Smartphone blackBerry, ADDING AN EMAIL SIGNATURE

I TRIED EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN TO TRY TO ADD A SIGNATURE TO EMAIL TO A BLACKBERRY CURVE. I AM SIMPLY UNABLE TO DO SO. I FOLLOWED EACH INSTUCTION AND NOTHING. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN HELP.

ALSO, I MISSED A CALL ICON ON MY PHONE THAT WON'T GO AWAY. ICON SHOWS THAT I HAVE CALLED A FAILURE, BUT IT IS THERE HAS NO CALLS IN THE CALL LOG. IT'S ALREADY HAPPENED AND I HAD TO WIPE MY HANDHELD COMPUTER. IS THERE A WAY I CAN GET RID OF THIS WITHOUT WIPING MY OWN BLACKBERRY?

Welcme to frums!

For your signature:

  • Smartphones blackBerry selectively remove Electronic Signature created by BIS?

I put my personal signature on all my email accounts block based on BIS - which works very well.  However, I have noticed that in a thread with some answers - my signature block is added (each time) at the bottom of the net.  So, if I answer - say for the 3rd time - the signature block does not stay with this 3rd response; rather - it drops all the way to the bottom of the net - behind other signature blocks.

With BES - Signature remains with everything that has been typed/added to the thread.  Anyone know of a way to opt out (or in) for BIS email signature block?  For example - when I create an email and the signature block is here - that's fine - but I don't need it to go with each subsequent response to this same e-mail thread - especially if it is not rooted in what I just typed and thrown to the bottom.

    Ideas?

    Thank you!

You can just disable your line of GIS BIS entirely and use the AutoText instead.

Recreate your sig line in OPtions > AutoText wih some combination of letters such as "zx" to activate the signature.

Where should I enter your email signature information? I surfed and found it should be under 'options', 'email', but under my options, I don't have the e-mail option? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

With your list of Messages is displayed, click on the BBKey, and then select Options. Then send the parameters. Make sure that the first item says "Desktop"... the auto-sig is here.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I attach a "signature" to my emails? Thank you.

How can I reach a "signature" to my emails? Thank you.

You can not attach the signature, but you can change the signature on emails.

Access your web page of Castelnau, sign in to your account, go to blackberry e-mail configuration, edit the e-mail account and to change the signature, you can add anything you want.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Bold 9900 email configuration issues

When I access the configuration application and e-mail accounts and select I get instructions to "activate your business account and enter the details provided by your system administrator." Looking at the information on the internet it seems I should get another option: "Internet mail account", but that option appears. I recently bought this phone and I have never set up a company account. Now I can't access my email via my phone. Any ideas?

Before you get too deep into what, please call your operator and confirm that you have the blackberry internet service added to your account.  Without this service, you will not be able to email personal to be installed on this phone.  Don't know what else to say on they mention, but you must have BIS added to your account in order to setup email.  Even when a wifi connection.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry 8330 BES email missing icon

Initially, I place my Blackberry with Internet Web mail to my work Exchange account.  It worked and I got a message icon and an icon of electronic mail.  E-mail formwork happen instantly, but it would happen.

Then we installed the BES professional at work and set up the blackberry connect via BES.  I can get e-mail messages in my e-mail folder (icon) twice; Once instantly (from BES), and later I would get the same message on the Internet.  I then deleted the Internet e-mail account to stop the duplication; However, the end result is that the e-mail icon has disappeared leaving only the message icon.

How can I get the email from BES what icon reloaded?  I sent service books and re-recorded.  I also restored the internet account; However, BES traffic does not appear instantly as it did initially.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I found my answer on in the following article in the knowledge base Blackberry "see KB03151 for more information on the role of the service books in the integration of email with BlackBerry Internet Service accounts. Due to the function of the average service books, there is no icon on the home screen of your BlackBerry smartphone to individual emails sent from a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. »

You all just rebooted the device and tried again the configuration of email?

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

You can also log into your account to Tmobile on a PC and change/add email accounts there.

  • Smartphones blackBerry being deleted emails

    Hi all

    I hope someone can help!

I have two email accounts set up on my curve, hotmail is one the other is my work address.  My Hotmail emails remain on my BlackBerry until I have delete but the e-mails I get from my account to work automatically deleted after a short period of time without notification!  Any help will be appreciated

    Try this:

IF you use Outlook to download your email on your desktop PC, Outlook is probably "remove" mail from your email server when it downloads on your PC.

There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on server".

    For MS Outlook 2003:
    1. Outlook > tools > e-mail accounts > view or change existing > next.
    2. Select the e-mail account > change > additional settings.
    3. Advanced tab > leave a copy of Messages on the server
    4. check this box.

    * You will need to make this change for each Outlook e-mail account, you have.

Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting, although it can be found in a slightly different place of the: Advanced settings.
