions?

  BTW - the cord is interchangeable on the power adapters. One of my friends is 3 ft and I just swapped out with the longest of my laptop which is in a place not need longer cable.

  I finally found the solution to this problem of message adapter.

  I have a new HP Envy 17 with the original adapter and these pop-up windows began immediately.  With the help of victory 8

  In my case appears eroneously because food works very well.

  Just delete the smart adapter: SMRTADPTR.     This file is only the pop-up message.

  SMRTADPTR.

  Hewlet-Packard/HP system files (x 86) program event/SmrtAdptr

  This should take care of this annoying problem.   I would like to know if it works for you.

  As it is stated in this document from HP for help and test the AC adapter in the messages section of understanding HP Smart adapter;

  

  "This message indicates that the adapter doesn't have enough power for your laptop computer. The battery light may flash quickly 8 times and in testing of system power icon indicates that the laptop is running on battery power.

  For example, using a power adapter 65W or 65W adapter travel on laptops series more Mobile Workstation is not supported.

  This message does not indicate that the adapter needs to be replaced or is defective. "Use the adapter appropriate for your laptop model."

  

  "This message indicates that the AC adapter has enough power to use your laptop, but not enough power to deliver the expected performance. .

  Good news is that there is a difficulty.

  I was given further guidance to Support cat HP, including a link to the page software and downloads.  This shows a new BIOS Softpaq, which has not been suggested by HP Support Assistant. Details of the update of the BIOS are;

  I have a planning application and I can connect to planning using smartview without any problem. For planning, I am using independent provider and then connections by using the URL: http://localhost:8300/HyperionPlaning/SmartView.
  
  Planning is very good, I can work on wbforms, launch busines rules.
  
  Now, I want to work on Essbase also and I select the announcement of provider connection common this error.
  
  Unable to connect to the provider because: unable to connect to the provider. The connection to the server failed. Make sure that the server is running in the specified URL.
  
  Please help me on this.

  I mixed up to the top of my power adapter with one to a school that happens to have hundreeds of hp computers. I had a chat with someone at HP session who said that my cpomputer using a 45W adapter. However, when I got back to school to get my adapter only which correspond to my computer is 65W. Can I use this card?

  I lost the warranty information and broke my dongle.  Who can I call about this?

  When you say "broke" what do you mean? The warranty on the power adapter is for the first year, but if you "broke" it then it is not covered yet and you have to pay for a new. I mean by "broken" physically damaged in any way. Pulled apart, frayed, the connection head is out, ect. If it has stopped working due to an internal malfunction, then you have right to a new on so that you are in the first year. Call 1-800-474-6836 with your mobile product number and serial number if you are not sure of your warranty and you can find / request a new.

  You can also get this just to run the browser sometimes, or do something else that is benign.

  I believe that the recommendation for now is to ignore it, and they can have fixed when doing the update (in about a week, I've heard?).

  You can control whether or not the call log entries appear in the messages. From the home screen, go to the phone application (press the Green key). Then press the BB (the button to the right of the green phone button) and select Options. Then select Call Logging... in there, this is where you control what that name (if applicable) get connected in the message list.

  I bought a portable Omen in October.  I get the Smart AC adapter connected to this computer is not sufficient to provide the best performance of the computer.  Why isn't the battery supplied with the computer made to order the correct power for the purchased computer?  Now I have to buy another battery for my computer performs at the rate that it should?

  The message you get is control of software adapter. You use the original supplied adapter for this laptop? If so, you should contact the HP customer Service for a replacement.

  The laptop, the battery and the AC adapter / CC are all matched for performance when sold at HP.

  I lost the adapter for the HP 15-037cl laptop and can't seem to find out exactly what we I need to get to replace it. I know the voltage (19.5 v) and current 65w (3.33), but can't seem to find the right connector size and when I ordered one on ebay that was supposed to bean OEM adapter, it will not fill in the laptop at all.

  I have a dv7 (dv3085dx) and I just had to buy a new power adapter. I bought a smart official max 90w hp power adapter but when I plug in, I get an error message;

  "smart ac adapter output power is too low for this pc."

  I tried to take the battery on a farm as the power button for 60 seconds and I tried to uninstall power management and I've also updated and fact so that my bios was failing.

  I returned the anb to adapter hp bought a rocketfish and the problem has been resolved. not sure why an hp adapter did not work with a pc hp but it was the question.
