  I have Windows 8 & just bought HP Photosmart 7520. I'm having a lot of problems with printing as a booklet.

  On the hand print Page , I chose "landscape", 1 page per sheet, & left binding. Also define the subset of booklet for "both parties".  I put the size of the paper to "Adjust the actual size" (in fact the paper size does not seem to matter). I make sure that the 'booklet' is highlighted too.

  This is where things get hairy: my impressions are turned upside down when printing on both sides.

  1. I checked under the section 'Properties' that will 'Layout' & have tried to "Flip on short edge" without control "auto rotation" on the main print page
  2. I tried the same thing as above but in «back long edges»
  3. I check 'auto' turn on home page, & he checked "Flip on short edge" under properties
  4. I repeated #3 & checked "Flip on long edge" under properties

  Is there something else I can do?  I'm so frustrated! (By the way, I had to go through trial & error with my first HP all-in-one, too - my 5510, but with different options of your choice) Why is it so complicated?

  I did #1 & #2 as you said under Properties / page layout; "" but I discovered this: - in the page size, - DO NOT hit "booklet" under the section layout (do in the main print section.) Page per sheet must be marked as "1" (booklet will make 2 pgs appear side by side on the half of a complete pg) also, I discovered "Flip on Long Edge" worked.

  Then on the main print section I continued to keep the subset as "both sides", linking as a 'left', & Yes, portrait orientation was right (Bravo!).  I have NOT checked "auto rotation"I put the size of the page 'clean'. "  I clicked on the icon of the libretto, then to print the value * (see the tip below)

  It took 2 tries to do things.  Which is weird, it's print preview showed two of them looking for the same thing, but as I said, the 2nd try worked.  Yay! I hope this will help many others.

  * Another tip: on the homepage print where the section named the pages you print, type the words "Page" next to the number.  I typed in "Page 1 - Page 4" & I got a good sampling of the entire brochure & how it would print.

  How you define the quality of project setting so this will be the default setting for regular printing?

  Since our Ipad, it prints normal which is dark. We don't know how to go in the printer settings and reset it whenever we print.

  I went to advanced options under my computor for Muslim to output and set in quick project.  When I print, it returns to normal

  Greetings!

  Create/modify the default setting for printing on your computer your preferences as follows should help...

  1. Close all open applications
  2. Go to control panel and choose devices and printers (you may need also this shortcut in your Start menu)
  3. In the window see you your printer, right click and choose printing options
  4. Make all the respective changes here and click on apply, then OK
  5. From there on your default printing option, when you click Ctrl + P or Print, would be what you set.

  Hi, first time user here. I do a LOT of pictures like "gimmies" for friends and family, especially around the holidays. My computer just planted a fit recently and don't let me NOT look at my photos. I can download them and see the photos, but as soon as I try to click again to revisit, I get the following message: HP Media Smart Photo main program has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. (Apparently it wasn't available yet!)  I tried all that I know, which isn't much I admit. I have a Geek Squad coverage but it's Christmas and they cannot get me to more important things - such as the installation of new sales. It's okay I bought two from them in two years. Lightning struck an and now I can not see pictures or do anything with photos on it. (Which means I can't order some presents that involves photos stored on THIS computer.) Can someone help me to fix my problem? I would REALLY appreciate your help! How Merry Christmas and God bless you and yours!

  The first thing I would try is to use Recovery Manager to reinstall HP MediaSmart Photo - the procedure to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  After reinstallation is complete, restart the PC.

  When windows has completely recharged, open HP MediaSmart Photo and give it a few minutes to index all your photos again and then check if it opens correctly now.

  Have you downloaded the photos using the Nikon software? It is known that will corrupt files, so that the PS can not open them. This test by shooting an image and opening directly from the map, or your operating system allows to transfer the image.

  I'm new to the world, it Mac - I recently acquired my son iMac (27 inch, late 2009), which has been well looked after and has already been updated to El Capitan.  I'm not a perfect beginner computer because I was using, construction and repair of PC from MS Windows 3 to go... and I wonder why it took me so long to get to Mac?

  There are things I would do with this new iMac (for me) before you start to use it seriously initially there many applications and programs and games that my son installed and used that I will probably never, I would do a fresh install of OS - X El Capitan so that I can update the whole as a new system. I would also like to upgrade memory, the vehicle currently has 4 GB of memory (2 x 2 GB DIMMS) and I would like to upgrade it's full potential 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) I saw compatible available from Crucial.com SODIMM is a job that I could realize as I have work on PC etc and am not afraid to give it a go myself if its possible.

  All tips will be useful (please excuse the terminology if it is not correct in referring to all things Mac) Please be nice :-)

  The backup to iCloud for an iPad does not include items that are already in iCloud, your iCloud stream library and my photos are not included in the backup to iCloud.

  My HP Media Smart pictures has suddenly stopped working.  When I try to open my pictures, it stays on for a few seconds and then closes.  I think I need to re - install the Media Smart Photo software; However, I have to uninstall the old software before I can re - install.  I will not lose the pictures that I previously imported into Media Smart?

  It looks like existing MediaSmart Photo installation is damaged, but the software indexes only the pictures that are on your drive hard reader, so uninstall and then reinstall this product will not result in the loss of all images.

  Note that, once the reinstallation is complete, launch the software and let it re-index your multimedia files - this may take a few minutes depending on the number of images.

  I'm afraid that the answer is the same as your other request. It is not a question of the difference between Photoshop CS 5.5 and the Design Premium version. This is the version number. And Photoshop CS Design Premium 5.5 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to 6.7. The DNG Converter is always your best choice if you're not ready to upgrade your Photoshop.

  But then I realize I have not read your question closely. The DNG Converter does not work with any program. It is a separate stand-alone program which is used only to create copies of your DNG (digital negative) raw images. You can use the DNG Converter as your software download, conversion of images as they are transferred to your computer. Then, you will be able to open them with older versions of Camera Raw that are compatible with your version of Photoshop. Some people fear that the DNG Converter means a step further. But if you use it in your download software, I think you will find that it can streamline things considerably.

  When you configure the DNG Converter, make sure that a compatibility option that is compatible with your version of Camera Raw. Also, take note that the DNG Converter will prompt you for a FILE containing raw images. Choose the folder, but do not open it.
